TP OFFICER HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT AMONG PLANTS TO CATCH SPEEDING DRIVERS @ ECP

0

In the bustling streets of Singapore, maintaining a reasonable speed while driving is not only a matter of safety but also a legal obligation.

The guardians of traffic rules in the Lion City are the dedicated Traffic Police (TP) officers who ensure that everyone adheres to the speed limits and obeys the road regulations.

A photo recently emerged showing a TP officer at work, hiding stealthily amongst some plants and aiming a speed camera at the East Coast Parkway (ECP) expressway.

Unconventional Tactics Unveiled

The genesis of this intriguing tale lies in a photograph that has taken the social media sphere by storm. Shared widely on Facebook, this image portrays a seemingly ordinary scene along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) in Singapore. At first glance, it might appear as just another snapshot of the roadside, complete with pots and shrubs.

However, what sets this photograph apart is a stationary motorcycle nestled among the greenery, proudly displaying the telltale “TP” license plate. This unmistakable insignia identifies the motorcycle as the property of the Traffic Police, immediately raising questions about the man beside it.

The TP officer, clad in a helmet and crouching beside the shrubs, is the focal point of curiosity. He holds a speed camera while focusing it on the road ahead.

It appears that this TP officer was attempting to blend into his surroundings and remain unnoticed by motorists on the expressway. The TP officer’s choice of weapon, the speed camera, adds another layer of intrigue to the situation.

While the photograph itself does not provide clear information about the exact location, one astute observer commented that the photo might have been taken along the ECP, heading towards Changi Airport.

Netizens’ comments

  1. At Changi airport highway just set a mobile camera hide them at the lights or under a tree.
  2. Why you scared? If you don’t speed, then there’s no need to worry.
In fact, I’m glad that TP is doing their job. So if you don’t speed, don’t be afraid.
  3. If a dashcam footage shows a speeding car, people will kaopeh no TP, no enforcement.
If you’re law abiding driver, then you have no fear of TP in concealment.

XMM TOO USED TO S’PORE’S TRAFFIC LIGHTS, DON’T DARE CROSS ROAD IN M’SIA ANYMORE

0

The act of crossing a road may seem like a mundane task, but the cultural norms and regulations governing it can vary significantly from one place to another.

This is precisely what a Malaysian student in Singapore experienced when she found herself hesitating to jaywalk in Malaysia after becoming accustomed to Singapore’s strict adherence to pedestrian crossings and traffic lights.

The Singaporean Pedestrian Culture

Adriana, a Malaysian student currently residing in Singapore, found herself in a rather amusing predicament during a visit to her homeland, Johor.

Having spent a considerable amount of time in Singapore, she had grown accustomed to the convenience and safety of using pedestrian crossings and obeying traffic lights.

As Adriana stood on a Malaysian street, she faced a situation she had almost forgotten: the absence of zebra crossings and traffic lights. She needed to cross the road, but her instincts, honed by her stay in Singapore, made her hesitate.

In a humorous TikTok video shared on September 4th, Adriana playfully narrated her dilemma. She mentioned that her hesitation to jaywalk made her feel like she was “betraying her country.” The experience was, in her words, a testament to having spent “way too long” in Singapore.

Ultimately, Adriana decided to take the plunge. She waited until the road was clear of cars and quickly dashed across. Her triumphant arrival on the opposite side was accompanied by a mix of relief and amusement.

In jest, Adriana humorously implied that jaywalking was an integral part of Malaysian culture, and by hesitating to do so, she had momentarily strayed from her roots.

PUNGGOL LANDLORD KENA TENANTS FROM HELL, END UP WITH CRACKED TILES & DAMAGES

0

Renting out your property in haste, without proper tenant screening, can sometimes lead to regrettable consequences.

In a recent incident involving a Punggol HDB unit, a landlord’s impulsive decision to rent to what turned out to be “wrong tenants” resulted in a discoloured kitchen countertop and various damages that have left the property in disrepair.

The Unveiling of Damages

Benedict Lim, a property agent familiar with the unit in question, recently shared a TikTok clip that showcased the extensive damages inflicted by the previous tenants.

Lim’s intention was not just to reveal the extent of the damage but also to serve as a cautionary tale for landlords who may be tempted to rush the rental process.

The story begins several years ago when the landlord initially entrusted the management of the flat to Lim.

However, driven by a sense of urgency to rent out the property, the landlord decided to seek the services of another agent who quickly found tenants. Unfortunately, this agent’s screening process was not as thorough as it should have been.

Lim’s video presentation starts with a disheartening sight—the once-white kitchen countertop had transformed into a dismal shade of yellow during the tenants’ occupancy.

The sink adjacent to the countertop mirrored this unsightly transformation. Adding to the distress, a nearby cabinet bore colorful smudges, evidence of children’s artwork that would not wash off.

The damage did not stop at the kitchen. The floor tiles exhibited visible cracks, a stark reminder of the careless use the unit had endured. Even the windows, obscured by a layer of filth, further exacerbated the unit’s deteriorating condition.

As Lim continued the tour, he revealed more unsettling discoveries. Additional cabinets showcased stains and marks from various mishaps. One of the room doors bore brown rectangular markings, marring its appearance. In one of the bathrooms, a discoloured mattress hinted at hygiene concerns, while a cabinet was missing an entire panel.

Arguably the most distressing revelation was the condition of a wardrobe in one of the rooms. One of its doors had completely fallen apart and lay on the floor, a testament to the rough treatment it had endured.

To compound matters, tape markings on the wardrobe’s glass panels suggested an attempt to conceal prior damage.

CONDO RESIDENT THROWS CHAIR & PUNCHED SECURITY GUARD FOR CONFISCATING BOY’S LASER POINTER

0

The Union of Security Employees (USE) said in a statement on Facebook that a security guard was assaulted during an incident at a condominium in Pasir Ris.

The Incident Unfolds

The incident took place at a condominium located in Pasir Ris, Singapore, where a security officer had a seemingly routine encounter.

He had politely requested a young resident to cease playing with laser pointers in the condominium’s playground. These requests were in accordance with the condo’s regulations, aimed at ensuring safety and order.

Unfortunately, the situation escalated when the child refused to comply with the security officer’s request. In response to this defiance, the security officer carried out his duty and confiscated the laser pointers, a move consistent with the condo’s rules.

The following day, the situation took a shocking turn when the child’s father confronted the security officer. Tempers flared, leading to a physical altercation.

The father, in a fit of anger, resorted to violence and punched the security officer’s left cheek. He then went further, picking up a high chair from the security post and hurling it at the officer.

In light of this violent episode, the security officer promptly contacted the police, seeking assistance and intervention in this highly volatile situation.

The man was then arrested shortly by police officers from the Pasir Ris Neighbourhood Police Centre.

Representatives from USE visited the security officer, offering him a nourishment pack and Quick Relief vouchers. This compassionate gesture aimed to provide both physical and emotional support to the security officer during this challenging time.

In their Facebook post, USE expressed their relief that the security officer was physically unharmed and extended their appreciation for his courage and professionalism in handling the situation.

USE’s statement on Facebook

Our member, who was deployed as a Security Supervisor (SS) at a condominium at Pasir Ris, was attending to an incident of young residents playing with laser pointers at the playground.

The residents refused to comply with our member’s request to stop playing with the lasers and as a result, he had to confiscate the devices as permitted by the condo’s by-laws.

The following day, the father of the young resident confronted our member over the incident and punched him on the left cheek in anger. Not satisfied with that, he went on to pick up a high chair from the security post and hurled it at the SS. Our member immediately called the police.

Police officers from Pasir Ris NPC arrived shortly and arrested the assailant.

USE’s Assistant General Secretary Brother Tiong Hian and Mediation Services Supervisor Murugason visited our member with his management and presented a nourishment pack and Quick Relief vouchers to him. We are glad he is fine and applaud his courage and professionalism.

Our security officers play important roles as ascribed to them by law. They keep our homes and our families safe. We seek the public’s support to ensure a safe work environment for SOs.

MOTORCYCLIST STUCK AT CARPARK GANTRY BECAUSE HE KENA $1.3K PARKING FEE

0

A motorcyclist found himself facing a jaw-dropping parking charge of over $1,330 just to enter a multi-storey car park at Jurong West Street 75.

This bizarre occurrence unfolded on September 3rd, at 1:50 pm. A Facebook user who shared this unusual incident shed light on the situation.

The perplexing situation began when the motorcyclist approached the car park gantry. It was at this point that things took an unexpected turn.

Instead of smoothly entering the parking facility, the motorcyclist found themselves stuck at the gantry. In an act of courtesy, the motorcyclist decided to move aside and let another vehicle go ahead.

However, what followed was even more surprising. The motorcyclist, now a bystander, decided to tailgate the vehicle in front. This sequence of events was captured by the observant netizen who shared the incident on Facebook.

The post quickly gained traction, garnering over 120 comments and a slew of theories as to why the motorcyclist was subjected to such an exorbitant parking fee.

Netizens’ share possible reasons

  1. Correct me but why enter must pay not exit then show the amount meh.
  2. Let me explain why it shows a fee of $1,331.46. Some time ago, this motorcyclist entered the car park then he evaded the parking barrier. Now he returns back to the same car park. Thats why.
  3. Its the IU or the gentry EPS is having an issue. Never come across of overcharged parking from HDB … But many motorists tried to evade parking charges are common

Similar incidents

This incident may remind some of a similar, albeit more expensive, parking mishap that occurred at Jewel Changi Airport in April 2019.

A delivery driver there found themselves saddled with a parking charge exceeding $3,100. The reason? A failure to record the driver’s previous exit from the area.

A spokesperson for Jewel Changi Airport Development explained back then, “There was no record of the driver leaving the car park, and hence the parking charge snowballed until the next visit, which took place on April 24.”

LOCAL WOMAN EXPOSES ANOTHER WOMAN WHO TRIED TO STEAL HER HUSBAND

0

To the woman who tried to pursue my husband and failed.

I had many awful things that I wanted to say to you the moment I discovered your intentions with him. When I found out, saying a lame sorry indirectly doesn’t even encompass the magnitude of what I have caught you trying to do.

You have quite a reputation among our mutual friends so it wasn’t hard to learn about you and your shameless past. If the friends who know all 3 of us and no one is on your side what does it say about you?

Do I hate you for a while? Yes. But I learnt that my husband was also at fault. He should have stayed away from you like everyone else. If no one liked being around you, there must be a reason why. I start to know why you behaved the way you did with him because you are one super needy messed up person. But it doesn’t excuse you for disrespecting me and saying all those disgusting and shameless words to him in your desperate attempt to try to steal him.

I’m glad he didn’t fall for your manipulative attempts to try to dig info out of him. It showed me that he respected our union. You have managed to trap him to be unable to avoid helping you. And yet you are unable to make him fall for you. No matter how pathetic and needy you behaved, not once did he let you into our world. I think you’re a little nutty to start behaving towards him as though you are part of my family and calling yourself ‘our kid’ when you are as old as me. I’m glad not once did he acknowledge your nutty sentences.

Our friends told me you aren’t worth my time. Not even worth a slap from me. I fully agree. I also didn’t want to give you the satisfaction of hearing anything from me. But here I am, writing to get it off my chest once and for all. I guess gossip spreads fast. No wonder you’ve been hiding since.

I’m glad you have no intention to marry because women like you, shouldn’t. One of my friends told me she thought it was odd that you started to message her husband over something trivial. Well, now we all know what you’re up to. Covid must have made you more desperate for attention. Go find a new hobby!

MAN STOPS HIS CAR AND PEES OUTSIDE A LANDED HOME @ NOVENA -THE WORLD IS HIS TOILET

In this digital age, where surveillance is ubiquitous, a bizarre incident caught on CCTV has left netizens baffled. A man, seemingly oblivious to the watchful eyes of technology, was seen on CCTV footage dated 4 September at about 5.55pm, urinating by the side of the road outside a landed home along Novena.

The world is his toilet

The minute-long video footage, shared extensively on Facebook, documents a rather unusual sequence of events.

It all begins with a white private-hire vehicle reversing and coming to a halt in front of a residence at Goldhill landed estate.

The driver, apparently devoid of any inhibitions, casually walks to the back of his car, unzips his pants and proceeds to urinate on the potted plants along the side of the road.

The video, accompanied by a caption expressing shock and disbelief, drew immediate attention.

The netizen who posted the footage on social media questioned the man’s actions, asking, “Uncle, why do you park and then pee openly in front of people’s houses? Surely you know that CCTV cameras are everywhere now.”

Legal Implications

Under the Environmental Public Health Act, urinating or defecating “in or upon any street, arcade, vacant land, river, canal, ditch, drain, or watercourse or in any place to which the public has access except in any sanitary convenience provided for such purpose” is considered an offense.

The penalty for such an offense can be significant, with fines reaching up to $1,000 for a first offense. For repeat offenders, the consequences become even more severe, with fines escalating to $2,000 for the second offense and a whopping $5,000 for the third offense.

Netizens’ comments

  1. But the CCTV is pointing the wrong way, should capture his birdy. As Tan Kin Lian says, there are no signages for toilets.
  2. Uncle, come on la we dont live in 70s or 80s..now everywhere camera..anyways really needs guts to do it
  3. Throw face. His father mother taught him that?

35 Y.O MAN WHO IS A V, HAS NEVER KISSED A WOMAN IN HIS LIFE SCARE HE WILL DIE ALONE

0

A netizen shared how he is a virgin at the age of 35 and that he has never kissed a woman before in his life.

Here is the story

I’m a 35 year old kissless virgin

Yup. I hate my life. What hurts is that I could have had it all. I was a good-looking, tall, athletic, and smart guy. But I’ve also always been very introverted with a weak, monotone voice.

I often ruminate on all the factors that made me into the person I am today: Discomfort with any kind of physical touching. Idiot parents. Health problems. Fetishes and adult videos addiction. Obsessions. Basically zero friends at the end of school. The great recession.

My family is very conservative and was taught abstinence growing up. I bought into that completely and grew up believing well into my early 20s that sleeping around was irresponsible and full of consequences. So, I think that initially played a big role…

Constant brainfog and feeling down ruined my school experience. Having a really bad varicocele that I needed to have two surgeries for in my early 20s didn’t help. Fetishes and adult videos addiction have been my prison for over 20 years.

There’s much more to explain but this isn’t the place for a memoir. There was so much potential for me to become a perfectly normal, well-adjusted person, but that didn’t happen, and I feel like it was hardly my fault.

All I’ve got is resentment, regrets, and awful, cringy memories of how things went wrong. I hate my life so much and I can’t exist like this anymore.

I’ve completely checked out of society and spend my days consuming media and playing video games.

69 Y.O MAN WHO RAPED HIS MAID & TOLD HER HE ENJOYED HER BODY, JAILED 15 YEARS

0

69-year-old Tan Jeck Tuang, pleaded guilty to one count of rape and one count of outrage of modesty, and he was sentenced on 5 September to 15 years imprisonment.

6 other charges for assault by penetration and outrage of modesty were considered during his sentencing.

What happened?

According to The Straits Times, the nightmare began when the victim started working for 69-year-old Tan Jeck Tuang in August 2020. Her primary responsibility was to care for Tan, who had been diagnosed with vascular dementia earlier that year.

Vascular dementia is a condition characterized by progressive memory loss and personality changes due to reduced blood supply to the brain.

On November 2020, Tan’s sinister intentions came to light. He asked the victim to prepare food for him and, after eating, called her back into his room to collect the cutleries and plate.

He then pulled her hand and told her to “sleep” as she felt weak and like she was about to faint, before Tan then kissed her, lifted up her shirt and performed various obscene acts on the victim, before apologising to her and telling her that he enjoyed her body.

The nightmare didn’t end there. Sometime between February and March 2021, Tan again assaulted the victim, this time with even more brutality. He forced her to perform oral intercourse on him, leaving her traumatized and emotionally scarred.

On April 11, 2021, she decided she could endure no more and tried to leave the flat. Tan’s brother, attempting to prevent her from escaping, contacted the police.

Justice Prevails

Tan was arrested on the same day, and the legal proceedings began. During the trial, Tan’s lawyer argued for leniency due to his advanced age. However, Justice Abdullah firmly stated that age should not be a justification for lighter sentencing.

Justice Abdullah stated, “Those who do not wish to die in prison are advised not to commit offenses that would leave them to die in prison.”

20 Y.O WOMAN POSSESSED WHILE HIKING, SEEN CRAWLING ON GROUND & GROWLING

0

A 20-year-old woman, while hiking along the scenic Bukit Jugra Trail in Banting, was rescued by the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department under rather bizarre circumstances.

The incident was further amplified by the claim that she was possessed by supernatural beings.

Videos capturing this eerie encounter flooded social media for a brief moment with the caption “If you enter the forest, don’t anyhow scream or else…” before it was taken down, leaving behind a whole host of questions.

The Rescue Mission

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department responded promptly after receiving a distress call from the trail. What they encountered was far from ordinary.

The young woman who was hiking with her family members at the time, was found on all fours, her clothes muddied and torn as she growled and bared her teeth at everyone, according to The Star.

Her behavior was nothing short of unsettling; she was seen baring her teeth, emitting guttural growls, and even letting out spine-chilling screams.

The family’s account of the incident added a layer of mystery to the already perplexing situation. According to them, the woman had been hiking peacefully when something inexplicable occurred.

They firmly believed that she had fallen prey to supernatural forces, leading to her strange behavior. They believed that she had been possessed by something inside the forest.

Possession or Heatstroke: A Debate Unfolds

As the videos circulated, a heated debate erupted online. Some netizens delved into folklore, speculating that the woman might have been “possessed” by a “Tiger Deity.”

This mystical being, according to local legends, roams the mountains and holds dominion over them. Could this ancient belief have manifested itself in the form of this young woman’s bizarre conduct?

On the other hand, more skeptical observers raised the possibility of a severe heatstroke. Malaysia’s tropical climate can be unforgiving, and heatstroke can lead to disorientation, hallucinations, and erratic behavior.

Could it be that the relentless heat of the Bukit Jugra Trail had taken a toll on her sanity, causing her to act in this peculiar manner?

The Eerie Photograph

Adding to the intrigue, local media shared a photograph of the woman, restrained on a stretcher with a haphazardly tied rope.

This image raised further questions. Was this a precautionary measure to protect her from harming herself or others, or did it hint at something more sinister lurking in the shadows of the trail?

The incident on Bukit Jugra Trail is shrouded in mystery, with no definitive answers in sight. Was it a genuine case of possession, as claimed by the family, or was it a tragic outcome of the merciless Malaysian heat? The debate rages on.
