A heartwarming photo of a Malaysian boy eating his packed lunch discreetly in a corner of the classroom has been making its rounds on Facebook.
The boy was doing so to respect his Muslim classmates who were fasting during Ramadan.
The teacher had instructed the non-Muslims students to eat their packed lunch at their desks (this practice was introduced to curb the spread of Covid-19 in M’sia) while the Muslim students rested at theirs.
The kid has been praised and complimented by people for being kind and behaving well beyond his years.
The OP who shared the photos on Facebook lauded the child in a post:

I think we can all learn a little something about tolerance, respect and kindness from this young man.
God knows the world we live in today needs that little bit of kindness.
