Singaporean director Anthony Chen, who won the Camera d’Or prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, as well as four Golden Horse awards for his movie Ilo Ilo, just released a casting call for his upcoming film, “We Are All Strangers”.
Chen is looking for students who can speak English and their own mother tongue, and are aged between 16 and 22 years old as of 2021.
All races and genders are welcomed and lack of acting experience is not an issue.
However, underaged applicants below 18 will require parental consent before being allowed to take part in casting activities.
Chen added that production starts in 2022 and there will be a series of auditions and performance workshops before the actual casting in the second half of this year (2021).
Applications will be closed on 16 April 2021 at 6pm.
