A monkey was caught stealing an elderly woman’s handbag at Punggol, near the Sunrise Gateway and Sunrise Bridge.

It then brought the bag up a tree and unzipped it to get to its ill-gotten gains.
The auntie’s bag was reportedly placed on the bench, which led to the monkey stealing it.
According to a netizen, the monkey eventually returned the auntie’s belongings from the bag, dropping the items from the tree top, one by one.
Mischievous fella saved the best (or worst) for last, dropping the auntie’s handphone last.
