A Malaysia registered lorry was trying to smuggle the good into Singapore when ICA officers directed the lorry for further checks.
They then uncovered chewing tobacco being hidden inside black rubbish bags, hidden in the cabin of the lorry, covered with a blanket.
The case has since been referred to the HSA for further investigations.
