Local actor Shane Pow was charged in court earlier today (22 April) with drink driving.
He was charged under one count of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Pow was driving a “motorvan” with at least 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of his breath, far exceeding the 35 microgrammes legal limit.
Drunk Pow was driving along Java Road towards Nicoll Highway at about 11.30pm on 17 September 2020.
It is worth highlighting that the 30-year-old was previously convicted on July 2014 with the same offence of drink driving and if he’s convicted again, he’d be a repeat offender and face a minimum driving ban of 5 years.
Pow’s lawyer asked the court for 6 weeks to make representations.
Separately, Pow was also present at local actor’s Terence Cao’s illegal gathering that breath Covid-19 laws.
