Top durian station sucessfully drawing in alot of customers after their durian were sold at better prices compared to many competitors in Singapore
Durians are generally an expensive fruit in Singapore and those some special variety are even more expensive, like the Mao Shan Wang.
However, Top Durian station is selling them at good prices.

According to a video uploaded by Roads.sg, they said “Drunkard jaywalker stopped in front of my vehicle and approached in a confrontational way. No time for such nonsense and decided to move on.”
The incident happened along Beach Road in front of Golden Mile last night (June 26) at 10.01 PM.

A netizen who was visiting Geylang with his friend for supper encounter a rude ah beng who started to harass them to his secret hideout of what he describes as “chicken”.
Here is the story:
I was eating some China food at Geylang with my buddy and we were walking around in random areas of Geylang because we were too full after the meal.
We ended up at Geylang Lorong 28 and we tried to explore the back alleys for fun. A typical “Ah Beng” stop us and asked if we were looking for some “chickens”, we ignored him and continue walking.
He followed me and tug my shirt and said “Find chicken ah, follow me. Gor Gor bring you“. I brush his hand aside and I said I not looking for any. He then showed his mobile phone to us showing a bunch of girls from a website.
He then gave a rude gesture and said “nabei waste time”, We ignored him and continue walking. We did not want to respond to him further as we do not want to start an incident with a Geylang Ah beng.
The funny thing is he was the one that approached me. What is wrong with these people, Covid is already affecting our lives so much still got this kind of clown wants to make easy money by being a pimp.
A customer who was visiting ION Orchard accused a customer to repeatedly going to the shop to collect a free sample.
Here is the story:
“Went to ION Dior, this guy here accuse me of going before to collect a free sample. Which I didn’t even do that he continued to accuse me.
I want to do a purchase yet, the bad service delivery service just made me turn away from the counter. Till the very end no apologise from the guy. His colleague did apologise on his behalf then he again didn’t apologise.
Kept continuing to accuse me. He can take out the CCTV I didn’t even go before their outlet.”

Other netizens who saw the post said that the high end retail boutique stalls often have staff who think highly of themselves.

According to Singapore Food Agency (SFA), 101 people were reported to have gastroenteritis symptoms after dining at Eng’s Heritage which is located at Northpoint City (930 Yishun Ave 2, Northpoint City, #B1-51).
In a span of 3 days, 12 diners were hospitalised and have since been discharged.
The Ministry of Health(MOH) and Singapore Food Agency (SFA) conducted an inspection of the restaurant on 11 January 2021. Several hygiene issues were found and SFA took actions against Eng’s Heritage for the lapses and the restaurant was suspended by SFA from 13 January to 26 February 2021.
Food Hygiene Grade drop from “A” to “C”
Since June 25 the restaurant food grade will be adjusted to C and the restaurant will be reviewed by the relevant authorities in the next 12 months. The restaurant will also under be kept under surveillance.

Why oh why I ask. You may need to claw back to top up the national coffers but do your leaders even know it’s a horrible timing to do so now. This hawker had been languishing in sales this whole year.
Even with this 2 people rule ( even with the promised 5 people rule next month), things aren’t looking rosy for them. Lotsa folks are buying online and WFM, a seductive and convenient culture ingrained into us over the last year and many offline hawkers are left to dry out. Two to a table with 3 turns at peak lunch hour is only 6 dishes n drinks, that’s just scratching at hope’s door. Top that up with this “professional valuers” decree that rents must be raised now, it is another death knell for the #supportourhawkers movement.
Say, did these pro valuers value the pricing of our affordable hawker food and suggest it should also be raised by 40% and recommend a campaign to inform public they should all, well heeled and disadvantaged, be paying lots more for the makan..to be in line with world standards? Selling food at such low prices to keep the less blessed well fed in fully developed Singapore..is a compassionate duty and responsibility.”
NEA explains after the post went viral
“In recent years, rental revision upwards at tenancy renewals in our hawker centres have not exceeded $300. On the other hand, there have been rental revisions downwards of more than $300 upon tenancy renewals. It is misleading to look at percentage increases alone as a $300 increase from a low rental will appear as a large percentage increase.”
A video was uploaded by a cyclist earlier today, he spotted a cyclist who beat the red light.
He then catches up to the cyclist and told him to obey traffic rules but he was told off instead. The errant cyclist then challenged the other cyclists. According to the video, the incident happened June 26 around 9AM.
It happened along Pasir Panjang Road towards West Cost Highway.
The infamous no badge lady was spotted again at Marina Boulevard yesterday (June 27).
The 53-year-old Phoon Chiu Yoke is coming again. Once again not wearing a she was photographed and posted online. Causing heated discussions among netizens.
Some netizens said that she seems to be exercising and holding a pack of drinks in her hand.
If she is really drinking water, she may not need to wear a mask. However, some members of the public pointed out that perhaps this is exactly how she saved herself from wearing a mask.
She is currently out on SGD8,000 bail, she will be back in court on July 6.
