I need the LTA to go near taxi stands and fine taxi drivers queuing at the taxi stands, as much as they don’t like others to use their taxi stands, whenever the taxi stands states ” 2 taxis only” you will see snaking queue o taxis queuing around there to wait for passengers, and this causes obstruction to traffic!
This is a common sight at Jurong Point, Blk 109 Bukit Purmei and public taxi stands at MRT stations and CBD.
LTA, please install more cameras at these taxi stands, not only it will deter other vehicles parking at taxi stands, but also tackle those tacos that queued all the way out to the roads causing obstruction. Whenever the long queue of taxis waiting at taxi stand and Blk 109 Bukit Purmei, Jurong Point and Changi Airport, especially after 6pm because these money minded taxi drivers want to earn the $5 airport surcharge and peak hour surcharge, their selfishness and greediness causes massive traffic jam along the roads, and buses have got difficulty maneuvering around.
LTA please take actions, and taxi drivers, please do not obstruct the taxi stand and the leads as though it belongs to your family.
I am a freqeunt travelled on buses and with these lazy and idle taxi drivers queuing, it poses great danger to other motorists.
