FRIENDS DECIDED TO UNFRIEND ME AFTER THEY DISCOVERED I’VE ATE THEIR MONEY IN BUSINESS

0

I recently found myself in a situation where I lost a few of my close friends because of money. It all started when I was looking to open my business, but I didn’t have the funds to do so.

Found a few friends to do the business together, but did not want to come out with money

I eventually found a few friends who were interested in investing in my business. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to open my business, but I quickly realized that I had to come up with a price for them to invest.

I didn’t want to set a price too high and scare them away, but I also didn’t want to set it too low and not get anything out of it.

I decided to bluff them to come out with more money

So, I decided to set a price with the intention of making it look fair from their point of view but the main point was that I did not want to come out with so much money myself.

I told them that their share percentage would determine on how much money they invested and said that I had put in $60,000 for 60% share of the business and asked for $10,000 from the four of them for 10% of shares each.

I was the main shareholder but in actual fact, I came up with nothing and even profited $8,000 from them as the costs to start up the place was only about $32,000.

I had marked up the price to them and had came up with nothing to get 60% of the shares.

They each agreed to pass me the money which I had asked for first, but had asked me for a detailed proposal on the costings of the business so that they could see if their money invested tallied with share percentage.

Time passed and as I had been delaying passing them the detailed proposal, they started to investigate and found out that the start up costs of the business were not so high.

They confronted me about it and I had no choice but to admit what I did to them.

They asked me back for the money but I had already used the money to fund my lifestyle and hence could not return them a cent.

The friendship went downhill from there but to me it is afterall still business and it is always a case of willing buyer willing seller.

CYCLIST SHOWS OFF HOW HE TAILGATES LORRY IN TUNNEL, SUPER DANGEROUS

A cyclist took a video of himself tail-gating a lorry in a high-speed tunnel. It seems like he is so proud of it, he distributes this video online.

Video of genius cyclist

Bicyclists tailgating trucks on high-speed roads can be a deadly combination. While it may seem like a good way to gain some extra speed, the risk far outweighs the reward. The combination of a large truck and a small bicycle can lead to disastrous consequences when traveling at high speeds.

The first and most obvious danger is the risk of being hit by the truck. The truck is much larger and heavier than the bicycle, so even a small collision can cause serious injury or death. Furthermore, the truck may be difficult to see from behind, making it difficult for the cyclist to know when it is safe to pass or to anticipate when a sudden stop may be necessary.

Another danger is the turbulence created by the truck. At high speeds, the air pressure created by the truck can be strong enough to push the bicycle off the road and cause it to crash. Additionally, this turbulence can make it difficult for the cyclist to maintain control over their bike, making it even more likely for them to be involved in an accident.

Finally, the cyclist may be unable to react quickly enough when the truck driver decides to change lanes. The truck is much larger and slower to respond, so the cyclist may be unable to avoid the truck in time.

Tailgating a truck on a high-speed road can be a dangerous game. Cyclists should always be aware of their surroundings and maintain a safe distance from larger vehicles. If a cyclist must pass a truck, they should do so at a safe speed and leave plenty of room for the truck to stop or turn. Doing so can help to ensure the cyclist’s safety and avoid any potential tragedies.

CRAZY DRIVER SPEEDS UP & DELIBERATELY HITS MOTORCYCLIST, FLEES THE SCENE AFTER

A netizen shared a video of a motorcyclist being sideswiped by a driver who was allegedly not happy at being “rev” from the rider.

The netizen who posted the video on Facebook, said (SIC) “just because you are not happy getting rev from the rider, you intentionally side swipe them. Your action could have kill the rider and his pillion. Simply drove off after.”

The motorcyclist was seen in the video captured on his helmet camera, riding along a road when the driver was getting ready to turn into his lane without signalling.

After he rode past the car, the driver sped up and caught up with him, rafting and honking along the way, before turning into the rider and sideswiping him.

The driver then fled the scene, leaving the motorcyclist and his pillion rider in shock – the rider said that he has since reported the incident to the police.

Potential penalties

Drivers who drive in a manner that is dangerous to the public is guilty of an offence under section 64(1) of the Road Traffic Act (RTA).

Persons found guilty face a jail term of up to 1 year and/or a $5,000 fine.

If the driver causes hurt, he faces a jail term of up to 2 years and a fine of $10,000.

If the driver caused grievous hurt, he faces a jail term of between 1 to 5 years and disqualified from driving for at least 8 years.

If the driver’s actions caused death, he faces a jail term of up to 2 to 8 years and disqualified from driving for at least 10 years.

MOTORCYCLIST SENT FLYING IN HORRIFYING ACCIDENT AFTER BMW SUDDENLY CHANGED LANES

A serious accident took place along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Thursday (9 March), showing a motorcyclist hitting a BMW that had suddenly changed lanes without warning.

A video of the accident was circulated on social media, with the time of the accident purportedly being 8.44am, according to the caption.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed the accident and said that they conveyed one person to H=Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

In the video, a black BMW was seen switching lanes onto its left when the motorcycle appeared just as the BMW was turning.

As a result, the BMW and motorcycle crashed into each other, causing the motorcycling to be thrown off his bike and skidding onto the road.

The impact was so great that the rider’s helmet was knocked off, and he was sent flying off his motorcycle and his body was spinning in mid air.

SG Road Vigilante, who posted the video, captioned that the accident was caused by the BMW “changing lane without due care”.

Netizens’ comments

  1. Nowadays there are plenty of this kind of drivers. Once they signal they will change lane without checking if there is any oncoming vehicle.
  2. So many this kind cb driver on the road , raining day also like to follow close each other..
  3. Hope the rider is alright. Seeing his white helmet flew off on impact.
  4. I think people miss the point about signalling. Its just your intention. The point about changing lanes is to change when it’s safe to do so. Tsk!

TOP STUDENT IN UNI COMPLAINS THAT SCH NO TEACH HIM HOW TO HANDLE MONEY

0

As a top student in university, I have a lot of expectations of my education.

I expect to learn about the world, to gain a better understanding of the topics that interest me, and to be able to apply those lessons to my life. However, I recently discovered that the university has been failing me in one aspect: it does not teach me how to handle my money.

My parents have always taught me the value of money and to spend it wisely, but I never received any formal lessons on how to manage my finances. I was left to figure it out on my own. As a result, I found myself spending recklessly when I first arrived at the university.

I was buying unnecessary items, eating out more than I should, and spending too much on nights out.

It wasn’t until I started to get into serious debt that I realized how much trouble I was in. I had no idea how to pay off my debts and I was scared that I was going to ruin my credit score. I knew that I needed to make a change, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I started by researching the basics of personal finance and budgeting. I learned about the importance of setting financial goals and creating a budget that I could stick to. I also read about how to save money, invest wisely, and pay off debt.

I started to make changes to my spending habits, and I was surprised at how quickly my debts started to disappear. I was able to pay off my credit card bills and student loans in a fraction of the time it would have taken me if I had kept my old habits.

I was so pleased with my progress that I decided to share what I had learned with other students. I started a blog to teach people how to manage their money, and I spoke at conferences and seminars about personal finance.

I also contacted my university and asked why they were not teaching their students about personal finance. They told me that it was not part of the curriculum, but I argued that it should be. After all, it is an essential part of life and something that all university students should understand.

Fortunately, the university agreed and they started to offer personal finance classes. Now, I can see the difference it has made to the students. They are more aware of their spending habits and are more financially responsible.

An 11-year-old boy in Shenzhen, China; who is addicted to mobile games, was punished by his father and forced to play with his phone for 17 hours straight, according to ET Today.

The father, Huang, said in a video that he shared on Douyin, that he discovered his son secretly playing mobile games at 1.30am last Wednesday.

He then told his son that he would let him play to his heart’s content but he is not allowed to sleep, and about 6 hours later (7.30am), his son was still very alert and continued gaming.

So Huang wrote in to the boy’s school teacher and requested the day off, as his son continued to play on his mobile phone.

However, the boy soon fell asleep at about 1.30pm after 12 hours of gaming, and Huang then woke the boy up and told him to continue with his gaming.

The father said that his goal was to make his son play mobile games for 24 hours since he liked playing so much.

Later that day at about 6.30pm, after 17 hours straight of mobile gaming, the boy begged his father for forgiveness and promised not to play games before sleeping in future.

Huang said in another Douyin video that he chose to punish his son like his because the boy has a high level of fitness, as well as good grades and is obedient.

WIFE SAW HUSBAND’S SEARCH HISTORY & ACCUSED HIM GOING TO TAIWAN FOR GIRLS

0

Have I been gaslight by my hubby or what?

3 years ago right before coviq19 hit, my husband was at a low point of his career, so I encouraged him to go overseas for a breather n think through his next career move. And so he did, together with one of his good guy friend AND my father in law, they went to Taiwan to revisit some old business contacts. (I didn’t join as I had to stay around and take care of our kids).

Everything went well for the trip, he told me they visited several factories and the trip was very exhausting.

A few weeks after he got back, I happened to use his ipad, innocently wanting to use it to Google something. It was then I was awakened by rude shock. I saw some trails on his Google bar indicating that someone searched for “where to find girls in kaohsiung”. I then convinced myself that it was nothing and even deleted the search and swept things under the carpet, not a single question asked.

So fast forward 3 years later which is now, countries start to reopen and without even asking me, he booked a trip to Kaohsiung together with 7 old time guy friends including the one whom went with him 3 years ago. As all of us knew each other including the wives, I thought I shouldn’t be over sensitive and be a spoil sport since all the wives approved this trip without any suspicion. However the memory of me discovering the Google search started to resurface.

So the night before this trip, I decided to confront my husband on this matter. His body language and facial expression didn’t convince me that he was telling the truth.

I told him if he were to do anything funny in kaoshiung, please try not to leave trails. Then I went on to reopen the can of 3 years old worms.

He didn’t deny but got agitated and asked me if I actually saw it on MY Google. I said no and i saw it on HIS. He went on to say I didn’t trust him and said it was just Google suggestions and he even swore that he told his 7 khakis that he prayed that all of them will come home safe so that there won’t be 7 widows bla bla bla and that not all men are just thinking abt sex and this trip was meant to be a guys bonding trip and nothing else. He also added that even if someone did the search, he wouldn’t know if its his friend who did it.

Guys can you please enlighten me? How does Google work? It’s obviously under Google search history but he said its a Google suggestion? Is he telling the truth or am I overthinking?
