After cases of Covid-19 were discovered to have moved from the Jurong Fishery Port to the Hong Lim Market, the Ministry of Health (MOH) is collaborating with the National Environment Agency (NEA) to test all fishmongers from all local markets.
The Ministry of Health warned on July 17 that the virus may spread to other marketplaces.
Antigen Rapid Test kits will also be distributed by NEA to fishmongers so that they may continue to check themselves. More information will be available soon.
Members of the public who attended Hong Lim Market & Food Centre between July 2 and July 16, 2021 would be eligible for free Covid-19 testing.
