A video emerged online showing a couple of Sembcorp Marine workers fighting.
This is following a fight that broke out between another group of Sembcorp Marine workers, with the company’s employees back in the limelight once again.
Scuffle
The video started off with the two men getting into an increasingly heated argument.
One of the men then presumably pointed a middle finger at the other guy, who then pushed his hand away.
The guy then pushed the other man and a scuffle broke out, with kicks seen flying.
The other man then punched the man in the face repeatedly, knocking him to the ground.
It is unclear where the incident happened or who the men were.
Fighting in public
For fighting in public, the two men face possible penalties under the offence of affray; where the public peace is disturbed by the fight in a public place.
Under section 267A of the Penal Code, they are liable to a jail sentence of up to 1 year and/or a maximum fine of $5,000 if found guilty.
