WOMAN HATES BEING PREGNANT, SAYS “PEOPLE ONLY SEE THE SURFACE”

0

i hate being pregnant and i wish it would end.

i’m nearly 37 weeks. I’m so close, but it doesn’t feel like there’s an end in sight. people love to say ‘pregnancy is beautiful’. whoever said that is a liar.

no one understands what you’re going through. you’re looked at as hormonal, dramatic and emotional. no one understands that your body is no longer yours, you don’t feel like yourself, you feel left out, your body won’t ever be the same, you have to go through a life-altering event just to get it over with.

the anxiety of hoping your baby is okay. the restrictions of your movements. the list of food that you’re not allowed to eat. it is never ending.

i feel like people only see the surface. the baby shower, gender reveal and bump pictures. but it’s so much more than that.

i HATE being pregnant. i truly do. i’m excited for my baby, but i want to feel like myself again. it’s almost over for me, but i know i won’t be the same after this experience. if you feel this way, please know you’re not alone.

The best is when people say “sleep now while you can.” It’s damn near impossible to sleep well with this freeloader that’s smashing your bladder flat while simultaneously kicking you in your cervix.

GUY ACCIDENTALLY SHOWS PHOTO OF GF WITHOUT ANYTHING ON TO SUPERVISOR

0

“I’m in this XYZ company and there is a lot of extra crap they have us do for the most simple things. One of those things is tagging something out.

In a nutshell tagging out is if you have to change a light bulb you turn the breaker off that gives power to the light and attach a danger tag to it.

However, before you can touch that switch you have to prove that the breaker you are tagging is the correct one to ensure you are not tagging the wrong thing which eventually will lead to further consequences.

Anyways I was beating off to photos of my gf the night before and they were still opened up on the photo app.

Fast forward to the day I was doing work on a filter and needed to tag out the fan right by it, the plaque didn’t match up to what the paper said.

If you see the plaque it makes sense, but on paper it doesn’t. I’m sure you can see where this is going, but I take a photo of the plaques because they weren’t letting me tag it out without proof.

I go to my supervisor and she is right behind me as i open the photos app to find my gf lying on bed and looking seductively without anything on.

I quickly closed the app and said awkwardly “*sups name* meet my gf *gfs name*” she replied with “I wish you just said that was a random girl”.

I contemplated telling my gf this hilariously awkward story, but she is shy and very well might die of embarrassment. I am just glad it was at least a woman who saw it if it had to be anyone, but man was I avoiding her gaze the rest of the week.”

YP TERROR ON A CRIME SPREE – PUSHED POLICEMAN, CHALLENGED OLD MAN TO 1V1, CHEATED BANK

0

Juvenile delinquency has once again captured headlines, shedding light on a disturbing case involving a teenager whose criminal exploits took a chaotic turn on an MRT train, among a slew of numerous offences, according to The Straits Times.

The accused, now 20 years old, pleaded guilty to using criminal force on a public servant, public nuisance and cheating; and he was supposed to be sentenced on 15 November but it was adjourned to 27 November instead.

He cannot be named as he was under 18 at the time of some of his offences, under the Children and Young Persons Act.

Introduction

At the tender age of 16, the youth embarked on a criminal journey orchestrated by a 20-year-old accomplice known in court documents as A2.

The scheme promised easy money to participants willing to relinquish control of their bank accounts for illicit activities, primarily online gambling.

A2 lured the teenager with promises of financial gain, offering $200 per month for each bank account that he gave the syndicate.

The boy agreed on 17 May 2020 and gave him control of his bank account, which the syndicate used for illicit transactions involving $477,000 in deposits and $473 in withdrawals.

The criminal enterprise involved at least 98 suspects and 170 bank accounts, with investigations still underway to uncover the full scope of the operation.

On 18 May 2020, after being told by A2 that he would give him another $200 per month if he opened a bank account with another bank for them to use, the boy agreed and went to open a bank account, lying to the bank officer that it was for his personal use.

IV. Unrelated Case

In an unrelated incident at Clarke Quay, the offender found himself in a dispute over a bar bill, leading to a scuffle with the police.

Following the dispute with the bar employees love the bill, the police were alerted when a fight broke out. Among the officers deployed was a 29-year-old policeman, who was shoved by the youth before being arrested and later released on bail.

V. MRT Train Incident

The chaos reached new heights when the teenager, seemingly intoxicated, boarded an MRT train. His disruptive behavior escalated to a confrontation with a 66-year-old man, where he not only threatened violence but also attempted physical harm.

He was disturbing the other commuters inside the train by speaking loudly to them but was largely ignored, before turning his attention to a 66-year-old man sitting nearby.

The victim then got up to alight at Kembangan MRT station when the accused then challenged him to a fight and used vulgarities on him.

He also tried to punch the elderly man but the victim dodged his blows and pushed him away, causing the accused to fall down as the other computers then stepped forward and pinned him down on the ground.

The SMRT staff were then alerted to the incident and he was then bought out of the station, before they called the police for help.

However, before the police could arrive, the boy had already fled the scene; but he was subsequently arrested soon after.

WOMAN CELEBRATING 32ND B’DAY BUT FEELS ALONE, NO FRIENDS TO CELEBRATE

0

Tomorrow is my 32nd birthday, and I’ve never felt more alone.

I will receive no birthday wishes, unless I announce on social media that it’s my birthday. I have no friends, let alone anyone that is willing to actually plan something for me.

I will spend the day in bed, watching whatever I can to take my mind off the day, and will overindulge in pizza when I’m already way overweight.

Life sucks and then one day you die.

Netizens’ comments

  • happy birthday. let this year be the one you realize you are the best company you can have and fuck everyone else.

and make sure you get yourself a cake. birthday cakes matter.

  • My birthday in December was spent alone, I had gone no contact with my father who tormented me in my youth, days prior, I did the same to my mother 15 years prior. My girlfriend passed from a brain tumor that same month. I sat in my room, alone, did nothing. I recieved no presents, and questioned why I was even alive. We all have our low points, just do whatever makes you happy for your day, make plans, don’t wait for others to make them. Buy a cake, your favourite kind. Watch some movies, ones you’ve seen dozens of times and still make you happy.

Happy birthday stranger.

Oh ya, do not worry about over indulging on your birthday, that’s the day you’re allowed to without guilt.

2 SPIZE OUTLETS KENA SAMAN $3.6K EACH FOR FOOD SAFETY LAPSES & CAUSING FOOD POISONING

Spize Bedok Pte. Ltd. and Spize Concepts Pte. Ltd. fined $3,600 each for multiple food safety lapses

Spize Bedok Pte. Ltd. and Spize Concepts Pte. Ltd, were fined $3,600 each by the court today for food safety lapses committed under the Environmental Public Health (Food Hygiene) Regulations.

2 In July 2022, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) received reports of gastroenteritis involving 15 persons after consuming food prepared by Spize’s food establishments, located along Bedok Road. None of them were hospitalised.

3 A joint investigation by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and SFA was conducted. Multiple food safety lapses were found at the western food stall located at 336/338 Bedok Road (licensed under Spize Bedok Pte Ltd). These include improper segregation of raw and cooked food at the serving station of the western food stall, and the use of a stained chopping board for cooked food. Other food safety lapses were also found at the foodshop located at 284 Bedok Road (licensed under Spize Concepts Pte Ltd), including the failure to provide hand soap in the kitchen toilet and the unauthorised use of the premises for food processing.

4 In the interest of public health, SFA directed Spize Bedok Pte. Ltd. and Spize Concepts Pte. Ltd to rectify the lapses and take necessary measures to improve the food safety practices and the cleanliness of its premises. SFA has also adjusted food hygiene grades of the western food stall at 336/338 Bedok Road and food shop at 284 Bedok Road from “A” to “C”.

5 Food safety is a joint responsibility as food can be contaminated anywhere along the food chain. While SFA continues to be vigilant and works to ensure that regulatory measures are in place and properly enforced, the industry and consumers must also play their part.

6 All food operators should ensure that their premises are clean and well-maintained, and staff are adequately trained on proper food safety management. SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act. Offenders are liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $100 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction.

7 Members of the public who come across poor hygiene practices in food establishments are advised not to patronise them and provide feedback via our online feedback form (www.sfa.gov.sg/feedback) with details for our follow-up investigations.

BUS HITS 2.1-METRE TALL OVERHEAD SIGN @ CHANGI AIRPORT, KNOCKS WHOLE THING DOWN

0

On a seemingly ordinary Tuesday (14 Nov), an unusual incident occurred at Changi Airport’s Terminal 1 (T1) that raised eyebrows and disrupted the usual flow of traffic. The incident involved a private bus and an unfortunate collision with overhead signage leading to T1’s carpark.

The bus has collided with the overhead sign and caused it to collapse, according to Shin Min Daily News.

According to reports, the accident resulted from a misjudgment by the private bus driver, who seemingly miscalculated the height of the overhead signage.

The Accident Scene

The aftermath of the accident was promptly shared on the Facebook group SG Road Vigilante. Several images showcased the purple bus parked along the left lane of the road leading towards the Terminal 1 carpark.

The severity of the situation was evident from the state of the signage, indicating a collision with the left side of the overhead sign.

Traffic police officers were quick to respond, ensuring the safety of oncoming vehicles by directing them away from the affected lanes.

Despite the swift response from authorities and efforts to clear the affected lanes, normal traffic flow only resumed after a three-hour delay.

Signage Details

A crucial aspect of the incident revolves around the details of the overhead signage. The sign explicitly states that vehicles taller than 2.1 meters are prohibited from traveling along the lane. This vital piece of information sets the stage for understanding how the accident transpired.

The accident unfolded around 2 pm on Tuesday (14 Nov). Shin Min Daily News reporters arrived at the scene approximately two and a half hours later, finding the lanes leading to the arrival halls still blocked. Normal traffic flow resumed only at 5 pm, underscoring the impact of the incident on airport operations.

40 Y.O MAN STILL TAKES $8,000 ALLOWANCE FROM PARENTS

0

Just what it says. I’ve been interested in someone. He’s 40 yo. Lives at home. I have recently found out that he takes money from his parents. Not monthly allowance but every 3-4 months one of his parents’ FD accounts matures and they ‘give’ him the interest. It’s over $8k each time.

He works part-time like 30 hours a week (more like 15 cos he only works when there is assignments, most of the time he is on standby)cos he wants more time to pursue his hobbies. He takes home around $2k per month. His company has asked him many times to take more hours but he doesn’t want to.

He doesn’t give his parents any money though he lives in their flat and his mum buys everything for him including vitamins, daily food and snacks, all his meals, soap, shampoo, etc. He doesn’t do any chores.

His parents even gave him the master bedroom cos he is now ‘grown up’. They are middle class, his mum still works but wakes up early every morning to make or heat up a huge breakfast for him and usually buys his dinner. He will skip lunch so he has more disposable income for hobbies.

Personality-wise he’s fun, easy to take to and we have a similar sense of humour and hobbies. I enjoy his company alot.

But long term, do you think someone like this would make a good partner? I’m concerned that a 40yo guy who has never been responsible for himself and spends all his earnings on expensive hobbies, well he hasn’t ‘proven’ himself to be responsible yet.

Some examples of his behaviour with me are forgetting to pay me back when I pay for meals, offering to buy me dinner at coffee shops but when we share a normal meal that is 50-50 he will want to go to cafes and restaurants, he won’t attend movies or plays or music shows with me if it’s something he doesn’t like, unless I buy his ticket cos he doesn’t want to pay for stuff that he’s just going to keep me company. He will usually announce something that he’s interested in and ask me if I have time to book cos he’s busy, yet I work longer hours than him. He doesn’t send me home unless it is convenient for him ie not a detour at all.

I feel that I’m being so money minded and calculative by thinking this way. But at the same time I feel that he wants to find someone who is like his mother, always supplementing his lifestyle with money and labour??

WOMAN’S FIANCE GOT VIOLENT WITH HER FOR THE FIRST TIME, FEELS LOST

0

My fiancé (32M) got violent with me (28F) for the first time. We are supposed to be getting married this month

I desperately need advice, I’ve been sitting on the floor crying for an hour because I have no idea what to do.

My fiancé who I have been with for 8 years got violent with me for the first time today. We were arguing when he suddenly grabbed me by the throat and pinned me against the wall. It all happened really fast.

He immediately apologised, asked if I was okay and then told me he needed to go for a drive to calm down. He isn’t back yet.

We’re supposed to be getting married on the 17th of this month.

I know the most obvious thing would be to cancel the wedding and leave him but ONE incident over the course of 8 years – is that really worth losing all the money spent on this wedding?

Is it worth losing the man that I love? I feel like I can’t think clearly. How am I supposed to deal with this situation?

Netizen’s comments

Cancel the wedding at the very least if you are not ready to leave him. But I suggest to get some distance at least or just leave him. The fact that it happened for the first time after a long time is not a guarantee that he won’t so it again.

Then therapy or whatever for the both of you. You might need help to get through what he did and he certainly needs it.
