AMOY FOOD CENTRE REOPENS WITH WALL FANS EVERYWHERE, AFTER RENOVATIONS

Amoy Street Food Centre at Telok Ayer has reopened yesterday following a 3-month long closure for renovations and repairs.

The new food centre now has better ventilation, with new wall fans and giant ceiling fans installed for a more cooling experience for patrons.

A netizen who visited the new food centre, Ng Chun Kiat, shared about his experience:

“FIRST LOOK AMOY STREET: Amoy Street Food Centre 厦门街小贩中心 has reopened! 

  • About 50% of all food stalls have started operating
  • Han Kee Fish Soup is still closed. Will reopen only after CNY holidays
  • Enjoying my favourite Roti Prata from Bismillah (#02-83) and Teh Peng from Bismi Tea Stall (#02-85)
  • Brand new KDK wall fans installed everywhere
  • New giant ceiling fans
  • New ceiling LED lights”
