Are balding males in their early 20s a turn off for girls?

Hello there! I just wanna know if balding males in their 20s who are looking to be in a relationship are a turnoff/dealbreaker for girls?

I’m in my early 20s and I’m already balding because of androgenic alopecia. I’m currently taking Finasteride (a long-term medication) on a daily basis for about 1 and a half month already.

This seems to be taking a toll on me in terms of being in a relationship. Some told me that this is a dealbreaker.

I also feel that this balding thing is also taking a toll on my self esteem. 🙁

So this event happened a few years ago and I was for some reason obsessed with the paranormal, and one of the things did consistently for “fun” was play with a homemade Ouija Board.

For the most part, nothing too serious happened, there would be the occasional bang / thud etc etc but other than that, nothing really happened.

One night though that all changed, one of my friends were sleeping over at my house, and I told him about my paranormal obsession, and he found it really cool and I suggested to him that we should play the Oujia Board, he was hesitant, but after a while he agreed to it.

It started out normally, asking the usual questions such as “Is there anyone there?” etc etc, as time went i had a feeling that something was watching me, so I decided to ask “If there’s anything there, give us a sign.”

5 seconds later, I feel something pull the back of my shirt, and after that I remember nothing. My friend recalls me screaming something which he couldn’t make out and making a growling noise of some sort.

After around 5 minutes, my friend said I woke up and I came to my senses, still not remembering what had happened beforehand. All I remember after this point is me and my friend saying goodbye to the spirit and then immediately my friend burnt the board.

I haven’t played a Oujia Board since, but what I will say, is that I still have nightmares of this event to this day.

when I was around 19yrs old, I was at the mall with my two friends. We were in a shoe store, trying on shoes.

There was a middle aged couple in the very large store (and two employees in their uniforms who were at the cashier), but otherwise the store was empty.

I noticed the woman customer staring at me out of the corner of my eye, but I wouldn’t look.

The woman then started saying “umm hello?! I need you to come find me a pair of shoes!” louder and louder as I continued to ignore her, proceeded shopping and trying on shoes.

She was getting pretty mad. I knew she was talking to me, but I refused to look or say anything because I obviously didn’t work there and her tone was disrespectful.

I was wearing a sun dress, high heels and had my purse so I’m not sure why she thought I was an employee in the first place.

The employees were wearing matching uniforms, certainly not dresses with heels, and they were clearly standing at the front of the store at the registers.

Well i refused to look over and she started getting really nasty “hey you! I’m talking to you! What the hell do you think you are doing?! I need your help! Why is she refusing to do her job!”

Her husband told her quietly “she doesn’t work here, she’s another customer” but she wouldn’t listen she kept going on and on in a huff.

I walked over to my friends, we all laughed and left. I just couldn’t believe she was so pig-headed, she still kept going on even after she was informed she was wrong by her husband.

I’ve never told anyone this, not family not friends.

Backstory… I didn’t grow up conventional. Like really unconventional. Though nobody has a normal life…mine was different. When i tell people and they meet my family. Their eyes widen and i can see in their expression that they don’t know how to feel. Generally most people accept it. The ones that don’t, well grew up normal lol.

I was a pretty chill and calm kid. I didn’t grow up in violence. But it was pretty normalized within my family. In the sense i was taught to stand up for myself. I took that pretty literally as a kid. If you have to fight, do what you have to do to win. If that meant taking a pipe to their legs, well you gotta do it. But i was told never to start fights.

I was tormented by the other kids and I learned a lot from it. I was also taught the world is a cruel place. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I was very perceptive and acknowledged this as a reality.

I noticed i was different when I was about 7 years old. I didn’t really like to talk a lot. I didn’t really realize until i was older that i didn’t have a tolerance for others. Like family would talk to me and I remember thinking to my self will they shut up, i don’t care. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etcetera…they would call me shy because i didn’t talk. I just didn’t have patience for their crap. I would just play along , nod, fake laugh, so on.

I didn’t feel for friends really. I was always the odd duck. Even within my family i was odd. I don’t even recall how i made friends. It didn’t make sense to me but i oddly fit in the popular crowds. I didn’t help i was an attractive kid. I really hated all of the attention, it would drive me insane. I would just conform because i saw thats what other kids wanted. So i would copy my friends to fit in the best i could. Honestly didn’t really care for them or anyone.

It was hard for me to care about my family and friends as the years went on. To the point that i just didn’t care if i didn’t keep in contact. Generally speaking, they all contact me. Otherwise i wouldn’t bother.

I noticed i could use my lack of emotion to my advantage. I picked up on this in maybe 8th or 9th grade. I would manipulate others for my gain. I was really good at it. They still have no idea the things i would do for my benefit. Yet i could easily hide i was lying to them. I would recreate emotions through many hours of practice. I would watch others. Whether it was anger, crying, happiness, sadness etcetera.. i would mimic their behavior.

I would keep my violent thoughts in my head because i acknowledged there are consequences. I would have these thoughts and I would never act out on them.

When i hit maybe my young adulthood, i really noticed i had no regard for others. I could care less about people and their feelings. That i was so intrigued i joined psychology class because i wanted to see if i could figure out what was wrong with me. I learned so much about the human brain. I had textbooks full of knowledge i could use. I would emulate different behaviors. It was amazing to me.

Within all of this time i did have a plethora of relationships with girls. Dated popular girls, hooked up with older women, one of my girlfriend’s moms., i liked the pleasure of intercourse. I did end up getting married. I oddly was able to care about someone. I dunno maybe because she was someone so different than myself. Though i do slip up from time to time for not having emotions for certain things i do my best to make her happy. We have four children together who I’d absolutely die for . It was like a switch flipped when i had them. That i could actually care for something that i developed really real feelings for their mother. That if anyone hurt her, i would put their hand in a blender.

I hide myself pretty well. People just think I’m that quiet guy who keeps to himself. It has it’s pros and cons. I have to remind myself to tell my wife things, give her compliments, act in manners i see as pointless. But i do care and love her.

Thanks for accepting my submission. To make it clear, I’m a Malaysian that has been working in Singapore for over 10 years and most of my close friends are Singaporeans.

My colleague and I planned a 1 night trip to Johor and he told me to meet at his house before driving in. While I was drinking coffee at his home, he was preparing to change clothes for the trip.

I noticed he put on his Rolex and gold chain and I told him not to wear them to Johor. I’m a local johorian, even my 30-year-old Toyota has a steering wheel lock and he is wearing this that could make us a target.

He insisted on wearing them as he wanted to attract easy gold digger girls for a “good night”. I told him not to as it might bring unnecessary danger to us. But he die die want to wear, So I told him good luck and let him be.

After we arrived in Johor and check-in at a hotel, he started to doubt himself as he realised that a lot of people were staring at him shortly after he left his vehicle.

He then started to be scared as we have plans to go out for a drinks tonight, he finally removed the gold chain and rolex and placed them in a hidden compartment of his luggage.

My moral of the story is, even for local johor people we do not wear like this when going out so please remember sometimes safety is more important than how you look.
