AUNTIE USE PLASTIC BAG TO PLAY HIDE-AND-SEEK WITH COVID-19

A photo emerged online showing an ingenious way of protecting oneself from Covid-19.

An aunite was seen wrapping her head fully inside a plastic bag, presumably to play hide-and-seek with Covid-19.

If she cannot see the coronavirus, the coronavirus probably cannot see her too.

WHEN CAN WE TRAVEL AGAIN, WHEN WILL NORMAL BE BACK

Well, there is no stopping for most of the travelers that want to leave Singapore, however many other countries might not even allow tourists in, and at the same even if it’s allowed, it makes no sense to be quarantined for up to 14-21 days and spend a maximum of only 14 days at the destination.

With the ever-changing situation of many countries, the rules or travel bubbles may cease to exist anytime.

Do note that even if you fall into any of the categories it is based on a case-by-case basis. Even if you are allowed to go in you will need to be quarantined for 21 days (previously 14), and only allowed to stay for up to 14 days.

Meaning if your allowed entry you must be prepared to stay in Vietnam for over 3 weeks or even 1.5 months.

MAN ACCUSED MILLIONAIRE FRIEND OF STEALING $50

A story was send in after two friends got into a quarrel after a $50 note went missing. Three people were on scene and the victim accuse the rich guy for stealing and committing the petty thef.

Here is the story:

I was drinking at my friend’s house along with another guy and both of them were drunk but I was still sober. I went home and left them there, the other guy was drunk and slept over at his house.

The next morning my phone was bombarded with a ton of text from the house owner claiming that $50 has gone missing from his wallet. The other guy who was at the house with me has always lived on stealing, cheating and he was always a cheapo who is poor.

My friend knew that I stayed in a bungalow and I a millionaire and have no worries for money as I am drawing a decent salary as well. Instead of blaming the other person, he blamed me for stealing $50.

I have no need to commit a crime for $50 and he refused to listen or talk to me because he believed in his low-life friend.

Sometimes, people are blind they believe who they wanna believe but never goes through a logical thought process.

DELHI’S HEALTH MINISTER: “IT IS WRONG TO SAY THERE’S NO S’PORE VARIANT”

In the wake of Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s “Singapore variant” remark and urging India to ban all flights with Singapore, Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain has since joined the fray and said that there is a “different strain” of Covid-19 in Singapore.

Jain said:

“There are many strains of coronavirus in India at present… Their presence is ascertained through genome sequencing. It is a different strain (in Singapore) indeed. Whether it is from Singapore, Delhi, America or London, what”s important is that the strains are different.”

He then categorically highlighted his point:

It is wrong to say it is not a different variant… The picture will be clear in some time. We will inform you about it.”

Jain’s remarks come hot on the heels of Singapore’s MFA reaching out to the India’s High Commissioner, P Kumaran, to express concerns over Kejriwal’s “Singapore variant” remarks.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health also released a statement addressing the claims.

Most notably, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan also took to social media to respond to Arvind Kejriwal.

THAI RESTAURANT AT GOLDEN MILE ALLEGEDLY SELLING PIG BLOOD CURD

A Thai restaurant located at Golden Mile Tower is being investigated for allegedly selling pig blood curd (think beancurd, but made with pig blood), according to a media released earlier today (19 May) by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

An operation was conducted at the restaurant, which is unnamed, by the SFA, who acted on a tip off.

SFA found the restaurant selling a dish containing pig blood curd, and is now being investigated for the illegal sale and possession for sale of animal blood curd.

Unsold pre-packed pig blood was also seized.

The sale of animal blood food products are banned in Singapore, because blood can easily support the growth of bacteria and spread diseases.

It can also introduce food borne pathogens into blood food products.
