GIRL GOES HOTEL WITH INNOCENT GUY, EXPECTS RAGING PERFORMANCE FROM HIM

0

A girl shared a story about how she met a “nice” and “wholesome” guy who brought her to a hotel after boasting of his prowess in bed, only to be disappointed.

Here is the story:

“Hello everyone here, first time posting and I need some advice.

So I recently started using a dating app and met a guy there. it started off really well as I thought he was a very wholesome, nice and funny guy.

However, things went downhill after we started meeting up. he started making perverted comments all the time and brought me to hotel 81 under the guise of a staycation.

Upselling himself

He also consistently boasts about his prowess in bed and “Mighty D”, when in actual fact the “m” word we are looking for is “microscopic”.

I honestly don’t know where he gets all this confidence from, and even more confused about how to break it to him that the experience is truly mediocre at best.

Please help provide some advice I am really at a loss of what to do and very scared.”

BF NO MONEY STILL WANT CHANGE TO AUDI AND ASKED GF FOR MONEY

0

Recently my boyfriend of 3.5 years has been talking about buying a new car. Not just any car, but an Audi RS3 which costs over $370,000 for the latest model. He used to own a Golf R a few years back but sold that as it was causing financial strain, and he wanted to buy a motorbike instead. After selling his car his financial situation improved greatly and he currently owns an old runaround car, and a motorbike.

Well recently I got in a car accident where my car was written off, so I used it as an opportunity to upgrade. Using my insurance payout and savings I was able to purchase a nice little GTI which I’m thoroughly happy with. I am comfortable financially and the purchase hasn’t created any strain on my lifestyle.

Over the past few weeks my partner has become fixated on the idea of buying the RS3. I am not keen on the idea, as I think it is unnecessary, and he doesn’t have the funds to purchase it outright. I would prefer for him to save his money as we both would like to purchase a house in the next few years and I know a big car loan will affect our borrowing capacity when applying for a mortgage. We are currently renting and I am keen on us buying a house as soon as possible – although with the house prices it may take a while to save up enough of a deposit.

He’s applied for the car loan and been approved, which he’s ecstatic about and I’m very upset about. I am not the only person trying to convince him that he’s making a mistake – his whole family are despairing over this decision he’s made

Unfortunately, he has now been informed that he needs to pay an additional $2.5k upfront as the car must be insured before he takes ownership of the vehicle. Obviously, he has not budgeted for this and has no savings left. He has asked me to loan him the money and I have refused to state that I do not want to assist him to purchase the car which I believe is going to be a huge financial burden on both of our lives.

As angry as I am about the situation I do feel bad for refusing to help him out of his predicament, as I love him and don’t want to see him struggle.

MARRIED COUPLE HAS A “2ND WIFE” THAT IS SHARED BY THEM

0

A netizen shared that he is married and that he and his wife are dating another girl together, in a “male-female-female” relationship.

Here is the story:

“How do I open up to my conservative friends and family about our girlfriend in a polyamorous (MFF) relationship?

My wife and I have been happily married for 4 years. Six months ago, we both found a girl (I’ll refer to her as C) who melted our hearts. We both went on separate dates with C and eventually she moved in with us.

My wife isn’t mentally prepared to have children yet, but C recently got off contraception after a consensus decision.

We never felt a need to talk about our relationship with others, and many of them think we are just close friends, but we realize it has become somewhat pressing that I inform those around me about our relationship.

When we first started dating, I was able to open up about all of the ups and downs to my best (male) friend. But one day, his fiancee audited his texts and told her that she didn’t approve of him talking to me about polyamory – which I thought was quite petty and insecure – and so I lost that pillar of support.

Many of my close friends are in very committed marriages that motivate their normative views of what makes an acceptable family unit. I tried to steer conversations towards this topic a few times, but no one seems to take it seriously.

The most frustrating response is when you can tell that they think it’s some form of infidelity or fetish.

I also tried to gauge my parents’ opinion on this and asked casually if they were OK if I sought a second wife.

But my mother was vehemently against it with all kinds of non sequitur reasoning, such as “You don’t have enough time to take care of both wives.” (I’m usually the one being taken care of!)

This ended in an argument when I pointed out that it was unfair that they didn’t oppose our Muslim family friends for having second wives.

I already had a hard time years ago when I first introduced my wife as they weren’t expecting her to be Caucasian.

And now that my parents have warmed up to my wife and really dote on her, I feel they’ll be even more outraged if they knew I was about to start a family with C.

My wife and I want C to feel co-equal in our relationship and don’t want her to have an awkward introduction to my friends or family.

It’s quite frustrating that everyone is accepting of the relationship in my wife’s and C’s social circles (my wife is American and C is Dutch), but it is only my Singaporean side that comes across as dogmatic and intolerant.”

WOMAN DIVORCED “MUMMY’S BOY”, TAKE OFF PANTS ALSO MUST ASK

0

A woman shared how she divorced her husband because he is a “mummy’s boy”, and that he needs to ask his mother about every decision that he makes.

Here is the story:

“Hi, Recently I walked out of a marriage as my soon-to-be ex-husband is a mummy boy. Every single decision he will check with his mother.

Eg, buying shirts, he will call his mother and discuss this. And wherever he calls his mother, he will go to another end to speak on the phone.

Some of the weekends, when mother and son go out they will ask me to stay over at my parent’s place.

I am glad that now I made this decision of walking away. There wasn’t much communication between us. He is definitely not an ideal husband.

Taking off his pants is also an issue where he needs to ask his mom.

Guys what are the red flags of a mummy’s boy? Please care to share more of your experience.”

Editor’s note: Does his mother choose the outfits that he wears as well?

BF FOLLOWS ALL INSTRUCTIONS OF FRIENDS, EVEN BREAKUP DECESIONS

0

A girl shared how she was dating her then-boyfriend and sacrificed a lot for him, only for him to dump her because his friends influenced him to.

Here is the story:

“I went into a relationship with this guy last year and he was my first ever boyfriend. I put all my heart and effort in it, giving him all of my free time even though I was busy with uni because I didn’t have any financial power to buy gifts for him.

During the year, I even pushed away most of my friends and befriended his friends instead and I think I got along pretty well with all of them because we would play games together.

It’s been a year and recently I found out that his friends disagreed with our relationship and eventually influenced him to break up with me.

I feel so sad and betrayed because I still had so much feelings for him and I never did anything wrong (betrayal etc) in the relationship.

It’s simply because he started losing feelings for me and the shit talk from his friends. I don’t get why his friends would do that since both of us are their friends too.

Now he still wants to stay in contact with me as friends but I don’t know if I can do it. I gave myself time after the breakup but I still feel very hurt when I think about hanging out with them again.

He said his friends disapprove with the relationship but are still okay to play with me as a friend.

What should I do now?”

Editor’s note: Block him and forget about him, he’s not worth it.

BOSS USE PROMOTION AS A BLUFF TO KEEP EMPLOYEES

0

I work as an apprentice (work and school in the same time, don’t know what it is called) in this company for 3 years as IT engineer. More than 1 year ago all my colleagues (including my CIO) were fired and since I am the only one keeping the business up and running, basically doing the job of 3 people at once.

I never complained, but the boss always praised me and told me I will be the CIO of this company at the end of the contract. I don’t really believe this bull, and good for me, because he delayed my proposal (which they should make, I didn’t ask) every 3 months for different reasons (time, schedule, etc).

Please note that I didn’t receive a dime as a bonus for all the work I did, and every other colleague got their bonuses as expected, even tho I was the most qualified for a bonus.

I never said anything, except that I gave them a delay which of course they didn’t respect. In 3 days from my delay date, I got 3 offers which I signed with one of them. The current company doesn’t know this, and they woke up remembering my contract ends in 3 months and they haven’t offered me nothing yet.

They invited me recently to a meeting to tell them if I’m still interested, to which I replied “yes” haha. They then told me the position of CIO is no longer available since they are not satisfied with the past CIOs and they wanted to remove this position (go figure why).

Today they will come with an offer and I will see what they will offer, but of course, I will not accept it, because I already have my contract signed with another company.

I am eager to see their reaction when they will be faced with the fact that they need to find multiple people to do my job, and actually be competent.

They tried to recruit for 6 months someone under me and they couldn’t so imagine how hard it will be to find someone to replace me.

They probably never thought that I will not accept their offer, since I am new to the “business”, but I already have a contract signed with bonuses that I will never receive at the current company.

Sucks to be a dog and not appreciate hard-working people, but I guess they want to find this the hard way.

BTW they will need to pay at least 50K more for someone to do the job I did, because I was basically the CIO of the company and I am literally the only one who holds the infrastructure up and running.

I will keep you updated.

GF BUYS NINTENDO SWITCH FOR BF, NETIZENS CALL HER SWEET

0

A netizen shared how she bought her boyfriend a Nintendo Switch as a surprise for the anniversary but is afraid he’ll find out before the anniversary as the box is too big.

Here is the story:

“Hi everyone, please help a sister out. I got my bf a switch for the anniversary and I have no idea how to surprise him. You see my idiotic self told him I didn’t get him any physical gift, just a voucher for a restaurant we both love. Given that the box is so huge, i don’t know how on earth I am going to bring it around without arousing any suspicion.

I know I dug myself into this hole but I was trying sooo hard to sell the idea that I seriously did not get a physical gift for him cos the dude would be able to guess what I got for him if he knew I got him a gift.

So to the switch lovers/gamers out there, how would you like to be surprised with a switch?

Thanks, everybody!

Editor’s note: That’s really sweet, surprise or not, I’m sure he’ll be over the moon.

Here are what netizens think:

  • To have a gf that respect what the guys love, please marry her.
  • What a dreamy girlfriend, my gf disrespects me and tell me to stop playing games.

GIRL LEAD ON DATE CAUSE SHE WANTED TO TASTE OTHER GUYS FIRST

0

I have a story to share.

This story is about me and a girl that I met on Tinder last year around May. She goes by her pen name as she likes to write life quotes on her Instagram.

During the time when we were dating, everything went very smoothly, we loved and cared for each other, there was like really no arguments between us, everything is just seem very amicable, we even plan and bought tickets for a trip overseas in January even though we just started dating. In addition, I actually wanted to have an official relationship with her but due to some circumstances from her side, I can’t be in a relationship with her.

However, things suddenly fall apart on a particular day, that day was a Sunday, we went for brunch and then to Hort Park for a walk and lastly went to Vivo to walk around before going back. At night, she sent me a whatapps message saying that she had a very important thing to discuss with me, she asked me is it possible if we become friends and go for the overseas trip as friends, but she mentioned she is still in love with me. I was devastated at that moment but kept my calm and assure her that we can be friends but we need to meet up again to sort of put this chapter as a closure.

During the meet up, she told me the reason that she decided to split this relationship is because she feels a bit choked and feel guilty that she kept rejecting me when I asked her to meet up during our time together. Furthermore, she also said she do not want to be in any official relationship with anyone within this few years. Due to her circumstances, I can understand why she said that even though I know I have compromised a lot during the relationship. For example, there were times she cancel our meet up at the last minute, and I did not even scold her. I just told her it is okay we can meet up again next week or something. This was one of the many things that I have compromised with her.

Fast forward to after the trip in January (Yes we did went for the trip as friends). A week after the trip, I saw her changed her profile on her tinder. We were still matched on tinder when we were together as she told me she didn’t want to delete it and told me to trust her. That day I was supposed to submit my FYP interim report, after seeing the changes in her profile, I was shivering while I confronted her. During the confrontation, she told me at first that she was keeping her options open. I was like WHAT!!! doesn’t that mean that she was keeping her options open to find new guys. Then she told me she was keeping her options open to find new friends. I continue to confront her until she ended up blocking me after I said some unpleasant stuff to her because I was really really hurt. After which I sent a lot of emails to apologize to her as she blocked me everywhere even on social media. She sent back some emails but the last email really hurt me the most, when I asked her why is she not thinking about our wonderful relationship in the past and just let the whole relationship end, she said to be honest she did not think about that before and told me that we have to stop everything and to not email her anymore.

After I told my family and my friends of the whole saga, they told me I was stupid enough to have apologized to her and that she is just making an excuse saying that she is on tinder just to look for friends. After which, I did not sent her any emails anymore and decided it is time to really moved on.

I’m really thankful and grateful to have such loving people around me encouraging me to move on. I’m very sorry that this is a long post, but I just want to share these things to you good people of NUSWhispers. Please feel free to share any opinions you all have. I will read everyone single one of them.

I am very happy to have met you. I have gained tremendous amount of experience being with you. And tbh, it was really one of the best relationship I ever have although sadly we have to end like that. I wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

Cheers to all!! And be happy always!!
