
The suspect and the deceased who were involved in the Jurong East murder are said to have broken up recently. The suspect waited for her downstairs at the deceased’s home for more than three hours before the incident. After quarreling and fighting with each other, he was suspected of stabbing her multiple time that led to her death before she fell to the ground.
The 35-year-old male suspect and the 34-year-old female deceased were reported to have been lovers, but the neighbours revealed that the two had broken up. The 35-year-old man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder.
It is believed that the victim was from Malaysia while the suspect was a PRC man. The PRC man who lived nearby was seen waiting for her at her void deck of her home. When she came back more than 11pm at night, the two had a big fight, which caused residents concern.
The deceased was seen lying down motionless in her blood outside a nearby kindergarten.
The police were then seen at the scene before they cordoned off Block 306 to Block 309 Jurong East St 32. The deceased was lying on the outside of Sparkletots Kindergarten downstairs at Block 308 with multiple stab wounds on her body. Some residents said that when she was taken by the ambulance, her hands were still moving.
The police revealed that she was unconscious when she was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and eventually died from her injuries at around 1:30 am today (17th Feb).
The suspect was also believed to be injured and he was found at Block 307.
A 32-year-old parent said that when she sent her daughter to school this morning, she was shocked to see the blood on the ground outside the kindergarten. She could only cover her child’s eyes and take her on a detour.
The kindergarten is open as usual today, but the children must make a detour to enter.
