GOLD DIGGER WANTS HER MEN TO HAVE A CAR BEFORE SHE WILL DATE THEM

0

Back then I believed in true love but I started to see the comfort of another woman, they have boyfriends to chauffeur them around and I’m taking bus and MRT with my boyfriend.

Soon I got a bf with a car, but it was an old broken piece of junk he calls it a “car”. It was so noisy and the aircon was never cold. I ended it with him because I did not feel comfortable. I needed some more atas car to fit me.

So, I’m a gold digger. But not the way you’re thinking about it, I’m a pro. I check the newspapers for financial transactions, then “bump into” someone who’s just made a lot of money and ask them out, that’s how I met my current husband, but he was a player for most of his life so he genuinely thought i was into him (or so i thought at the time).

he implied that he was exhausted from the drama and just wanted a homely girl to be the mother of his children, so i played the part and kept up the charade as we were dating, and then as we got engaged, then married.

Unlike a lot of professional gold diggers, my final goal wasn’t some doormat workaholic husband who will fund a lifestyle of luxury for me as he toiled endlessly while I swiped his credit cards all day. I just wanted to live an upper middle-class lifestyle as a stay at home mom, i genuinely wanted kids, and wanted to be the best mom i could.

But slowly i found myself falling in love with my husband. I lived a pretty brutal life and developed somewhat sociopathic tendencies as a result like being able to use people without feeling guilty and not caring about people, but one day as i woke up next to him and thought about how i would be really broken if he died, or left me somehow i realized my feelings for him were genuine, i felt bad about manipulating him, and after a few weeks i gathered up the courage and told him everything, how I’m a gold digger who wanted him for his money, and how i played a part the whole time so he would marry me, but to my surprise he just laughed it off and went on with what he was doing

He told me he knew all along, and how he was already cynical about relationships and “understood” that whoever he married wouldn’t be 100 percent genuine and that’s just “something you have to deal with” I’m partly relieved that he’s not gonna divorce me, but I’m also bummed out, it’s totally reasonable to not trust me because of what i did, but it’s a bit too much to not trust anyone. Is there any way i can show him that I’m genuinely into him now, and invested in the relationship?

GIRL ANGRY WITH BF BECAUSE HE “SHOOT” ON HER FACE AFTER PIAK PIAK

0

A netizen shared a story about how she got into an argument with her boyfriend because he “finished” on her face when they slept together.

Here is the story:

“Got into an argument with my bf after he came on my face when we slept together – he never did that before so it caught me by surprise.

I felt disgusted and degraded by the act – not to mention his proclamation “Take my holy water!” – but he called me a prude and said all guys do it.

He even claimed that many girls see it as a “badge of honour” on their faces, and showed me thousands of Google images of girls doing it.

I was utterly shocked tbh.

Is that a Western thing, or do yall let your bf/husband disrespect you like this too?”

Editor’s note: I’m sorry but I lost it at “take my holy water”… LOL!

EXPAT SAYS HIS SALARY OF $25K/MTH IS ONLY “MID LEVEL”, NETIZENS ANGRY

0

An expat shared about the animosity directed at them by locals before boasting of a monthly income of about $20k to $25k.

However, he then went on to describe the salary as mid-level, which drew the ire of netizens who called him out.

Here is what the expat had to say:

“Disclaimer: This post is not targeted at causing any racial tension or calling out either Singaporeans or Expats.

A little about me: I am an expat living in Singapore for just over 4 years in my early 30’s with my spouse and young child (also expats).

Both of us work in Tech at relatively mid-level jobs bringing in about 20-25k total a month.

We believe we live fairly modest lives, came from very average families and very average education.

Context: Of late, it feels like there is a lot of disdain and hate targeted at expats.

While these feelings have always been there and we have faced them, it’s never been as open and blatant as it is currently is.

Question: Do Singaporeans really feel threatened by expats that they will take your jobs, or are more preferred in the workforce?”

Editor’s note: $20k to $25k mid-level? What are you working as? Iron-Man?

GIRL MET “WHOLESOME” GUY, BRINGS HER TO HOTEL BUT UNDERPERFORM IN BED

0

A girl shared a story about how she met a “nice” and “wholesome” guy who brought her to a hotel after boasting of his prowess in bed, only to be disappointed.

Here is the story:

“Hello everyone here, first time posting and I need some advice.

So I recently started using a dating app and met a guy there. it started off really well as I thought he was a very wholesome, nice and funny guy.

However, things went downhill after we started meeting up. he started making perverted comments all the time and brought me to hotel 81 under the guise of a staycation.

Upselling himself

He also consistently boasts about his prowess in bed and “Mighty D”, when in actual fact the “m” word we are looking for is “microscopic”.

I honestly don’t know where he gets all this confidence from, and even more confused about how to break it to him that the experience is truly mediocre at best.

Please help provide some advice I am really at a loss of what to do and very scared.”

MALE INSTRUCTOR LIFTS UP WOMAN’S BRA FOR CPR COURSE DEMONSTRATION

0

A netizen shared how she recently got a new job and was sent for a CPR/AED course, and the male instructor lifted up her shirt and bra during the demonstration.

Here is the story:

“I recently got a job as an events organizer and the company sent me for a half-day CPR+AED course with 3 other newbies.

Near the end, the male instructor wanted to demonstrate how males can perform CPR and AED on females. I was 1 of only 3 girls present out of the 15 people in the class so he selected me.

The CPR part was ok, he was v professional in showing how to do it while having minimal contact with my chest.

But when it came to the AED, he stressed that it was very important to remove all clothing before applying the pads.

Then to my horror, he pulled up my shirt and bra, completely revealing my chest to the class. I was frozen in shock as he showed them where the pads should be placed and invited them to look closer, which many of the male students did.

I glanced at the other 2 girls and they looked equally horrified. He droned on about how “modesty is worthless if the person is dead”, “saving her life is the priority”, etc.

While I agree with his statements and concede that he did not touch me inappropriately, I still felt humiliated and wished he hadn’t done it.

My embarrassment intensified when I overheard my 3 male colleagues discussing me in lewd terms after the class.

So my question is, is this worth quitting over? It took me 6 months of applications and interviews to land a job so I really don’t want to, but I just feel miserable thinking about having to work with three creeps who have a twisted perception of me.”

Editor’s note: I highly suggest you report this to the police, really.

WOMAN QUESTIONS IF KARMA EXIST AS EX-BF DOING WELL WITH A NEW GIRL

0

Does karma really exist?

My ex from a decade ago left me extremely cruelly when I was at my lowest. Long story short, the family member I was closest to died mysteriously overseas and my ex was the only person who saw me break down as I was constantly holding my emotions in check in front of everyone else, as my dysfunctional family has shaped me into someone who doesn’t like to cry in front of others.

He claimed that I was too emotional and he can’t handle it, and in my broken down state, I brought up break-up. I didn’t mean it of course, but we ended despite me apologising profusely for it.

We were only together for 10 months, and he was the one who wooed me persistently initially when I didn’t really like him. Well, he got together with an NTU intern 2 months later whom he knew from his company when we were still together. I have never recovered from his cruelty.

4 years after we broke (4 years of him being in a relationship with that intern), he confessed in a late night text that he thought of me once in a while and that he missed me and the moments we spent together. I thought there was some hope of a reconciliation, but of course, it was just late nights words from him that don’t mean much. I did not reply nor kept in contact with him after that as I don’t believe in jeopardising his relationship with her.

I knew from mutual friends that he has been with that intern all along, proposed to her in Australia, and they have gotten married in a beautiful wedding a few years ago. So while a small part of me was feeling heartbroken all over again each time I hear of his news, I was also a little glad that I finally can close this chapter for good, and am also genuinely happy for him. A curious roam on LinkedIn though, led me to discover that apparently, his wife had pursued him the moment she knew him and when I was still with him. Thanks to both of their career timelines on LinkedIn, coupled with all the previous naggy “minor matters” that indicated his change from a loving boyfriend to a less caring one, the puzzles of our breakup and him getting together with her all finally clicked together. The fact that he cheated changed the whole narrative for me internally, and just today, I found out that he already has a baby girl with her. I honestly am still trying to digest my emotions as I’m all shocked and numb.

Everything is going so smoothly for both of them, their careers, relationships, finances, dreams are all fulfilled. He has a nice condo with her, a great car that he fetches her and his baby girl with everywhere, enough money to spend on everything else such as his rolex, secret lab chairs etc. All these while from 10 years ago, I was helping him to quit smoking and taking the train to meet him every single time, dined at hawker centres and coffeeshops so he doesn’t have to spend on me so he can save a little more for his own future each time. He had shared with me that he has always yearned the most for a baby girl to dote as his princess, and yep, his dream came true.

So here I am, reeling in from the shocking discovery of being cheated on 10 years ago, all these while loving him silently and from a distance for the past decade.

I’m still in the same place as I was when he left me so cruelly 10 years ago. No career, no money, no nothing at all. Just a very average plain Jane, with depression and anxiety disorders from all the pains.

Does karma really exist? Why is it that horrible human beings like them managed to do so well in life? Why?

UNI GIRL DATING MAN WHO IS 11 YEARS OLDER, QUESTIONS AGE GAP ISSUES

0

Is it possible to have a relationship with someone who is 11 years older?

I’m currently 23 and still in uni, but this guy is way senior than me and I find him extremely attractive. He goes to the gym regularly, has a very nice body, great smile, good look to me at least, nice personality, friendly, smart, earned a PhD, has a decent job, filial, love animals, has a strong sense of humour, and most importantly is that I don’t see any age gap between us.

He broke up with his ex for like 2 years and has yet to find a girlfriend, so I’m not sure if he wants a relationship or not, but I’m totally up for it.

I’m afraid that he might be too old for me, and my parents are very likely to object our relationship, but I just feel wasted if I don’t try going for it since I really like him a lot.

I have many suitors too but most of them aren’t my type. Is 11 years really a huge age gap?

Here are what netizens think:

  • Two friends of mine have that age gap or more. Not an issue at all. Good luck!
  • I’ve have friends in theirs 30s dating someone in their 40s and one of married and started a family. However the ones who I know that had a relationship or got married younger did not last. Also some guys turn out to be condescending and controlling after you get married and stay together to a younger wife/ aka show their true colours, so I would proceed with caution. I’d say for quite a number of guys after a certain age… there’s a reason they’re still single. If you’re serious date for a longer period of time and clearly communicate what you want and don’t. It’s not enough to trust in him just because he may seem older and more mature with a job and what not.
  • Try lah, what’s there to lose? Buay gam can always break up what. That’s what dating is for? Not asking u to marry him tomorrow
  • Personally I think a reasonable age gap is a healthier relationship (assume no mind gap). Gals need to be pampered, older guys will have gathered sufficient experience how to “guide” the relationship (assume both of you are mind matured). He looks like have a secured job, high prospect. However, one small doubt as you are still in Uni, still a risk as you have not exposed to the working world. Will you meet someone equal or better than him? Will your perspective change later?Jusr my 2 cents!

GIRL WITH ANXIETY DISORDER SAYS SHE FEELS BAD FOR GIVING HER BF ATTITUDE

0

I have anxiety. I didn’t know I have been living with it until I was in my 20s. I’m now dating a really nice guy for the past 9 months but I realise my anxiety is causing him a lot of hurts.

I had a toxic 3-year relationship that really amplified my anxiety and I started going to therapy after we broke up.

I have always been overwhelmed by negative thoughts and in every situation, I would always think of the worst-case scenario so I can be one step ahead as I don’t want to be hurt.

Coming back to my current relationship, while he is nice he doesn’t understand the anxiety.

He finally told me he had enough as I would get overwhelmed and lash out during disagreements when I feel my feelings were invalidated. I would say the meanest things to push him away unintentionally or just say out my feelings which I don’t even know if it real or if it just my anxiety. And it has affected him a lot. I get anxious at a lot of things, such as forgetting an important matter it causes me a lot of stress and he said it stresses him out too.

Even with a year of therapy, anxiety is not something I can manage perfectly and it’s affecting my relationship. I have been reading, I know it’s not intentional and I know my anxiety will never go away.

I do know and realize I need a partner who can fully empathize with my condition, I tried to share my feelings with him, but he told me tried to bear with it and he told me he can’t stand it anymore.

Even when I’m single, having anxiety makes me feel unlovable and negative and unaccepted by society. Although I can put on a good mask for my day to day at work and my friends, whom I am extremely thankful for who assures me when I’m having an anxiety attack, I was able to feel better.

I don’t know if there’s someone out there who can fully accept my condition and support me in my journey or is everyone just going to be pushed away by me when my anxiety acts up.

I really don’t know and I wish I had a choice to not have this and I really have this thought that I’m too much of a burden for anyone.
