MAN PITY JB MASSAGE VIETNAMESE GIRL & GAVE HER $2,000, NEXT DAY MIA

0

A netizen shared a story about how his friend took pity on a girl who gave him a massage and later asked him for money.

We all know how bad the story will end.

Here is the story:

I went with my friend to Johor 2 weeks ago for a 1-day getaway. Go in eat some Malaysian food get some drinks and a massage.

We were staying at the KSL hotel and we were looking for a massage parlour before we have our meal.

So we randomly walked into one massage unit, the place look very clean at the reception but the rooms look terribly dirty but we already agreed so we went ahead.

My friend and I were led to separate rooms by two Vietnamese ladies and we started our 1-hour massage, the massage feels like a cat making cookies. No power at all sibei rubbish.

After 30 mins or so the lady started to near my special area and I knew what was it and immediately said no.

So I end up getting touched for 1 hour without feeling good at all.

My friend came out about 5mins after me and told me it was fantastic, I bet he paid for the extra services.

We went to eat and my friend describe how much he enjoyed it and took the Wechat contact for the girl for whatever reasons.

I did not think much of it, we went to drink and the 1 day get-away was over.

But the story hasn’t ended, last week he told me he went to Johor again and said that he went to find the massage girl for a date.

I did not go as I was busy working.

Here comes the juicy part, yesterday he called me and said that he need to go to Johor again and asked me to accompany him. He sounded agitated and I asked him why.

He said that during the last weekend he gave the girl $2,000 as her mother needed money for surgery and promised my friend she will pay it back after a month. After giving her the money, the woman disappeared and blocked him on WeChat.

I was thinking in my mind, she works massage must press how many to get $2k, sure cannot one. Plus this kind of story he also believes. Even if we go back to the massage shop to look for her also got a lot of trouble.

So I told him no way I’m going there to start a dispute.

He told me that he had feelings for the girl and trusted her, This is not the first time he got cheated. He is always confused between the feeling of love and the feeling of lust.

He asked me what to do, I tell him there is nothing he can do. Maybe can consider cutting the Ku Ku bird and start thinking with the right head.

GRABFOOD RIDER SHARES CREEPIEST STORIES, DELIVERING FOOD AT NIGHT

0

A Grabfood delivery rider shared his creepy experiences delivering food at midnight, including getting an order to send to a cemetery, and seeing a pontianak at the side of the road.

Here is what he said

I have been working as a Grabfood rider since 2019 after I ORDed from the army, and I have seen my fair share of creepy and spooky incidents.

Reason why I work as a food delivery rider, is because I don’t have much education, last time always play punk in school, and because if you work hard with Grabfood, you can bring home $2k-$3k comfortably, but must whack the orders ah.

I deliver food using my Vespa, so okay ah not bad and not as tough as the cyclists, especially when going uphill.

Delivery order from cemetery at 1am

Anyway there was once I was doing food delivery at night, and at the time I had no orders, so I was smoking beside my motor and waiting for the order to come in.

I was at Jurong Point when I got an order from McDonald’s, I took a quick glance at my phone before hurrying to the outlet to grab the food, because I was trying to do more orders for the day.

I picked up the food and opened my phone and saw that the delivery location was at Cemetery North Street, at Lim Chu Kang Cemetery.

The time was about 1am and although it was the middle of the night, ok la still got people around so I not that scared.

I thought maybe somebody working at the cemetery ordered supper or something, and I just making a living so I just go je.

Along the way as I riding, it felt very eerie, because the further away i rode, the more ulu it was along Jalan Bahar, and I was riding with my headlight on near the cemetery entrance.

You can try ah, riding at 1am alone outside a cemetery in the darkness, damn scary.

I following my GPS location and reached the place but cannot find anyone to pass the food to, I message and called the customer from the app but no reply and no answer.

I called grab support and they also cannot reach the customer, so bopian ah end up I eat the food myself.

Not really anything supernatural or paranormal, but the experience was quite scary.

Pontianak

Another creepy incident that happened to me is definitely supernatural.

Because I usually do most of my orders at night, I spend a lot of my time on the road at night until the sun rise, because the weather more cooling and peaceful ah.

So I was sending one order near Boon Lay and riding on this road by myself when I suddenly smelled frangipani flowers.

It was quite weird because there wasn’t much trees or even flowers around and I wearing full face helmet, so how to smell anything? Unless the source of the smell is inside my helmet or very near me.

I then heard a woman laughing, and it sound like it come from beside me. But I riding motor sia, how to have someone laughing beside me?

I look to my right because that was where the sound was coming from but nothing ah, I then turn my head back to look in front of where I was riding and in the distance I saw a white figure standing at the side of the road.

I sped past the figure and thought okay ah maybe tired, imagining things, then astaghfirullah I saw the same figure standing at the side of the road again.

And the frangipani smell getting stronger and I starting panic already, so i faster ride away and when I saw another car in front I was damn happy because finally got someone else.

I knocked on the driver’s window at a red light ah, and asked him if he saw the same thing I saw, and the uncle nodded his head.

I very badly wanted to use the word “pontianak” but I know if I said it out, sure kena one. But I know that the uncle knew what I was talking about.

He tell me that road quite dirty ah, he drive down here all the time and see many times already, tell me to just say a prayer and go home bathe and wash away the bad luck.

M’SIA POLICE SEEKING S’PORE MEN WHO PEED UNDER TREE @ JOHOR CIQ COMPLEX

The Malaysian police are seeking two men driving a Singapore-registered car, who were seen urinating under a tree near the Johor Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex, according to Free Malaysia Today.

They were seen driving their Singapore-registered vehicle at the border at about 11.10am on 11 June, and were seen standing side by side as they urinated under a tree.

The Iskandar Puteri district police chief, Rahmat Ariffin, said that the police would like to record the two men’s statements, under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act, with guilty individuals being fined RM100.

The Malaysia Police’s investigations revealed that the incident had taken place near the entrance for light vehicles entering Malaysia from Singapore.

At the time of the incident, there was also mild congestion.

However, Ariffin noted that the two human sprinklers would have caused the congestion to worsen had they stopped their car to go to the toilet.

He added that they will be conducting surveillance to prevent such incidents from reoccuring.

AIA APOLOGISES FOR INSURANCE AGENT TAKING BALLOON BACK FROM CHILD

A Facebook user, Nazreen Ogisi, said in a Facebook post on 13 June that an insurance agent from AIA allegedly gave her daughter a balloon but then took it back after finding out that the woman didn’t fit their customer profile.

AIA Singapore has since said in a statement that they are “sorry for the unpleasant experience” and that they have “counselled the representatives involved in this incident”.

The company added that they have reiterated their roadshow guidelines to all of their insurance agents and are working closely with them to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism.

AIA Singapore also added that the team has “connected with the individuals involved to address their concerns”.

The insurance company also added that while insurance representatives or agents are authorised representatives of AIA, they are not employees of the company.

Give balloon then take back

The incident in question happened on 10 June at Century Square Mall, where Ogisi was with her 2-year-old daughter when they were approached by an insurance agent.

The insurance agent gave the little girl a balloon, and Ogisi then understood that the lady was an insurance agent from an AIA roadshow booth nearby.

She then proceeded to answer some of the insurance agent’s questions, but after that, the agent then took back the balloon from the child, allegedly because the woman didn’t fit the insurance agent’s customer profile.

Ogisi then took to Facebook to call out the insurance agent’s lack of professionalism.

NEA RELEASING AEDES MOSQUITOES INFECTED WITH “WOLBACHIA” IN 8 AREAS

The National Environment Agency (NEA) will be releasing male Aedes aegypti mosquitoes infected with Wolbachia across 1,400 additional HDB blocks to fight Dengue Fever, according to Minister for Sustainability and Environment, Grace Fu.

The release of the Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes will cover 8 new locations, including:

  • Bedok North
  • Bedok Reservoir
  • Choa Chu Kang
  • Geylang
  • Hougang
  • Punggol
  • Sengkang
  • Woodlands

Residents living in these areas will be informed before the mosquitoes are released.

Here is the NEA’s statement in full

Singapore, 15 June 2022 โ€“ Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, Ms Grace Fu, announced at the Asia Dengue Summit today that NEA will be releasing male Wolbachia-carrying Aedes aegypti mosquitoes (Wolbachia-Aedes) in 1,400 additional HDB blocks across Singapore from July 2022. The releases are expected to reduce the urban Aedes aegypti mosquito population (dengue vector) in these high-risk areas, and help understand the impact of Wolbachia technology on dengue cases.

Eight new study sites to receive male Wolbachia-Aedes releases

2          NEA will expand the releases of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes to eight additional sites in a multi-site field study. The eight locations are Bedok (Bedok North and Bedok Reservoir), Choa Chu Kang (Yew Tee), Geylang, Hougang, Punggol, Sengkang and Woodlands (see Annex for Location Maps of Study Sites for NEAโ€™s Multi-site Field Study). While the releases will suppress the urban Aedes aegypti mosquito populations in these sites, data collected will also help to determine the impact of the technology on dengue cases and clusters. The study has been scientifically designed, with the sites selected based on a set of criteria โ€“ historical dengue risk level, Aedes aegypti population, the size and landscape of the area, and NEAโ€™s capacity for producing and releasing male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes.

3          With this latest expansion, the coverage of Project Wolbachia-Singapore will increase from the current 19 per cent to about 31 per cent of total HDB blocks in Singapore. Five square kilometres of landed residential areas have also been covered. Selected construction sites and non-HDB residential sites in dengue high-risk areas will also see releases. Community and residents of release areas will be informed prior to the start of the releases.

Good results in current study sites; sustained releases still needed

4          Since April 2022, NEA has achieved full coverage of male Wolbachia-Aedes releases in Tampines and Yishun and started large-scale releases in the Marine Parade landed residential estate. High-risk areas in parts of Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok HDB towns will also continue to get targeted releases of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes. The results have been promising thus far. In Tampines and Yishun, where there has been more than one year of releases, we have previously observed up to 98 per cent reduction in the dengue mosquito population and up to 88 per cent reduction of dengue cases. Similar observations have been made in the current dengue outbreak where these areas have 70 per cent less dengue cases compared to similar areas without Wolbachia. The positive outcome of the field studies at release sites have shown that continued releases of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes can successfully suppress the female urban Aedes aegypti mosquito population in Singapore.

Phased approach and testing different strategies help NEA in future wider scale deployment

5          As Singapore is the first country to trial and implement the use of this technology in a high-rise, high-density tropical environment, releases were first rolled out gradually in a phased approach, allowing for systematic and rigorous reviews. Carrying out different release strategies in different areas and landscapes also allows NEA to determine the most effective and impactful approaches for wider scale deployment.

6          When NEA first started Project Wolbachia in 2016, only 39 HDB blocks and over 3,900 homes were covered. Today, Project Wolbachia has covered about 1,800 HDB blocks across study sites in Yishun, Tampines, Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok towns, and within five square kilometres of landed estate at Marine Parade, comprising some 160,000 homes. With the multi-site field trial, over 300,000 homes will be covered.

7          โ€œThe expansion of the project to multiple sites is a very exciting and important next step in Project Wolbachia-Singapore. NEA is very encouraged by the results in existing study sites which have shown the effectiveness of the Wolbachia technology in the reduction of Aedes aegypti mosquito population in these areas. As Project Wolbachia successfully suppresses the population of dengue vector in release sites, the community is urged to cooperate with the programme in preventing the resurgence of mosquito abundance by removing mosquito breeding habitats. Having breeding sources of mosquitoes in the community will reverse the impact achieved by the technologyโ€ said Associate Professor Ng Lee Ching, Group Director, Environmental Health Institute, NEA.

Scaling up made possible by collaboration with partners

8          To support its project expansion, NEA will increase the number of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes produced per week from the current 2 million to 5 million by end 2022. Increased capacity for expansion of Project Wolbachia is made possible by NEAโ€™s collaboration with our partners Orinno Technology Pte. Ltd. (Orinno), Verily Life Sciences (Verily) and the National Robotics Programme, that looks at the end-to-end development of differentiating robotic enablers and solutions in Singapore. Orinno co-develops technological solutions for the mass production, gender-sorting and release of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes using automation technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Such technological developments have improved the efficiency of mosquito production by up to 40 times, as compared to manual methods. Verily complements NEAโ€™s mosquito production and release efforts and has contributed to the gender-sorting and release of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes at the Tampines and Marine Parade study sites.

Project Wolbachia โ€“ additional novel tool to fight dengue

9        Against a backdrop of favourable climatic conditions, low herd immunity, presence of Aedes aegypti and endemic circulation of the virus, Singapore has experienced regular outbreaks. 2022 has been a challenging year thus far as we faced an early surge in dengue cases and numbers are expected to hit a record high, with more than 14,000 dengue cases reported to date, exceeding the total 5,258 dengue cases reported in 2021.

10        The Wolbachia technology will complement existing community efforts and vector control operations to reduce the dengue vector in our community. The tool has been shown to be useful for reducing the risk of dengue transmission in a local area, typically taking at least three to four months to effect significant reduction of Aedes aegypti population. Moving forward, NEA will assess the use of the technology as an additional tool to interrupt active dengue clusters.

11        โ€œBusiness-as-usual is not an option given the escalating threats of dengue. Novel technologies, including Wolbachia and dengue vaccines, provide new tools to complement and strengthen existing dengue control efforts, and prevent epidemic transmission of this disease. The results observed with Project Wolbachia to date are promising, but it is important for the Singapore community to realise that it is not the silver bullet that will control dengue alone. It is thus important for the community to continue staying vigilant and take steps to fight dengue,โ€ said Professor Duane Gubler, Dengue Expert Advisory Panel Chairman and Emeritus Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore.

Community to continue staying vigilant and take steps to fight dengue

12        Even as we roll out Project Wolbachia-Singapore to more areas, the technology is not a panacea and its effectiveness may be hindered by mosquito breeding in the community. Residents and businesses throughout the country, with or without Wolbachia-Aedes releases, must ensure good housekeeping to keep our homes, premises and estates free from mosquitoes and dengue. We seek everyoneโ€™s support to stay vigilant and do their part to prevent dengue.

GROOM HITS BRIDE DURING WEDDING AFTER LOSING IN A GAME

0

Aggression against a female individual has struck again, this time in Uzbekistan previously a group of China men were seen attacking a woman in a restaurant.

In this incident, a wedding was taking place and the groom and bride were seen playing a game on the stage as part of the wedding event.

Beating Wife on Wedding Night

As the bride raise her arms and cheer in a victory against her groom, the groom immediately took a swing at her, in the video posted by Twitter User Leila Nazgul Seiitbek said:

“In Uzbekistan, the groom hit the bride right at the wedding in front if guests, relatives, families from both sides. Noone stopped him, no one to defend her. Footage shows the couple participated in game, after which he hit her.

We need an @WomanTreaty urgently”

The incident took place right in front of the relatives and guests. And everyone just watched and smiled awkwardly.

It is astounding that no one takes any action against the groom.

Typically, men in Uzbekistan do not get any punishments unless it is made known and after it has gone viral, a public outcry.

3 such occurrences in Uzbekistan

This is not the first time an incident like this took place in Uzbekistan, back in 2019, a man was also seen slapping his bride during a wedding after she teased him by not giving him a piece of cake.

Another incident between a man and his wife where the wife is tied up and tied with bricks and tyres around her neck.

The man then splashes water on her.

In the Twitter post by Lelia Nazgul Seiitbek, she said that

“Another example of husband/wife dynamics in Kyrgyzstan, Suzak. Case is from 2020. Husband got 2 yrs probation due to wide publicity which rarely happens. Her son was defending father, everyone pressed wife to withdraw complaint… 1 in 3 women is a survivor of VAWG worldwide.”

ELEPHANT TRAMPLED WOMAN TO DEATH, THEN TRAMPLED ON HER BODY AGAIN @ FUNERAL

An elderly woman in India, 70-year-old Maya Murmu, was trampled to death by an elephant while fetching water from a well in Odisha on 11 June, according to The National News.

She died from her injuries and her family then gathered for her funeral, but the elephant that killed her then showed up again at her funeral.

It then trampled on her dead body and threw it, before fleeing the scene. Quite bizarrely, nobody else at the funeral was attacked by the elephant, except for the deceased.

The elephant is believed to have strayed away from the Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary that is situated about 200km away from where the victim was first trampled to death.

Rise in fatal elephant attacks

Over the last 7 years, about 3,300 people in India have been killed by elephants, with the fatal attacks increasing in recent times.

Founder of the Save The Asian Elephants conservation charity, Duncan McNair, described the attack on Murmu as “surprising” because there was no provocation of the animal.

He said that the elephant’s attack on the deceased’s corpse could be due to it thinking the victim was a threat to its herd, according to Newsweek.

CHAMPION DRIVER PARKS CAR ON KERB BECAUSE THE WORLD IS HIS CARPARK

A video emerged online showing a car parked illegally on a kerb at Upper Thomson Road, and blocking part of the road.

The video was captured on the dashcam of another car that was unable to drive forward due to the Mazda taking up space in front.

The vehicle, a white Mazda, was seen in the video being parked illegally, with half the car blocking the road and the other half on the walkway.

A woman was seen alighting from the illegally parked Mazda, as the camcar slowed down behind, unable to drive forward.

The driver of the Mazda, was also seen in the video gesturing at the camcar driver to drive forward, standing in front of the car to “show” the amount of “space” that was available.

The camcar driver then slowly inched forward but the space was too narrow and unable to proceed.
