Many people are worried about the Wuhan Corona COVID-19 Virus, but dengue is something we need to be wary as well. In 2019, there were 20 deaths in Singapore caused by Dengue.
According to NEA here are the statistics of those who caught the dengue for the last two weeks

The spike of dengue cases increasing is alarming and everyone in Singapore should do their part to prevent the breeding of mosquitos.

- Turn the pailÂ
• Tip the vaseÂ
• Flip the flower pot plateÂ
• Loosen the hardened soilÂ
• Clear the roof gutter and place Bti insecticide inside

• Sudden onset of fever for two to seven days
• Severe headache with retro-orbital (behind the eye) pain
• Joint and muscle pain
• Skin rash
• Nausea and vomiting
• Bleeding from the nose or gumsÂ
• Easy bruising of the skin
