MAN’S FIANCEE DUMPED HIM JUST 1 WEEK AGO, ALREADY WANTS TO MOVE IN WITH NEW BF

0

My ex fiancee left me a week ago, and she already wants to move in with her new boyfriend.

I’m just hurt. I’m still in close contact with her mom, her mom has been there for me through our entire break up. We both had no idea she was going to leave me, it was like a bomb.

One of my friends works at the same place she does, and noticed that she and another guy were talking and chatting it up consistently.

I put it aside, thinking oh maybe they’re just friends. I asked her about it, she said not to worry about it they’re just friends.

She kept acting like everything was fine, came to see me, kissing, hugging, all the normal things a couple would do. (She always knew how to get my motor running by calling me things).

One day after work she came over to say hi, acted like everything was great. Like she was happy and everything. I told her I never wanted to lose her, I loved her more than anything. “You won’t ever lose me. I promise.”

She got back home to her parents house (she and her kids were kicked out of her apartment beforehand…like a month beforehand.)

We tried but failed to get a place together, next thing I know, she says she wants a break.

“What the f.” I think to myself…I told her no. “You did this once already in our relationship, we’re going to work on this.”

“I don’t want to. I need a break. You’re too down lately.” Of course I am, I’m trying to get us a place to live together, it’s hard and I’m a little bit sad at this point.

She left me. Then I found out from my friend she was caught making out with the guy she told me not to worry about at work. Turns out, this has been going on for a lot longer than a week…

I broke down. It’s so hard to believe that she would do that to me. It still hurts.

Now her mom is telling me she’s trying to move in with the new guy. So obviously, I meant nothing to her. But she meant everything to me, and it’s so hard living without her…

WOMAN BECAME SUCCESSFUL & ALL THE MEN WHO USED TO REJECT HER, NOW WANT HER

0

I’m so tired of people trying to date me now that I’m successful and married

So, to start, I used to be a fat lady. School was hard – a lot of people would keep me around as an option, and some even had pretty strong feelings for me, but wouldn’t date me because I was chubby and they wanted someone more attractive. That’s fair and they’re entitled to their dating preferences, I don’t resent them for that.

What I do resent is all of these people that rejected me back then coming out of the woodwork now, a decade later.

I’ve been successful in life – I have a great job where I get to travel the world, I’m married to the most incredible person I’ve ever met, and we’re deeply in love!

We have a good life, zero debt, wonderful pets and amazing adventures. We’re not rich, but we’re not living paycheck to paycheck.

My partner is truly my soul mate – we are a team and we support each other in our personal and professional goals.

Every. single. person. that rejected me has slid into my DMs or called me, saying “I should’ve dated you when I had the chance!”

One called me the night before my wedding, asking me to cancel it. A couple have asked me to get a divorce or cheat on my partner to be with them.

One guy semi regularly gets drunk and DMs me from fake accounts, asking me to “remember the night we spent together!” as though an evening of lackluster f-ing would make me leave my spouse. How dare they?

To be clear, no one has to date me if they don’t want to. That’s ok. But do these people truly think they’re God’s gift to the point where a lady that had a crush on them over a decade ago would blow up her life just for a chance to get with them? There’s also this weird undercurrent of them wanting my financial support now that I’m succeeding.

F that. Who do these people think they are? Do they honestly, truly think I’d leave my spouse just for the chance to date (and bankroll) them?

GUY’S COLLEAGUES SPREADING RUMOR THAT HE PIAK HIS FEMALE BOSS TO GET PROMOTED

0

Colleague is spreading rumours that I slept with the director for a promotion. What should I do?

Context: I am the only guy in a department with 4 other ladies. 1 director 2 managers (Colleague 1 and me) 2 executives (Colleagues 2 and 3)

Additional background information: Colleague 1: Was in charge of my training and she was mostly unapproachable and was unhappy when I asked her to clarify certain processes.

Hence, I put in the effort to learn the ropes step by step by myself. She has always been unhappy with me as my director will openly praise my work and make a direct comparison with her work.

I received a promotion in July which was part of a counteroffer from the director. The director has made the decision as I had helped out a few big projects.

Last week, I overheard Colleague 3 chatting with Colleague 1; and she was spreading rumors that I only received the promotion as the director was sleeping with me. They have now formed a clique with Colleague 2 and stopped inviting me out for lunch.

After my promotion, they will deliberately stall their reports which lead to me chasing them for their reports for submission.

Even when submitted, the reports contained multiple errors which I had to fix as it would take too long to send it back to them for correction.

This has already happened multiple times and, they ignored my feedback saying, “Since you are so good at it, it would be better if you do it all by yourself”.

I have no issues with cleaning up their work but their replies are starting to get to me as it has become a frequent occurrence.

Please advice if I should stay on in the job or start looking for a new job? The notice period for this role is about 2 months. The bonus period is right around the corner in December as well, so I’m torn if I should stay until then.

I am at a loss about what to do and feel really unhappy about this situation since it happened about 3 weeks ago.

Having lost sleep over this betrayal since I thought Colleague 3 was a close friend of mine before I found out about the badmouthing.

Nowadays I have trouble sharing anything with colleagues from other departments as well, as the thought of being betrayed again still haunts me.

Understand the importance of mental health but I am afraid of being unable to find a job during this period, with the approaching holidays. Any advice would be appreciated.

MAN’S COLLEAGUE KEEPS ASKING HIM TO BUY THINGS FOR HER, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT CLOSE

0

Colleague has the habit of asking me to buy stuff when I go on holiday

This colleague of mine has this habit of asking me to get things for her whenever I’m on holiday. Egg tarts rolls in Taiwan (oh, my aunt loves them), face-roller massager in Japan (oh, we don’t have this anymore in Singapore Daiso; pls get five), medical ointment in Thailand (we don’t have this in Singapore).

It’s not like she doesn’t travel! I think it’s uncool to always trouble people, and it’s a bad habit which I’m beginning to find rather annoying.

We are not even that close to begin with. Personally I woud never trouble friends or colleagues, not even family members while they are on holiday!

I wanna tell her I’m going to stop getting stuff for her, but I’m at a loss on how to broach the topic…..

Netizens’ comments

  1. Just don’t get it.
I used to have a colleague like this once. She will kaypoh and try to find out whoever is travelling in my company and ask them to get this or that. Worse, she will actually email and text you to REMIND you to get it.
I will always say I’ll try or only if I happen to see it and then forget about it totally. If she pester me after I come back, I’ll just tell her I was too busy to go shopping or I forgot.
Do it a few times she will stop and eventually ask someone else to do it.
You probably did it for her before and that’s why she kept asking.
  2. I had a friend who had this habit of doing that. Worse, he only pops out when he needs us to buy this buy that and then pass it off to his relatives.
I asked him to pay upfront first, didn’t buy the items, and delayed paying him back as long as I could.
Needless to say he stopped asking me to buy stuff after that.
  3. stand up for yourself la… gosh. say no. if you scared, then say no I don’t have luggage space

WOMAN SICK OF BF NOT HAVING ENOUGH STAMINA IN BED TO “FINISH HER OFF”

0

My boyfriend doesn’t have enough strength or stamina to finish me off and it’s frustrating.

For some background, me and my boyfriend have been together for seven, almost eight months now and have been sleeping together for about three.

This is our first serious relationship we’ve ever been in. I love my boyfriend, who we’ll call T for the time being, and wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world.

T cares for me and treats me like no one else has. He is the only person I’ve trusted enough to see my body, or truly become one with me. Everything has been great. Outside of the bedroom, at least.

When me and him try to do anything, he is the only one who finishes. You know, what most women deal with. I don’t hate him for it, because he’s trying unlike a lot of other men.

If anything he’s a lot more gracious in the bedroom than I am. The thing is, no matter how hard he tries, he can’t stick it out.

Oral? Fifteen minutes tops. Fingering? Ten minutes if I’m lucky. Penetration? Probably a lost cause, because it’s usually over in five.

Everything gets too tired or starts cramping or is too hard to do and I was understanding at first, but frankly it’s getting frustrating. For him too. It makes him feel really bad about himself. and I can really see that he is trying his hardest but sometimes it is what it is.

I don’t want to sound selfish, and I don’t want to sound like I’m only in it for intercourse because I’m not. I love him. I want to show him the most intricate and intimate parts of myself. The pleasure is honestly just a plus!

If anyone has any suggestions or tips PLEASE, PLEASE tell me. I’m getting desperate at this point.

Seven Individuals Charged for Allegedly Performing or Abetting Illegal Employment Offences

On 26 September 2023, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) charged four foreigners with four counts of allegedly working illegally as food delivery riders in Singapore without valid work passes. Two Singaporeans and one Permanent Resident (PR) were also charged with three counts of alleged abetment of these offences. They had purportedly provided the foreigners with access to their accounts on various food delivery platforms, despite being aware that the foreigners did not have valid work passes to work as food delivery riders. These are offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA).

The individuals and their respective charges are as follows:

MOM has been engaging the major food delivery platforms to enhance their processes and prevent the misuse of accounts by unauthorised parties. Penalties for Illegal Employment

Foreigners who are self-employed without a valid work pass may be liable to a fine not exceeding $20,000, imprisonment for up to two years, or both. Upon conviction, they will be permanently barred from working in Singapore.

WOMAN DEAD AFTER COSMETIC SURGERY WENT WRONG, UNLICENSED DOCTOR ON THE RUN

0

The illegal, unlicensed beautician responsible for an ill-fated chest enhancement procedure that resulted in the tragic death of a 29-year-old housewife in Malaysia, remains at large and on the run, according to The Star.

What happened?

She visited a self-proclaimed aesthetician in Mutiara Rini, Johor, for just a simple face lift procedure at first, but was convinced by the “aesthetician” to undergo a hyaluronic acid bust enhancement injection.

Chen’s decision to proceed with the procedure was met with unforeseen and devastating consequences. Soon after the injection, she experienced excruciating chest pains that escalated to severe discomfort in her chest, back, and legs. Ignoring these alarming symptoms, she attributed them to normal post-procedure effects.

The next day at about 12pm, Chen’s condition deteriorated rapidly. Her chest pains intensified, leading her to seek medical attention at a nearby clinic.

There, doctors discovered elevated levels of anesthesia and other substances in her body, revealing a precarious state of health. Her situation grew graver, necessitating transfer to a hospital at Iskandar Puteri.

Chest was “full of bacteria”

Chen’s anguish persisted, spreading to her back and legs, rendering her unable to walk. Her desperate fight for survival culminated in a transfer to the intensive care unit.

Despite the relentless efforts of medical professionals, the young mother’s battle came to a tragic end on August 2nd, where she passed away at about 7.04am.

Preliminary autopsy findings uncovered a disturbing reality: Chen’s chest was riddled with bacteria. The presence of these harmful microorganisms pointed towards a severe bacterial infection

The Investigation Commences

Upon learning of the tragedy, the Johor Health and Unity Committee Chairman, Ling Tian Soon, took swift action. He revealed that the state Health Department’s private medical practice control section initiated an immediate investigation into the incident. Their primary goal: to locate the elusive beautician responsible for the procedure.

One of the most baffling aspects of this case is the disappearance of the beautician herself. Authorities staked out the location, a double-storey house in Taman Mutiara Rini, Skudai, where the procedure allegedly occurred, but the beautician remained untraceable. Even her contact number and social media accounts had vanished.

Ling Tian Soon’s Ultimatum

Ling Tian Soon, who is leading the charge, has issued a stern ultimatum. He stated, “I am giving the beautician one week to come forward and assist in the department’s investigation. Those with information about her whereabouts are also encouraged to channel the information to us. If she still refuses to do so, I will call for a coordinating meeting with the police and the department to ask the cops’ help to track her down.”

Further adding to the complexity of this case is the revelation that the beautician responsible for the procedure was unlicensed.

39 Y.O MAN IDENTIFIES AS A 28 Y.O & SAYS HE’S “TRANS-AGE”, BUT WAS REALLY BORN IN 1984

0

In a world where age is often regarded as a defining factor of one’s identity, there are those who challenge societal norms and perceptions.

Jackie, a Japanese man born in 1984, has boldly embraced the concept of being “trans-age” and identifies as a 28-year-old, despite being 39 years old, according to ABEMA Prime.

Unveiling the Trans-Age Phenomenon

Age, a facet of identity, can be a complex and sensitive subject for many individuals. In Jackie’s case, his journey into the realm of trans-age identity began with a profound realization.

Unlike traditional age identity, where one’s age aligns with their birthdate, trans-age individuals identify with an age that resonates with their mentality and self-perception.

Jackie’s Revelation

Jackie, a resident of Kyoto, Japan, was born on January 5, 1984. However, when he introduces himself, he boldly asserts that he is 28 years old.

This discrepancy between his birthdate and his self-identified age may seem perplexing to some, but it underscores the concept of trans-age. For Jackie, age is not merely a number but a reflection of his inner self.

The Turning Point

Jackie’s journey into trans-age identity can be traced back to a pivotal incident at his workplace seven years ago. During this time, his employer confronted him, expressing disbelief that he lacked certain skills “at his age.”

This encounter left Jackie feeling stressed and disconnected from his true identity. It prompted him to question the societal expectations associated with his chronological age.

In light of this incident, Jackie made a bold decision. He chose to identify as a 28-year-old because, for him, this age represents a harmonious balance between adulthood and youthfulness.

Despite his commitment to his self-identified age, Jackie faces practical challenges. Official documents and forms require him to disclose his actual birthdate, which obliges him to acknowledge his true age.

4 Y.O GIRL DROWNS IN POOL AS 26 Y.O STEP-BROTHER WATCHES ON WHILE SIPPING HIS DRINK

0

In a heart-wrenching incident that occurred on the 13th of September, a four-year-old girl tragically drowned in a swimming pool at an apartment complex in Selangor, Malaysia, according to China Press.

What makes this case even more distressing is the fact that her 26-year-old stepbrother, who was present during the incident, did nothing to help her. Instead, he just watched her drown to her death while sipping on his drink.

The Initial Joy Turns to Tragedy

The incident took place at approximately 3 pm on that day in Bangi, Selangor. CCTV footage revealed the surroundings of an apartment swimming pool where the young victim, a four-year-old girl, was enjoying her time in the water with the assistance of a float.

At first, she seemed to be having a delightful time, playing by herself, and confidently using the pool steps to venture deeper into the water.

However, tragedy struck when she attempted to kick off from the pool steps once more. In a horrifying twist of fate, she lost her balance, toppled upside down, and slipped out of her float.

A Shocking Lack of Response

As the young girl struggled in the water, frantically trying to stay afloat, her float drifted away from her. It was at this critical juncture that her stepbrother, a 26-year-old young man, approached the poolside. What is even more distressing is his inexplicable lack of action.

Instead of rushing to her aid or seeking help, the stepbrother stood by the edge of the pool, seemingly unmoved by the dire situation unfolding before him. He did not exhibit any visible signs of concern or urgency to help her.

As the child’s lifeless body sank deeper into the water, he astonishingly raised a drink to his lips, appearing to take a sip.

Even as the young girl’s body eventually floated face-down in the pool, the stepbrother merely walked closer to the edge, squatted down, and extended his hand, as if he intended to play with the water, like a psychopath.

A Race Against Time

Fortunately, a technician who was present at the scene, leaped into the pool, swiftly retrieving the unconscious child from the water. CPR was administered, and an ambulance was promptly summoned.

Despite the efforts to revive her, the young victim remained in an unconscious state. Tragically, at about 1pm the next day, she passed away.

Initially classified as a case of sudden death by drowning, the incident took a drastic turn following a comprehensive review of the CCTV footage.

The authorities subsequently arrested the 26-year-old.

S’PORE WOMAN LIED TO POLICE ABOUT BEING ASSAULTED BY EX-BF TO GET HIM IN TROUBLE

0

Sophia Gill, the 52-year-old boss of an employment agency had a vendetta against her former boyfriend. To execute her plan, she resorted to shocking measures, one of which involved her administration officer.

Nicole Chng Jin Wen, the administration officer in question, was allegedly instructed by Gill to lie about a violent assault involving her former boyfriend. This fabricated story would put the man in hot water and tarnish his reputation, according to The Straits Times.

Chng eventually ended up being sentenced on 26 September to 6 weeks imprisonment after pleading guilty to a number of charges that included providing a police officer with false information.

Meanwhile her boss Gill’s case is currently still ongoing.

To make the deception more convincing, Gill went to extreme lengths. She reportedly directed another employee to physically assault her, ensuring that she had visible bruises. This twisted act was aimed at corroborating the false assault claims.

The Timeline of Deception

Nicole Chng Jin Wen worked for the employment agency from March 6 to June 30, 2017. Her involvement in this disturbing saga began in May 2017.

On May 23, 2017, Sophia Gill wanted to confront her former boyfriend. Together with Chng, they visited a kebab restaurant near Beach Road, which he managed.

On that very day, an Expedited Protection Order (EPO) was issued against Gill by her ex-boyfriend after Gill and Chng had visited his restaurant.

Gill and her former boyfriend had a tumultuous relationship, starting in 2015 when they opened the eatery together. Their relationship soured the following year when he discovered Gill was actually married.

The end of their relationship was marked by mutual police reports against each other, reflecting the acrimony between the two parties.

At the restaurant, Gill unleashed a barrage of vulgarities at her former boyfriend, even causing a ruckus by overturning chairs. Despite being asked to leave, Gill and Chng refused, prompting the man to lock the restaurant’s main door.

Gill and Chng called the police, but when the man finally unlocked the door, the two women alleged that he had assaulted them.

Later that day, Gill instructed an employee to meet her and Chng in a car park and allegedly told the employee to physically harm her so that she could present the resulting injuries as evidence of the supposed assault by her ex.

The employee complied and punched and kicked Gill, resulting in bruises on her left upper arm and right leg. Gill then instructed Chng to memorize a false account of the events to lie to the police.

Following these staged events, Gill and Chng went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Chng, following Gill’s instructions, provided false information to the attending doctor.

Subsequently, the two women lodged police reports against Gill’s former boyfriend on May 24, 2017, sparking an investigation. Six days later, Chng formally complained about the alleged assault to a magistrate, prompting further police involvement.

It was only on July 11, 2017, after Chng had left her job at the company, that she decided to come clean. She revealed the truth about the fabricated incident, highlighting the extent to which Gill had controlled her through salary withholding.
