Nick Chong Seng Cheong, 24-years-old, was jailed 2 years and 10 months after pleading guilding to 3 counts of sexual penetration of a minor and one count of possessing obscene films, another 7 charges were taken into consideration.
Chong has entered into a friends with benefits arrangement with a 13-year-old girl and engaged in criminal sex acts with her for more than a year.
He was 21 to 22 years old at the time and he met the first on a chat application,where they had sexual chats.
They would also exchange obscene photos of themselves.
Chong asked the girl to be “friends with benefits”, which the girl agreed, providing she was paid.
Chong was already aware that the girl was $13 by this time, and the two would then meet for sexual activities at a handicapped toilet at a Tampines shopping mall.
He would then pay her between $30 to $50 for each session.
To get the girl into the hotel that required her to show her identity card and reveal her age, chong would go to the hotel first and pick her up from the lobby, pretending that she was his sister.
The girl lodged a police report on 12 March 2019, saying that she had sex with several men, Chong was then charged following investigations.
A 23-year-old male Indian foreign worker tested positive for Covid-19 despite being vaccinated on January and February.

Earlier today(12 April 2021), Aaron Chua Jun Hao (Club Mao bouncer) pleaded guilty to causing hurt by acting rashly.
Chua witnesses an incident of two men in their 30s getting stabbed with a foldable knife at Kramat lane and he tried to handle the situation but got charged instead.
On July 25, 2019, Chua was drinking at Club Peaches in Concord Shopping (Shopping) and he witnessed a fight between Shaun Koh Kim Guan and two other men. Bouncers working in Club Peaches escorted the 3 out of the club to Kramat Lane.
Chua followed and decided to see what was going on, As the dispute gets more heated Shaun pulled out a knife and stabbed the other two, bouncers from Club Peaches and Club One Min saw the incident and gave chase to Shaun.
Chua drove his rental car to give chase as well. He hit Shaun with his vehicle causing him to fall, Shaun got up and tried to run away but Chua repeated “banging” his car to knock Shaun down a total of 3 times.
The bouncers who were chasing on foot managed to catch up and pinned Shaun on the ground while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Shaun was later arrested at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Chua will be back in court on April 30 for his sentencing.
According to the media release, the National University of Singapore has yet performed another disciplinary action against a student after he was found filming 2 girls which he had sex without their consent.
To protect the identity of the people involved, The student could not be named. The only information shared by NUS to the media is that the student is in his 4th year in NUS

A woman reported to the Police after a woman came to her house and shouted in front of her unit claiming that she was the cause of a cat’s death.
The woman quickly addresses the claims and even reported the incident to the Police.

“I have been advised by the police to put an announcement that the matter involving Snowy’s feeders is under police investigation. The person who has been making the allegations that I had tortured Snowy to death is George, who runs Oreo & Her Community cat FB page. Other than his first name, I don’t know much about him.
I don’t have his address or other more personal details.Before I took Snowy to the vet, I took the trouble to look for the feeders, spoke to George, met the feeders, had a discussion, made it clear to them no invasive treatments would be used on Snowy, allowed them to follow us to the vet, allowed them to have my personal details such as address n tel number.
I even allow them to bring Snowy to my house so that they know who am I n they didn’t have to worry. The vet had also agreed not to conduct any invasive tests and keep Snowy’s treatment as simple as possible. Subcut was clearly explained and demonstrated to George and I explained again to him over the next few days. However, after all the hard work of explaining, George kept telling me I was torturing Snowy with animal experiments.
We did subcut on Snowy twice and since she resisted, it’s only common sense to stop. The function of palliative care is to provide comfort not to cure or treat the problem. I don’t know why this is so hard to understand. Anyway, since George is not letting go of this matter and had previously announced on his Oreo page that I had tortured Snowy. He put my full name in the post although I had never named him in any of my previous posts.
He put my fb link and made me identifiable. Again he is trying to make me into a target of hate. He had already done so previously which was why a woman had come to my house to scream at my gate “You bloody b****. You killed Snowy!!”.
George said in a separate post he will continue to “expose” me. This is bizarre because I am very sure he knows I didn’t abuse or torture Snowy. If this is true, he would have come over to my house to stop me or called the police to arrest me. Anyway, the police told me to post my police report in this group but block out the details.
This incident is damaging to our cat community because AVS and TC will hear about this. Right now, we need a logical brain and formal investigation to clear the air. My conscience is crystal clear. George can say whatever he wants but the vet and I know we are just here to help a sick cat. We didn’t know it will turn so ugly but it did.”

I just want to share my experience buying a ghost house in singapore.
I still remember when my office phone rang, my wife was on the line saying that she spotted a good HDB 4 Room house deal at Jurong west street 91. I am not going to reveal the block number to prevent scaring the people living the blocks in that particular street.
So, we arranged a viewing with the agent and bought it on the spot!
A little bit of history I am going to mention so that if you came across similar case do consider carefully. When we viewed the flat, we found that it was renovated extensively, and we were told that the owner only stayed for a short while and moved out.
As the owner had bought the flats from HDB direct, they cannot sell the flat yet (5 years rule), so they moved out to a rented flat and later rented a shop unit.
I came to know from research online and other families nearby that Jurong West was previously a cemetery like lim chu kang cemetery (which explained the close distance) and it had been reclaimed for the housing projects. Aka which meant I lived above a cemetery/dead people. More I research, more I find out that many blocks in Jurong west are haunted through the plentiful ghost stories about that place. which scared me as I had just gotten married recently and paid 400k+ for the house.
So please do your research before you purchase a flat which I learn the hard way.
Ok! now I will list all the incidences happened during my two and the half years there.
1) As I was watching TV in the hall, I used to see several times a black shadow darting at the stairs. One night after watching TV alone, I think it was about 2.00am and I was walking to sleep, I heard a voice (very clear) calling me “Papa!” once and instinctively.
I turn my head to my left where the voice came from. My whole body went cold when there was nothing there at all! My wife and only daughter were sleeping soundly.
2) It was in the afternoon; my wife was washing her hair in the toilet.
As she was sitting on the stool bending forward holding the shower above her head washing her hair. Suddenly, she felt that someone gave her a hard push above her head. She unable to see that time coz her eyes were covered with shampoo. Then immediately, she opens her eyes and call out to my daughter. She found that my daughter was indeed downstair playing in the hall all the time.
3) It was when a new neighbour moved in next door and when they came over to get to know us. My wife was at the gate chatting with them. And my daughter and I was watching TV in the hall. The next evening after dinner in the hawker centre, we met them in the lift. Then, during our conversation, they mentioned, “Where is your boy?” We told them that we only got a daughter, but they insisted that they saw themself, my daughter in the hall watching TV and there was a boy at the staircase playing and he was about 5 years old! Both husband & wife saw that!
4) There was one evening at about 10.00pm. I was having my bath then when I turn to face the wall behind me, I got a shocked!! There was a transparent figure like a human (do not know gal or guy) moved from one wall to another!
I was shaking like a leave and naturally used the hot shower spray and spray to that direction.
Nothing happen at all, so I quickly rushed out.
5) This last one is the final straw we able to take before we moved out to our private apartment which happened the tenancy just expires. (Pls note can only sell after two & the half years for resale flat).
I forgot to mention that all this time during the night when we are sleeping in our locked master bedroom, we always heard noises like someone twisting our room handle and trying to open the door. I did check many times to no avail.
Ok! One evening after watching TV, we all went to sleep. As we entered our master room,
I wanted to switch on the TV in the room to continue watching the program. We all got a shock!
There was a pair of deep lighted shinning blue eyes on the TV screen.
The TV was not even switch on! Just to make sure is not a fault, I even pull out the plug from the socket! The pair of eyes was still there!
So, all of us rush to the second guestroom and locked ourselves inside.
Both my wife and daughter are crying like shit. I was also shivering but had to put up a brave front.
While they fallen asleep later, I stayed up till morning. Guess what? We moved that morning!
This is a true incidence witness by three of us! Take care when hunting for a home.
