
All 243 residents in block 559 in Pasir Ris Street 51 will be asked to go for swab tests after 4 different cases from 2 different households have been detected to have the Covid-19 virus.
One of the cases involves an 88-year-old Singaporean who works in Changi Airport Terminal 3 as a cleaner. He did not attend work after having symptoms on May 4.
The other 3 cases are from the same household. They include a 46-year-old Singaporean male who works as a swimming coach, a 47-year-old Singaporean housewife and a 12-year-old female student of White Sands Primary School.
Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC MP Desmond Tan has urged residents of block 559 to undergo a swab test to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents.
The location of the swab test will be at former Coral Primary School on 23-24 May from 9 am to 4 pm.
