CARGO DRIVER TO GO FOR COVID-19 TEST BEFORE ENTERING FROM CHECKPOINTS

Starting from Friday, 22 January 2021, all cargo drivers entering Singapore from Malaysia via the 2 checkpoints will be asked to go for COVID-19 test.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Thursday that, ” From 9am on Friday, COVID-19 antigen rapid testing will be progressively rolled out at the two checkpoints for cargo drivers and accompanying personnel entering Singapore

Only people who are tested negative will be allowed to enter Singapore, as there might be contacts with people that are currently in Singapore.

By using these safety precautions, it will help to protect and safeguard the people that are currently living in Singapore.

Possible delays for cargo coming in from Malaysia through land transport so for all Businesses out there do take note.
