Earlier today on 18 Jan, a cargo trailer over the height limit of 4.5m was driving along AYE (towards MCE) Clementi avenue 2 when it hit the bottom of a flyover bridge.

This incident created a massive jam at AYE.
According to Singapore law, any vehicle exceeding the height of 4.5m has to apply for the police escort, and depending on the size of the vehicle LTA must also be notified if it’s an oversized vehicle.
