According to a Police media release, a fight occurred on the 17 Jan during the wee hours at the vicinity of Boat Quay.

The Police were alerted at around 5.20 am of the incident.
A Facebook page claimed that it was a gang fight.
According to the Police, a 40-year-old man was conveyed to the hospital after the fight. Alot of blood was left at the crime scene. Photos are circulating on Whatsapp at 58 South Bridge road.
The area was cordoned off by the Police to protect the evidence. Investigations are ongoing
