Previously Went Viral For Dance Years Ago
The Straits Times (ST) shed light on the organic origin of this delightful dance. House of Seafood’s owner, Mr. Francis Ng, played music whenever the Dancing Fire Chicken was served. Although staff were not obligated to dance, Madam Loh, driven by her own free spirit, took it upon herself to add a touch of joy to the dining experience.
Madam Loh Feng Ling, now 58, referred to herself as “just an auntie who loves to dance and gao xiao or make people laugh.” Her passion for dance was cultivated during her youth when she worked in a karaoke joint, providing a foundation for her spirited moves.
Embedded with the love for dancing, Madam Loh effortlessly sways to the beat, infusing House of Seafood with not just the flavors of delectable seafood but also the joy of spontaneous moments.
