GUY BROKE HIS HAND ON PURPOSE TO CHAO GENG FROM WORK & STILL GET PAID

0

I broke my hand on purpose to avoid going to work but still get paid.

I worked as an agent in a call center. I hated that job. It was overwhelming, everyone would just call and complain.

It was a Sunday night. And after a soothing weekend. I did not want to go to back go work. The only way to avoid going to work and still get paid is to provide a sick-leave attested from the hospital.

I already had a tough week and I was going through a lot. I was mentally Exhausted! As time was passing rapidly, I desperately wanted to skip work on Monday.

I was so desperate that I was was trying to get myself sick However, getting sick only lands you a 1 approved day sick leave.

Then that’s when I got the IDEA to break my hand. I got a spray to kill bugs and a perfume and sprayed the PIFPAF on my hand so I couldn’t feel anything and took the perfume bottle and jacked my hand with it for 5 times constantly.

At first, I did not feel a thing, because the bug spray caused my hand to be numb, then I tried moving my hand but I couldn’t move my hand and it started to pain and my hand started to swell. Like really really bad.

I drove to the hospital and was xrayed. Nothing was broken, just dislocated. I ended up getting a 15 days paid sick leave. I missed 2 weeks of work !

Was it worth it? Yes. Would I do it again. Definitely. Recommend. No. Stay safe kids!

42 Y.O FATHER-OF-2 KILLED IN CRASH WHILE RIDING TO S’PORE FOR WORK, DECLARED DEAD AT SCENE

0

In a tragic turn of events on Thursday (23 Nov), a Malaysian father, Phang Kok Yong, met with a fatal accident in Johor Bahru, leaving behind his wife and two daughters.

Background of the Deceased

Phang Kok Yong, a 42-year-old resident of Johor Bahru, had been commuting to Singapore for work for the past two years. Initially, his trips were limited to Sundays, but recent changes in his routine had him traveling twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Details of the Accident

The unfortunate incident occurred around 12.30 am near a split road in front of Danga City Mall. Mr. Phang was en route to Singapore when the accident transpired. The lack of clarity regarding the circumstances has added to the family’s distress.

Yunice, Mr. Phang’s daughter, shared poignant details about her father’s personality and the significant role he played in their lives. The family is grappling with the emotional challenges of accepting the sudden loss.

Appeal for Dashcam Footage

Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that Mr. Phang lost control of his motorcycle. However, operational issues with traffic cameras have left investigators without surveillance footage. Yunice, on the other hand, asserts that eyewitnesses claim a drunk man collided with her father’s vehicle.

Divergent narratives between the police and the family raise questions about the accuracy of information. While the official report points to a loss of control, Yunice revealed that eyewitnesses recounted seeing a drunk driver hitting her father’s vehicle.

The autopsy reveals that Mr. Phang’s cause of death was internal injuries, yet the specific organs affected remain unclear. This ambiguity intensifies the mystery surrounding the accident.

Social Media Appeal

With no access to surveillance footage, Yunice has taken to social media, appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

RETIRED DAD STAYS HOME 24/7, KEEPS THROWING AWAY FAMILY’S STUFF

0

How to deal with family members who keep throwing away my stuff?

Dad retired a few years ago and is now staying home 24/7. I’m guessing due to the long hours at home, he is getting frustrated with the “mess” at home and it starting to clear things bit by bit.

Ok granted our house is not the neatest, but it’s very much liveable (3 of us are always out, we’re too tired to deal with any housework.)

I can’t understand: he could have just cleared his own stuff (yes a ton of it). Why tf does he keep throwing our stuff???

Once he threw away an old sewing machine (worth 100+, passed down from prev gen) and that really made mom REALLY mad.

She demanded him to pay her back but obv this strategy does not work.

Idk?? Isit coz we are living in a house under his name so he feels he can do anything to our space??? I thought of locking the door but I don’t want to create any hostility within the family?

And how tf do I lock the living room space???

Please share if any of yall have similar experiences.

I’m writing this as my blood boils, please be nice 🙂

  • Throw away the dad
  • Posted about this in the past. I also had parents who just throw away my stuff without asking, sometimes things that are irreplaceable. For instance, boxes for some expensive figurines I bought, which had all the alternative heads, hands and weapons inside. Those accesories can’t be bought separately and the figures themselves cost well into the hundreds.

Unfortunately talking to them did not really work as they very much believe in “my house, my rules” philosophy. After that incident, I took to keeping away my important stuff in locked drawers and also labelling boxes “Do-Not-Throw”. I did consider locking my door but similarly, I think it will be too hostile.

In a startling incident in Singapore, a driver named Alvin has claimed that his car has been deliberately scratched five times by a taxi driver following a verbal altercation after he had asked the cabby to give way, according to a report by Mothership.

The initial encounter

On August 15, 2023, Alvin encountered the taxi driver at a multi-storey car park along Ang Mo Kio Street 31. A video shared by Alvin captured the initial encounter, where he and his wife politely requested the taxi driver to give them more space.

However, the situation escalated as the taxi driver reportedly made sarcastic remarks and ignored their request, leading to a confrontation.

Subsequent incidents

Shockingly, the incident did not end with the verbal exchange. The taxi driver purportedly returned on multiple occasions (Aug. 18, Aug. 29, Sep. 7, Oct. 30, Nov. 11) to allegedly scratch Alvin’s car.

Alvin, concerned for his safety, took preventive measures by installing additional cameras and filing police reports after the third and fifth incidents.

To address the issue, Alvin promptly filed police reports after each incident, seeking justice for the alleged vandalism.

What to do if your vehicle has become a victim of vandalism

  1. Stay Calm: It can be upsetting to discover vandalism, but try to stay calm and focused.
  2. Ensure Safety: If the vandalism poses a safety risk, such as broken glass, be cautious when approaching the vehicle. If necessary, keep a safe distance and call the authorities.
  3. Document the Damage: Take photos or videos of the damage. This will be useful for insurance purposes and when reporting the incident to the police.
  4. Contact the Police: Report the vandalism to the local police. Provide them with all the information you have, including any documentation of the damage.
  5. Contact Your Insurance Company: Call your insurance company as soon as possible to report the incident. Provide them with the details and the documentation you gathered. They will guide you through the claims process.
  6. Repair Estimates: Obtain repair estimates from reputable auto repair shops. Your insurance company may require these for processing your claim.
  7. Follow Insurance Procedures: Cooperate with your insurance company and follow their procedures for filing a claim. They will guide you on the next steps.
  8. Consider Surveillance Footage: If your car was parked in an area with security cameras, inform the police and your insurance company. They may be able to use the footage to identify the vandal.
  9. Notify Neighbors: If the vandalism occurred in a residential area, inform your neighbors. They may have witnessed the incident or have useful information.
  10. Prevent Future Incidents: Consider taking measures to prevent future vandalism, such as parking in well-lit areas or installing a security camera if possible.

S’PORE PRISONER ESCAPED DURING “WORK-RELEASE SCHEME” & WENT ON CRIME SPREE, RE-ARRESTED

0

In a shocking turn of events, a 36-year-old prisoner, Muhammad Noor Indra Hamzah, managed to escape while under a work release scheme at Selarang Park Community Supervision Centre (SPCSC), setting off a chain of criminal activities that spanned over three months.

This daring escapade, was fraught with car theft, drug-induced accidents, and a dramatic encounter with law enforcement, as he embarked on a crime spree.

The Great Escape

Muhammad’s disappearance on Aug 13, 2022, marked the beginning of an alarming saga. Under the work release scheme, he was permitted to leave the SPCSC for employment purposes but failed to return that fateful evening, eluding both authorities and his reintegration officer.

As a fugitive, Muhammad resorted to unconventional living arrangements, sleeping in public places such as staircases. The blend of perplexity and burstiness in his actions kept authorities on their toes, trying to predict his next move while grappling with the unpredictability of his fugitive lifestyle.

During his months on the run, Muhammad’s actions escalated from evading authorities to engaging in a series of criminal offenses. The theft of a car, driving without a license, and a drug-induced crash resulting in injuries to innocent bystanders painted a grim picture of his disregard for the law.

The Drug-Fueled Crash

Muhammad’s drug-induced crash on Tuas South Avenue 3 left three individuals injured, highlighting the dangers of combining substance use with driving. His use of Dormicum, a medication inducing sleepiness, showcased the potential hazards associated with drug consumption, especially in situations requiring alertness and responsibility.

Muhammad’s daring attempt to flee Woodlands Checkpoint on Nov 13, 2022, further intensified the gravity of his actions. Driving against traffic and narrowly avoiding a collision with a bus, he demonstrated a blatant disregard for the safety of others and the consequences of his recklessness.

The climax of Muhammad’s crime spree involved a violent encounter with a car salesman. After damaging two vehicles, he threatened the salesman with a knife, leaving a trail of fear and destruction in his wake. This incident underscores the importance of addressing the underlying issues that led to such violent outbursts.

Arrest and Drug Seizure

Muhammad’s run came to an end on Nov 27, 2022, after a confrontation with law enforcement. His arrest in the Punggol area, accompanied by the seizure of methamphetamine packets, showcased the collaborative efforts of the public and the police in bringing a fugitive to justice.

Legal Repercussions

On Nov 24, 2022, Muhammad faced the consequences of his actions, being convicted on 13 charges, including dangerous driving, failure to comply with immigration directions, and criminal intimidation. An additional 10 charges are set to be considered during his sentencing on Dec 12, adding to the severity of his legal predicament.

TWO CONSTRUCTION WORKERS FIGHTING, OTHERS BUSY WATCHING NO ONE STOP

0

In the heart of construction productivity, chaos erupted as two construction workers engaged in a heated brawl, while others on the site stood by, captivated by the spectacle. What unfolded was not just a physical altercation but a blatant disregard for safety, made even more absurd by the inaction of the safety officer.

Unsafe Showdown Unfolds

The construction site, usually a hub of organized activity, witnessed an unprecedented scene. Two workers, embroiled in a dispute, resorted to physical violence. Shockingly, instead of swift intervention, the safety officer, the designated guardian of workplace well-being, did the unthinkable – he not only watched the altercation but also filmed it.

A Disturbing Lack of Intervention

The norm in any workplace, especially a construction site, is to prioritize safety above all else. However, on this occasion, the safety officer failed to uphold this fundamental duty. His role is not merely to observe but to actively ensure the well-being of every worker on the site. By choosing to be a spectator, he not only jeopardized the safety of those involved in the altercation but compromised the entire team’s well-being.

Here are what netizens think:

  • Useless Safety Personnel there.
  • Deportation in progress
  • Another day another fight. I have been entertained I can sleep well tonight. Thanks
  • This is more entertaining than KSI VS TOMMY FURY

  • Deport both of them
  • They thinking they are watching the real action movie
  • Ali baba Supervisor and safety officer
  • whoever wins get to go home
  • Nobody tried to even separate them from continue fighting,.ao comfortably record for the sake of posting in sofoal media, we are living in a sick world.

Public fighting

According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.

Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.

GUY SAYS HE’S A PSYCHOPATH BUT BLENDING IN WITH SOCIETY

0

I’m a psychopath and manage it well.
Before you judge, in which I’m guessing it’ll happen lol google psychopath. Because people often confuse psychopath and sociopath. They are not the same.

I’ve never told anyone this, not family not friends.

Backstory… I didn’t grow up conventional. Like really unconventional. Though nobody has a normal life…mine was different. When i tell people and they meet my family. Their eyes widen and i can see in their expression that they don’t know how to feel. Generally most people accept it. The ones that don’t, well grew up normal lol.

I was a pretty chill and calm kid. I didn’t grow up in violence. But it was pretty normalized within my family. In the sense i was taught to stand up for myself. I took that pretty literally as a kid. If you have to fight, do what you have to do to win. If that meant taking a pipe to their legs, well you gotta do it. But i was told never to start fights.

I was tormented by the other kids and I learned a lot from it. I was also taught the world is a cruel place. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I was very perceptive and acknowledged this as a reality.

I noticed i was different when I was about 7 years old. I didn’t really like to talk a lot. I didn’t really realize until i was older that i didn’t have a tolerance for others. Like family would talk to me and I remember thinking to my self will they shut up, i don’t care. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etcetera…they would call me shy because i didn’t talk. I just didn’t have patience for their crap. I would just play along , nod, fake laugh, so on.

I didn’t feel for friends really. I was always the odd duck. Even within my family i was odd. I don’t even recall how i made friends. It didn’t make sense to me but i oddly fit in the popular crowds. I didn’t help i was an attractive kid. I really hated all of the attention, it would drive me insane. I would just conform because i saw thats what other kids wanted. So i would copy my friends to fit in the best i could. Honestly didn’t really care for them or anyone.

It was hard for me to care about my family and friends as the years went on. To the point that i just didn’t care if i didn’t keep in contact. Generally speaking, they all contact me. Otherwise i wouldn’t bother.

I noticed i could use my lack of emotion to my advantage. I picked up on this in maybe 8th or 9th grade. I would manipulate others for my gain. I was really good at it. They still have no idea the things i would do for my benefit. Yet i could easily hide i was lying to them. I would recreate emotions through many hours of practice. I would watch others. Whether it was anger, crying, happiness, sadness etcetera.. i would mimic their behavior.

I would keep my violent thoughts in my head because i acknowledged there are consequences. I would have these thoughts and I would never act out on them.

When i hit maybe my young adulthood, i really noticed i had no regard for others. I could care less about people and their feelings. That i was so intrigued i joined psychology class because i wanted to see if i could figure out what was wrong with me. I learned so much about the human brain. I had textbooks full of knowledge i could use. I would emulate different behaviors. It was amazing to me.

Within all of this time i did have a plethora of relationships with girls. Dated popular girls, hooked up with older women, one of my girlfriend’s moms., i liked the pleasure of intercourse. I did end up getting married. I oddly was able to care about someone. I dunno maybe because she was someone so different than myself. Though i do slip up from time to time for not having emotions for certain things i do my best to make her happy. We have four children together who I’d absolutely die for . It was like a switch flipped when i had them. That i could actually care for something that i developed really real feelings for their mother. That if anyone hurt her, i would put their hand in a blender.

I hide myself pretty well. People just think I’m that quiet guy who keeps to himself. It has it’s pros and cons. I have to remind myself to tell my wife things, give her compliments, act in manners i see as pointless. But i do care and love her.

It’s been quite the life. Just blending in.

SINGER SNATCHES AUDIENCE’S PHONES & THROWS IT ON FLOOR DURING S’PORE CONCERT

0

English rock band Suede recently took the stage at The Star Theatre, sharing the billing with the Manic Street Preachers. With this being their eighth performance in Singapore, the anticipation among fans was palpable.

Suede’s recurrent visits indicate a robust fanbase in Singapore. The band’s history in the region sets the stage for the events that unfolded during their recent performance.

Fans wanted to take videos

In an era where memories are often captured with smartphones, the allure of recording live experiences is undeniable. The act of preserving moments has become a cultural norm, especially during significant events like live concerts.

However, the lead singer, Brett Anderson, had a different perspective. A video posted on Instagram showed Anderson grappling with a male concertgoer, seemingly attempting to snatch his phone. This incident marked the beginning of a series of encounters between Anderson and fans.

Grabbed fans’ phones

Anderson’s actions were unexpected. He leaped into the audience, grabbing phones from fans attempting to capture selfies. The singer expressed his disdain for smartphone usage during live performances, making a bold statement against the prevalent trend.

Returning to the stage, Anderson directly addressed the audience. He urged fans to put their phones down, emphasizing that the experience would be “so much better” without constant recording. He directed those eager to film to move to the back, ensuring the front row was reserved for those wanting an immersive experience.

Netizens debate

The crowd’s response was mixed. While some appreciated Anderson’s stance, others felt it encroached on their right to capture memories. This incident raised questions about the evolving dynamics between artists and their smartphone-wielding audience.

WOMAN CLAIMS SHE WAS ATTACKED AT TAMPINES HUB, NO ONE HELPED HER

On 23 Nov 2023, between 21:00-21:10 , at the traffic light junction in front of Tampines Hub , I was attacked and assaulted violently by a stranger. A middle age male, assumably Chinese ethnicity. I was waiting at the traffic light junction, a stranger male as mentioned above started talking to me asking if I heard of someone shouting, and I answered him “ yes, I think so”. He then turned angry and started giving me an angry stare followed by cursing and swearing at me. I asked what is wrong with him? And I quickly crossed the traffic when the light turned green.

He followed me closely and started pushing me violently in the middle of the road. He pushed me harder and harder till I fell on middle of the road. I was fortunate that the cars were stopping for traffic , otherwise I would land in horrible scenario.

I was injured , scratches on my hands and legs, my phone was broken , no passer by was to help me nor to stop this violent man continuing his assault to me. He just walked away and I tried my best to get up and chased after him so that I could film his face and find justice for myself. He was startled for a brief moment and then he pushed me again and wanting to have a fight with me. He tried to film me too and then walked away quickly when my phone was filming him directly.

I have a the video showing clearly of this violent attacker and I took a photo on my injuries when I reached home after the incident. I couldn’t believe this happened to me in Singapore, one of the safest countries in the world . Please help me to catch this attacker, he is endangering society by his actions. Police report filed.
