MAN RECEIVES JOB OFFER: “OUR WORKPLACE IS VEGAN, YOU MUST BRING VEGAN LUNCH”

I was excited. I had just graduated with a degree in marketing and had been looking for the perfect job for the past few months. I was thrilled to find this position and was eager to get started.

But then I saw the fine print. The job offer stated that the workplace was vegan-only, meaning that I had to be a vegan if I wanted to take the job. This was a huge shock to me.

It said that the workplace was a vegan place, and that employees had to be vegan too. I couldn’t believe it!

I’m not vegan. In fact, I’m the exact opposite. I love eating meat and dairy products, and I can’t imagine my life without them. So this job offer was a complete surprise. I was so excited to start the job, but now I felt like I had been tricked.

I tried to argue with the human resources manager, but she wouldn’t budge. She insisted that the workplace was vegan, and all employees had to follow the same lifestyle. I was so frustrated, and I seriously considered quitting. I just couldn’t believe that I had to give up my favorite foods and lifestyle just to work at this place.

Here are what netizens think:

  • I will be a worktime vegan if the pay is good enough.
  • Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster, and the theory of Atlantis? If there’s a steady paycheck in it, I’ll believe anything you say.
  • this actually seems less annoying than forcing me to attend company team building events n stuff.
  • Most breads aren’t vegan, since they contain eggs and/or milk I think

GUY CALLED GF “MUMMY” AFTER SHE CALLED HIM A “GOOD BOY” WHEN THEY PIAK PIAK, CONFUSED

0

I found out I have a thing for mummies and I’m not sure what to do

So a few days ago when my girlfriend and I were getting intimate, I was guzzling on her bewbs like she always liked, but I was doing it gently and slower than usual, she was running her hands through my hair and she whispered “Just like that, You’re such a good boy”

I have never been harder in my entire life, as we got into It I accidentally let it slip and called her mommy, I dead stopped right there, scared she was going to laugh or push me off, but instead she kissed me and told me not to stop and to keep going.

I never thought I like something like that, I’ve never had any parental issues, both my parents are alive and together so I don’t know where it came from. It turns me on more than any other kink but it makes me feel..odd

Any advice?

Netizens’ comments

  1. it’s probably less about “mommy” and more about being a bit submissive. Roll with it.
  2. It sounds like you found something you both like! Keep it up!
The “feeling odd” is part of it. The taboo nature is part of it some of the time. Here you are, doing something that feels wrong but is also not only okay but exhilarating. That’s a pattern a lot of us can recognize!
By the way, acting something like this out does not mean anything about either of your orientations toward family members. It’s just an intimate and warm act.
  3. If you have a partner you can share it with and she is able to help you fulfill those needs, that sounds like a win/win… you don’t have to overthink it.
  4. Embrace it!!! Sounds like your girlfriend responded well, and ya never know, this could be the start of a whole new branch of intimacy between you two. Personally, I am dying to be the gf in this scenario.
  5. If you’re both into it, which it’s sounds like you are, then lean into it. Explore it. Enjoy it. Don’t let yourself shame yourself.

WOMAN WORKING 2 JOBS BUT SAVINGS STILL $0, BARELY EARNING ENOUGH TO COVER BILLS

0

I’m so tired of living paycheck to paycheck

For context I’m a 21 F living on my own where everything is crazy expensive. I had to give up a lot of things including school when my father abruptly sold our home, moved away over a year ago.

I have worked since 15 and always considered myself very independent. I currently work one full time job and one part time, I work 6 days a week usually 7 shifts.

I never have time for anything, nor money to even go out to dinner. I have had $0 in savings since the move and honestly feel like I’m drowning.

Most of my friends still live at home or with a partner splitting the bills, so no one really gets how hard this is on me. My friends always invite me out but I seriously can’t even afford to go out even though I’m 21.

You would think working six days a week I would have something to show for it or money to put in my savings or go on little trips but I am barely paying my bills.

I’ve maxed out my credit card and really don’t know what to do. My main job pays decently well and has full benefits so I really don’t want to let it go and it’s also in the field I love.

I constantly feel exhausted and I don’t have a support system to fall back on in case things go wrong. I had so many goals when I was younger and now my biggest stress is simply keeping a roof over my head. I am tired of this. Working to live or living to work?

Netizens’ comments

  1. Moving is expensive and the fact you have no savings would make it impossible. How much credit card debt have you accumulated?
  2. It’s a math problem to solve at the core. How do you spend less, make more, and develop disposable income? The emotional impact is very understandable but you’re gonna have to change something to change your results.
  3. I feel you, it’s getting more and more impossible to have enough for anything now. It’s more of a struggle to survive
  4. Times are tough. I’m a preschool teacher with a toddler. Not only 0$ in savings but sometimes negative as well.

DESPERATE GUY STRUGGLING WITH GIRLS, GAY FRIEND OFFER HIMSELF & HE ACCEPTS IT

0

Confused

Hi guys, need some advice here. So I consider myself as straight. However I always had a hard time with girls and it seems to be difficult to find a gf, often being friendzone.

I have this gay friend whom I confided in and he has always offered β€˜to satisfy me’, although I’ve rejected numerous times as I don’t like the idea.

However, recently after being turned down by a crush I was feeling down and when my gay friend offered a bj, I accepted it to feel better.

However, I declined to touch him back as β€˜I was not comfortable with touching another guy’. Now I’m confused because I have the urge to let him satisfy my needs but I still did not feel comfortable with touching him back or have any sexual desires about guys.

Am I considered bi or confused?

Netizens’ comments

  1. Even I am confused reading this. Means you are confused, too.
  2. Why you take advantage of your gay friend
  3. Ya. Must understand the reasons why you kena friend zone by girls. Most likely you bo money
  4. Just a temporary setback in life “confused”. Stop it and stop staying in touch. Move on with life – just be sociable, there are many gals out there.
  5. Maybe just desperate and he happened to meet your needs. I pity that friend of yours for being used like this, but hey.. his choice.. I just feel pity for both of you.
  6. You are considered “want to eat people, but don’t want to let people eat” type. Maybe thats why you don’t get any girls. Touch the guy back la. Don’t selfish.
  7. gays or not they are also just human beings. they can win your heart by pleasing your needs and they can also dump u after pleasing your needs. Think about it.
  8. If I were you, I think I would rather go Geylang to visit some prostitute. If she got pregnant then you marry her loh.

HUSBAND SNORES LOUDLY WHEN HE SLEEPS BUT FORCES WIFE TO SLEEP IN SAME ROOM

0

Partner snoring has destroyed my mental health

We have only been together 4 years. He refuses for us to sleep separately. He’s been for a sleep study he doesn’t have sleep apnea. He’s not over weight. He’s tried steroids, medication and nasal sprays nothing works.

He doesn’t let me touch him or move him when he sleeps and if I do he screams at me.

I haven’t slept properly in 4 years. Recently he went on holiday for 5 days and they were the most mentally sane I’ve felt in 4 years. It was the best 5 days of my whole life, I actually woke up happy.

I can’t believe I will spend the rest of my life in misery and exhaustion. I know it’s easy for people to give me different sleeping options, but people don’t understand how or why they’re not available to me.

Please believe me if I could sleep elsewhere then I would.

I’ve had anxiety and mental health issues for 7 years but it’s gotten a lot worse without sleep. I’m also constantly nauseous at work because my eyes are fighting to stay awake.

I’m so sad. I’m so sad that it doesn’t matter to him too. I’m so sad that’s it’s okay for him to wake me up every single hour of the night, but if I nudged him whilst going to the toilet I would be screamed at. I’m so sad that only his sleep matters.

Netizens’ comments

  1. A decent amount of sleep is vital to our wellbeing, and sleep deprivation is a known torture method.
You DON’T need to spend the rest of your life in misery and exhaustion. What you DO need to do is leave this man if he thinks you getting sufficient sleep isn’t important.
  2. …I mean, you don’t HAVE to spend the rest of your life in misery and exhaustion. I certainly wouldn’t want to spend my entire life with a partner who screams at me and refuses to β€œlet” me sleep in another room (why tf do you need hisΒ permission? what is he going to do to you if you just get out of bed and sleep on the couch? scream some more?)
  3. Sorry you’re sacrificing your mental/physical health to this issue. Have you considered wearing noise cancelling earmuffs/headbands suitable for sleep?
  4. The snoring isn’t the problem, it’s the person behind the snoring.

13 Y.O GIRL SPENT FAMILY’S $85K SAVINGS ON MOBILE GAMES, FOUND DEBIT CARD AT HOME

The detrimental effects of gaming addiction, especially among young children, are widely recognized. A recent incident in China has brought this issue to the forefront, involving a 13-year-old girl whose unchecked gaming habits led to devastating consequences.

Located in Henan province, China, the incident unfolded unbeknownst to the girl’s family. She came across a debit card at home and linked it to her smartphone, enabling payments for mobile games, according to ζ²³ε—εΉΏζ’η”΅θ§†ε°ζ°‘η”Ÿι’‘ι“ on DouYin.

Moreover, she knew the password, which her mother had shared as a precautionary measure in case she required money during their absence.

The situation came to light when one of the girl’s teachers noticed her excessive phone usage and suspected an addiction to online pay-to-play games. The teacher promptly informed the girl’s mother, surnamed Wang, about her concerns.

Wang decided to check her bank balance and was shocked to discover a mere 0.5 yuan (equivalent to S$0.095) in her account. In a video that has since gone viral, she presented the bank statements, documenting each transaction made.

The girl eventually confessed to spending 120,000 yuan (S$22,750) on game purchases and an additional 210,000 yuan (S$39,813) on in-game items after being confronted.

She had also spent 100,000 yuan (S$18,958) to buy games for at least ten of her classmates. The girl had intentionally deleted all transaction records from her phone, which kept her mother unaware of the situation until the teacher’s call.

The girl explained that she felt frightened due to her classmates’ persistent requests for games. However, she was too afraid to seek help from her teachers, fearing her parents’ anger and disappointment.

This incident has gained significant attention across China, leading to heated debates among netizens. Some argue that the girl, at her age, should have understood the consequences and immorality of her actions. On the other hand, many place the blame on the parents, raising questions about their supervision and guidance.

It serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of excessive gaming and the need for parents, educators, and society as a whole to address the issue of gaming addiction among children. By fostering awareness, open communication, and responsible usage of technology, we can strive to protect young minds from falling into such harmful habits.

S’PORE MAN BOOKED GRAB BUT CAR NOT MOVING, HUNTS DOWN DRIVER & FINDS HIM @ KOPITIAM EATING

0

I booked Grab Premium for my mother to go home because I was kinda tired to drive her home. Booking accepted by the grab premium driver and so we waited. After 6-7mins the vehicle is still at the same place not moving. What could have happened?

Maybe driver go toilet bad stomachache
Maybe one of his wheel punctured
Maybe bad traffic jam
Maybe inside his vehicle got ghost

Long story short so I decided to drive my mother to the driver instead and to find out what happened. As I always assumed (because this wasn’t my first experienced) the driver just wasting time enjoying his dinner and waiting for me to cancel his booking so that I will get the fine instead and he could profit from it. He was caught eating at a coffee shop beside the road where he parked his vehicle.

Why did you accepted my grab premium booking?

Lucky for me I decided to record this whole β€œgrab hunt” from the moment I left my carpark to the moment I caught him red handed leaving the coffee shop and entering his vehicle.

The moment I saw him entering his vehicle I quickly left my driver seat and confronted him while showing him my active grab booking. Oh boy he was stunned and all he could say was

β€œSir I don’t know”

He then quickly cancelled my grab booking and left.

After more than 20mins of this saga then only he cancelled my booking and I’m sure there are many times consumers have to cancel booking because of the waiting time β€œgrab driver no show”
The grab booking system is flawed when it comes to us the consumers and again this wasn’t my first similar experience.

Guys please help me tag Grab and hopefully grab will thoroughly review their booking procedures.

♦️I have the full video non edited continuous recording from carpark to the moment I confronted him.
