A pedicure shop located at Century Square continuously block customers that leaves them a bad review on their Facebook page.
Here is what the netizen said:
This shop blocked customers and also removed those customers reviews who had posted their dishonest selling tactic to warn other customers.
They also pm customers to remove the Facebook reviews away. Today they blocked me and several other customers who received bad manicure and pedicure services from their shop.
Luckily I already snapshot those reviews down. It’s a gimmick at $18 manicure n pedicure services where they will make u signed for packages and then provide bad services after that.
Fadhillah Kassim, a 65-year-old taxi driver, was fined $8,000 after pleading guilty to one count of sexual communications with a minor.
He had sent sexual messages to an 11-year-old girl on a chat application.
What happened?
He downloaded a chat app sometime in February/March last year to talk to females while he waited for passengers in the taxi queue.
He would make small talk with the girls at first and then ask them sexually related stuffs.
He said that he would act young and not reveal his actual age, reasoning that the girls would try to act young by saying that they were younger than they really are.
An 11-year-old girl (the victim) was on YouTube when she saw an ad for the app, she then downloaded the app because she was curious.
She then got acquainted with Fadhillah on the chat app about a few weeks after.
Fadhillah said that he asked the victim sexual questions because he felt the conversation had gotten “boring”.
He asked her: “How old are you actually, darling?”
To which the 11-year-old girl lied that she was 15.
The man then said “that is sweet” and added that he “loves” it, asking her to let him “take care of you” and told her what he would do to her for $100.
He then asked the girl if she was a virgin.
The victim’s sister saw the chat and their father was informed about it, they took a screenshot of the convo and deleted the application.
They then make a police report.
Fadhillah realised that the victim didn’t respond to his messaged, he then deleted the conversation he had with her, but the police still managed to track him down.
A netizen shared how he stepped on a rusty iron nail nailed onto a wooden plank left behind at a construction site that had since finished their works.
Here is the story:
“On 04/10, time around 9am in the morning. I walked passed BLK 589 and intended to cross Woodlands Ave 1 heading towards my work area next to the mosque up the hill at the front. After walked across the footpath and the moment my foot landed on the grass area, I then accidentally stepped on an unknown object hit in the grass. This object is then found to be the construction left over which is a small piece of wood with rusty nail attached to it. The nail punctured my sports shoe and poked into my foot and it caused me to loose balance and almost fall towards the road kerb.
(The contractor had just completed the footpath upgrading works)
With the pain that I suffered from the nail that still stuck in my foot, I have no choice to half squad and hold my pain and pulled the nail out from my foot and my shoe.
Unfortunately there wasn’t any passerby to help me then i have to sit on the floor to let the pain to settle slightly before I could head toward to see doctor with my limping leg.
I contacted LTA making such complaint the same day in the morning. The CS that answered my call ask me who, how, where and when then told me that an officer with private number will contact for further assistance. However, 24hr had passed, no one from LTA contact me and I did not receive any “private number” as of this present moment.
