Another lucky moment to see this nature encounter.

A few months ago, I captured the moment King Cobra was preying on Viper snake. Today I capture the moment King Cobra preying on Monitor Lizard.

Today, I did not bring my tripod, as initially, I was planning to take insects/macro photos at Dairy Farm, but I overslept on the bus and decided to go Bukit Timah.

Great that meet some people that told me about this snake.

I am amazed by Nikon Z Series, Nikon Z7ii with 70-200mm f2.8 Lens.

I can capture the photos and the videos, especially the videos because it’s so sharp and I was handheld without a tripod to record this moment, please see the videos, you can see the process.

A netizen recently posted on Facebook stating his disappointments at Starhub’s customer service.

After ordering from the online store, he went down to the physical store for collection only be told that due to some “technical issues” they could not process the order.

Rude Sales Lady

The man said that the sales lady was rude and unhelpful and they requested for a refund.

It has been months and the customer has yet to receive the refund.

Here is what the thread starter said:

“What appalling service, StarHub! My fathers phone was damaged and wanted to get a new phone recontracted. Ordered it from their online store, paid for it and click and collect from their physical store. Got to the store and was told that due to technical issues they could not proceed with the order even though we had paid for it!! The sales lady was rude and unhelpful. Spent the whole afternoon on the phone to cancel our order. This happened over Chinese New Year period. They promised to refund us within 4 to 6 weeks, since February but it’s now May and we still have not received the refund. Please do better, your lousy customer service is appalling !”

• Sim only plans and buying the phone from an independent retailer (i.e. ah beng shop) is the way to go now. Stopped buying phones with plans from all telcos years ago. Not as cheap as buying from independent shops. You can get quotes and do the math.

• Agree starhub service poor and lousy they only know how to over charge customer I face the same issue please go starhub at your own risk

• I was paying every month about $300-$400 for the StarHub phone bill. In the end I get enough of it and tell them I wanted to break contract… they warned me of the penalty of breaking contract .. I said please go ahead.. in the end I paid $450 penalty and since then my phone bill with other telco not more $30.. and never look back since..

A netizen posted on Facebook claiming that a refund could not be made due to “suspicious activities” on her account.

Here is what she said:

I purchased a product at Lazada platform on 23 April and realised that the product is a pre order with waiting period of 6 weeks I requested for refund immediately after about 15 mins of ordering. However Lazada has rejected my refund ever since citing suspicious activities.

My voucher is worth $223 Did any of you experience such scam from Lazada and what can I do to get back my voucher value pls?

According to the Police media release, a 50-year-old man is under investigation for allegedly making a false report.

He claimed that he was attacked and was robbed of more than $230,000 in cash.

The Police said yesterday (May 1) that they received a report from the man at about 8:30 am on Friday (April 29). According to the man, as he walked to his car he was attacked by three unidentified men with a baseball bat and robbed him of $230,000 in cash from him.

CCTV reveals the truth

Investigations revealed that there were discrepancies between the man’s account and the CCTV footage. He was accused of providing false information and he was not a victim of the case.

Police investigations are ongoing

If it is proven that the man gave false information to public servants, he could be jailed for up to two years or fined, or both.

4 passengers were injured following an accident involving a tower Transit bus and a car in Yishun on 27 April

A spokesperson for Tower Transit said that bus service 858 was involved in an accident with a private hire car at the junction of Gambas Avenue and Sembawang Road at about 8.30pm.

4 passengers were found to be injured, with 2 of them being conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital conscious, according to the SCDF.

An emergency response team was deployed to the site of the accident, said the spokesperson for Tower Transit, and he added that the company has contacted them to check on their condition.

He further added that the bus captain involved in the accident has since been suspended as investigations are being carried out.
