The damage from the fire can be seen from the outside of the flat. SCDF has responded to a fire at Aljunied and was shocked when they found a burnt body inside a locked room.

SCDF officers were alerted to the case at 2pm on the 4th of December. Upon extinguishing the fire, they noticed that one of the rooms is locked. They broke in the room to find a body of a man, burnt within the room. The SPF was then alerted to the case.
The SPF has indicated that it is a case of unnatural death and are conducting their investigations while SCDF is looking for the source of the fire.
