GUY SCARED TO PIAK PIAK AFTER EX DUMPED HIM BECAUSE HIS BELLY GOT IN THE WAY IN BED

0

I just missed out on a hook up because of my belly

When my ex dumped me.. it ended rough and she ended up telling me that my belly disgusted her and got in the way in the bedroom.

I’ve tried a lot of dieting since, but never had the discipline. I’m finally getting somewhere now and am down 6 kg, but I’m still very fat (122 kg)

Anyways I’ve been seeing this girl for the past 2 months and she was over at my place.. we were making out and things go heated.

She asked me if I wanted to f and I did, but my insecurities got the best of me and now I’m scared to get intimate with women..

I came up with a dumb lie and said that I couldn’t due to some medicine I was taking at the moment (sounds like complete bs, I know) and now I’m pretty sure I f-ed everything up..

my ex really messed my self esteem up

Netizens’ comments

  1. She’s sees you. She knows your size. And she still wants to sleep with you!! Take her out again and go for it!!!
  2. Look, you aren’t hiding your weight which means she knew full well what she was doing and what she wanted, and she wanted you, belly and all.
Tell her the truth, anyone who actually gives a damn about you won’t judge you for it, and if she does then she isn’t worth it.
  3. Be honest with her. You know what really turns girls on? That’s right, honesty.
  4. Bro.
The belly has powers unlike any I have ever seen. The dad bod is so in. Whether it’s giant sweatshirts for a girl to steal. Or it’s the feeling of a big warm safe body to snuggle with at night. Idk but women flirt with me more than ever now that I have a dad bod. My wife loves it absolutely. but don’t give up . The belly will win.

MAN EARLY FOR JOB INTERVIEW, MANAGER MADE HIM WAIT & ARRIVES 45 MINS LATE

0

Walked out from an interview today

Had an interview for an upper management position in a large retailer today. I scheduled the interview with the district manager last week for 12:30pm today.

I arrive at 12:20 and check in at customer service. The team member there said she notified them and they said they would be “right down”.

20 minutes later, nobody has come down, that team member walks past me again and said she notified them a second time but they must be in a meeting.

Another 25 minutes goes by and nobody has come. I get up and notify that same team member that I’m leaving and if the district manager does eventually come down to let them know that.

As I’m walking out the district manager finally comes. She said she’s sorry and that she got caught up. I said that’s fine but I have other things I have to do and it was extremely unprofessional to leave me waiting for 45 minutes and continued to walk out.

I’d also like to say I’m an extremely patient person and have never done anything like this before. I have a ton of experience and multiple job offers on the table but the one today was the one I was Gung ho for. Owell.

Netizens’ comments

  1. Respect goes all ways, you respected them, they didn’t respect you.
  2. 5 minutes I understand.
    10 minutes I can forgive.
15 minutes better be a good offer.
20+ and they’re either incompetent or testing you, and either one isn’t worth it.
  3. I understand that’s how many people do things, they might be a little late.
It’s funny that a manager doesn’t have any time management skills. You prioritize tasks, estimate how long they’ll take, and the big one, something urgent comes up, you can delegate.
I’m practically never late, unless it’s something out of my control, like a blown tyre or so. But that’s why phones were invented.
I believe in leading by example, that’s why the manager should always be held to a higher standard. Don’t have to run a tight ship, but a healthy one.
Not nitpicking if it’s a friend running late. But in a professional setting, I expect better.

GUY FOUND OUT GF SLEPT WITH HIS BEST FRIEND ON THE DAY HIS GRANDMA DIED

0

Found out my Girlfriend of 10 years cheated on me on the day my grandma died

I (M28) found out that my girlfriend of 10 years cheated on me with several people.

I found out about it through a friend who found her profile on tinder. I was at his place because i lost my grandma that day and I needed a friend. first he didnt wanna show it to me on that day but he came to the conclusion that I have to know it right now.

It felt like my world collapsed and I had a breakdown.

I waited for her in our Apartment to confront her with a screenshot. First she denied everything but then she admitted that she cheated on me with several different dudes over the last year because she needed the attention and the last time she cheated was on my birthday, thats why she was running late for my Party.

Of course I broke up with her I packed some things and drove to my friends house.

But thats not even the worst, my best friend of 20 years called me a few days later and asked me if I wanna grab a few cold ones and ofc I said yes, I really needed him and besides that, he was acting strange the last weeks and I wanted to ask him if everything is alright.

Long story short after some beer he told me that he is sleeping with my now ex for a few month now and he was the one she slept with on my birthday.

Then he showed me some Screenshots my ex sent him from at least 15 different dudes saying the she was great in bed.

He started crying and said he is sorry and that he feels like shit. I was frozen like I had no idea what I should say now. I got angry and smashed a bottle on his wall.

3 minutes after I started screaming at him, my ex called him and he kicked me out because she needed him at the Apartment.

GIRL DUMPED BF FOR “STEALING” HER CASH, LATER FINDS IT IN HER DRAWER WHERE SHE LEFT IT

0

I broke up with my then bf 3 months ago because I thought he had stolen 846 dollars from me. I just found the money.

I can’t say this on my main account and I need to write this out but oh my God, I messed up. I messed up badly.

I just found the money. It was in the chest of drawers i put it in but the drawer I put it in had a small opening in the back (I didn’t know it was there) and the envelope of money fell down there.

I would never have discovered it but the drawers broke so I was taking the chest apart and there was the envelope. It’s the same envelope because it has my handwriting on it and the receipt from the bank.

I have to apologize but this is going to be so bad. I told my friends and family about this, about how I suspected that he had stolen from me since he was the only one in my house that day. No one else had a key and I haven’t left that room or my house with the money.

God, he lost mutual friends because of me. I ended a 2 year relationship over this. I just didn’t believe him when he said he didn’t take it.

I hurt him for no reason and then I blocked him. A apology won’t be enough. I’m going to contact him tomorrow and then I’ll tell everyone else. Wow, I messed up.

Netizens’ comments

  1. You have to defend him as loud as you slandered him.
  2. Over 30 years ago I lived with a guy that I really, really loved. His sister came to visit and lost a couple hundred dollars. I got blamed for taking it. It was ugly. I cried so hard and just couldn’t understand how anybody would think I would steal from them, especially him. We split up.
She found it not long after I left.
Even this many years later I think about that every now and then and it still hurts that I was called a thief when they were the ones that lost their own money. I lost some friends during all that.
    It sucks.
  3. After you apologize to him you need to make sure you tell everyone. I doubt he will want to speak to anyone who didn’t believe him but they still should know the truth.

GEORGE GOH ON HIS PRESIDENT ELECTION REJECTION – “IT IS A SETBACK FOR S’PORE”

0

The Elections Department earlier announced that they had received 6 applications for the Certificate of Eligibility (CEO) to run for the presidential election 2023, and issued 3 COEs to Ng Kok Song, Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Tan Kin Lian.

Following the announcement, presidential hopeful George Goh issued a statement lamenting the rejection of his application for the COE.

He said that he is “very disappointed” at his rejection, and highlighted how he had “submitted a very strong case detailing my experience and performance managing five companies”.

He said that he is “saddened” and described the decision as having “deprived Singaporeans of a wider choice to select who the next President will be,” and that “It is a setback not just for me but for Singapore.”

George Goh’s press statement

From the Desk of George Goh Ching Wah
Date: 18 August 2023

Press Statement

I am very disappointed at the decision of the PEC to reject my application for a certificate of eligibility.

My legal and financial team submitted a very strong case detailing my experience and performance managing five companies which met the shareholders’ equity and profitability criteria. I was the most senior executive in each of these companies.

The PEC rejected our argument that my experience in these companies was equivalent to that of a CEO running a single company, and took a very narrow interpretation of the requirements without explaining the rationale behind its decision.

This decision has deprived Singaporeans of a wider choice to select who the next President will be.

It is a setback not just for me but for Singapore.

I am saddened, but I am heartened by the support shown to me by many Singaporeans over the past few weeks and I would like to thank all of them for their support.

His actions led to the swift arrest of the man for attempted housebreaking.

On 26 May 2023, the victim and her friend spotted a man following them into an outlet at JEM shopping mall. The victim’s friend noticed that the man was hiding something in his shoe and shouted at him, prompting the man to flee. Mr Muhammad Sufie Rashid was shopping nearby when he overheard the commotion. SCAMMERS NOW ASKING IF YOU WANT SEE NEHNEHPOK TO MAKE YOU DOWNLOAD FAKE APPS

POLICE ADVISORY ON NEW VARIANT OF SCAMS INVOLVING MALICIOUS DATING APPLICATIONS

The Police have observed a new variant of scams involving malicious dating applications (apps). Since July 2023, at least 19 victims have fallen prey, with total losses amounting to at least $13,000.

In these cases, victims would receive in-app messages from female subjects on TikTok or over dating apps like MI Chat or Tagged. The victims would be asked to continue the engagement on WhatsApp. The scammers would then entice the victims by asking if they would like to continue chatting via a one-to-one video call while being undressed or date the girl of their choice, or to access obscene videos/ photographs of the female subjects. The scammers would send victims a uniform resource locator (URL) link over WhatsApp, requiring the victims to download an Android Package Kit (APK) file, an app created for Android’s operating system. After downloading and installing the APK file, the scammers would be able to retrieve the victims’ banking credentials once they log in to their internet banking accounts. Subsequently, victims discovered unauthorised transactions from their banking accounts.

The Police would like to remind members of the public of the dangers of downloading apps from third-party or dubious sites. Members of the public are advised to adopt the following precautionary measures:

ADD – anti-virus/anti-malware apps available on official Play Store or App Store to your device. Update your devices’ operating systems and applications regularly to be protected by the latest security patches. Disable “Install Unknown App” or “Unknown Sources” in your phone settings. Do not grant permission to persistent pop-ups that request for access to your device’s hardware or data.

CHECK – for scam signs with official sources (e.g., visit www.scamalert.sg or call the Anti-Scam Helpline on 1800-722-6688). When asked to download unknown apps, check the developer information on the app listing as well as the number of downloads and user reviews to ensure it is a reputable and legitimate application.

TELL – authorities, family, and friends about scams. Report the number to WhatsApp to initiate in-app blocking and report any fraudulent transactions to your bank immediately.

If you have already downloaded and installed the app or suspect that your phone is infected with malware, please take the following steps:

  1. Turn your phone to “flight mode”.
  2. Run an anti-virus scan on your phone.
  3. Check your bank/Singpass/CPF accounts etc for any unauthorised transaction(s) using other device(s).
  4. If there are unauthorised transaction(s), report to the bank, relevant authorities, and lodge a Police report.
  5. After completing steps a-c, if you believe that your phone has not been infected with malware, you may resume usage of your phone. As a further precaution, you may consider doing a “factory reset” of your phone and changing important passwords.

If you have any information relating to such crimes or if you are in doubt, please call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit it online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness. All information will be kept strictly confidential. If you require urgent Police assistance, please dial ‘999’.

For more information on scams, members of the public can visit www.scamalert.sg or call the Anti-Scam Helpline at 1800-722-6688. Fighting scams is a community effort. Together, we can ACT Against Scams to safeguard our community!

TAN KIN LIAN SAYS NS ALLOWANCE SHOULD UP TO $1.5K, FULL-TIME NS CUT DOWN TO 12 MONTHS

Presidential candidate Tan Kin Lian took to Facebook to share how he feels the allowance for NSFs should be increased to $1,500.

In his Facebook post, where he referred to himself in the third person, he said that Singapore soldiers should be taken seriously and agreed with a “Chiniwa Chiniwa” on increasing the allowances for NSFs.

He also added that some countries have national service terms of less than 12 months and are doing fine, and opined for similar lengths of NS servitudes in Singapore, suggesting NS to be cut to 8 or 12 months.

Tan Kin Lian replied.

I agree. The NS allowance should be $1,500. If the government finds this to be too costly, they should cut down the full time NS to 8 or 12 months. Some countries have NS for less than 12 months. They are doing fine.

WOMAN BLINDED BY “LOVE”, GAVE $400K TO SCAMMER SHE MET ON DATING APP & LOST IT ALL

0

In a world intertwined with technology, where connections are often formed through the virtual realm, a heart-wrenching story has emerged that serves as a stark reminder of the risks that come with online relationships.

A woman, who had dreams of love and companionship, found herself ensnared in the web of a love scam that would cost her dearly – both emotionally and financially.

Blinded by love, she had transferred $400,000 via multiple transactions to a man that she met on a dating app for “investment opportunities” and promising her good returns for her money.

The man then became uncontactable after that receiving the money, and the woman realised that she had been scammed.

Love in the Digital Era: A Blossoming but Deceptive Bond

According to a press release from the Singapore Police Force, the woman first met the man on a dating app, where they soon developed a “relationship” with each other.

However, the path of this relationship took a sudden and treacherous turn. The man, a seemingly charming 29-year-old, introduced the woman to what appeared to be a golden investment opportunity.

He painted a vivid picture of substantial returns, enticing her with promises of good returns. Blinded by love and the allure of wealth, the woman agreed and transferred $400,000 to him.

As trust flourished, the man capitalized on the vulnerability of the woman’s heart. Under the guise of investments, he requested funds from the woman, who make multiple transactions to him amounting to about $400,000, before the man became uncontactable.

On August 15, she lodged a police report against him after realising that she had been scammed. Officers from the Central Police Division began investigating and established his identity, before arrested him yesterday (17 August).

At the time of writing, police investigations into the incident are currently underway, and if found guilty of cheating, the man faces a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine.
