A video uploaded by Tik Tok user Fizalsky has gone viral after a parent who drove off their child to school left them “stunned” by driving off before the students could pick up their bags from the boot.
Some netizens said that the parents “gan chiong” go buy lottery.
A video was recently uploaded by All Singapore Stuff Facebook page, A parent and child board a shuttle bus wfrom Yishun MRT and noticed the bus driver was playing games while driving.
Here is an account of the parent: “I was riding a shuttle bus yesterday from Yishun MRT to Orchid with my boy. I sat behind the driver and notice he was playing a mobile game all along the ride for 10 minutes. Even driving on the curved road, he did not stop! It would not only endanger himself but all the passengers including my boy. I already informed their mgt but didn’t hear anything. How can they be so irresponsible?”
The video has invited many nasty comments on Facebook and said that such actions must have consequences and the lives of many are at stake, both the bus passengers and other road users.
A multi-agency law enforcement operation lasting 1 weeks were conducted by several law enforcement agencies including Jurong Police Station, Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) & Singapore Customs.
The 1 week operation arrested 156 individuals for various kinds of offences.
The Police said that the areas raided included:
Jurong West
Tuas
Choa Chu Kang
Bukit Panjang
Bukit Batok
The operation was conducted on March 24 till the last day of the month lasting a week which lead to the arrest of 132 men and 24 women aged between 17 and 81.
Among those that were arrested, 41 men and 4 women are suspected of prostitution, drugs, traffic, and secret society-related activities and are currently under investigation.Â
44 men and 2 women were arrested under the gambling act. Law enforcement officers also seized about SGD$4,400 and gambling equipment.
Another 24 men and 11 women were arrested on suspicion of running errands and loan scam.
The authorities also believe that 18 men and 7 women were involved in 54 e-commerce fraud and commercial crimes involving more than S$374,000.
The remaining five men were arrested under customs and immigration laws. The authorities also seized 27 packs of tobacco and more than one carton of contraband cigarettes.
LTA has announced the latest review of the ERP rates, a total of 11 gantries will be affected after the adjust men and most gantries will increase by S$1.00.
Places includes several ERP gantries located along AYE and CTE.

Those that were free before will now be S$1 and those that were already at S$1 will become two dollars and so on.
The changes affects 11 ERP gantries from 12th April 2021.

A former senior bank employee was sentenced to 11 months of imprisonment and fined $5,000 for three counts of indecent assault and one count of insulting a woman’s dignity.

He then molested the third waitress by touching her cleavage, gesturing to a friend that her boobs were very small.
When he was later confronted, he said that it was a conspiracy against him because he “irritated” their eyes.
A Mercedes Benz reportedly crashed into the lift of a carpark at Viva Vista Shopping Mall.
The 51-year-old driver was trapped in his seat due to his vehicle turning onto its side upon crashing into the elevator doors, he sustained injuries to his head.
The driver was rescued by the SCDF and conveyed unconscious to NUH.
The lift at the mall was specially made for cars, with the mall’s parking system using a mechanised process for parking.
The driver stopped his car in front of the lift and pressed the button, but when the lift was still on the way down, the driver may have accidentally stepped on the gas pedal by mistake as he was parking, causing the vehicle to move forward and crashing into the door, partially falling into the lift shaft, trapping the driver inside.
At the time of writing, investigations are still ongoing.
8 people were fined a total of $172,500 for selling vapes and their accessories online.
One of them was also jailed for being a repeat offender.
Vapes and accessories worth more than $50,000 were also seized by the authorities.
A 9th offender was fined $500 for possessing a vape.

Suliana Kasim Dapok, 42, an Indonesian maid, was sentenced to 9 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to 2 counts of ill-treating a child.
She was reportedly upset over personal issues and vented her frustrations on a one-year-old baby undeur her care.
The maid started working for the family in Otober 2018, where she had the employer’s 4 children under her care.
The incident happened last year on 8 May, when the baby boy vomited on a carpet at home in the living room.
The accused was cleaning the carpet with detergent when the baby walked towards her.
She then elbowed the baby in the face to prevent him from stepping on the detergent, causing him to fall to the ground and start crying.
The maid then walked towards the kitchen after cleaning the carpet, and she thought the baby would grab her leg.
So she stepped on the baby’s right knee to prevent him from grabbing onto her leg and also because she was furstrated at having to clean the vomit on the carpet.
The baby then cried veen louder.
The child abuse didn’t stop there; 20minutes later, the maid was on the sofa folding laundry when she motioned for the baby to come over.
She then pushed the baby’s head which caused him to fall to the floor.
She then pulled his leg towards her to check on his diapers.
Thereafter, while the maid was getting up from the sofa to put away the folded clothes, she stepped on the baby’s right leg which caused him to cry.
The CCTV inside the home caught her committing the acts and the police were informed by the baby’s mother on the same day.

A man named Azlan shared how he ordered some food for his family from a Sengkang seafood stall via GrabFood and found something in his food that he didn’t expect.
