S’PORE’S FIRST ELECTRIC BUS THAT FUNCTIONS AS A MOBILE CLINIC

Tampines GRC MP Koh Poh Koon introduced the SATA CommHealth’s new electric medical bus in a Facebook post yesterday

Here is what he said

This is SATA CommHealth‘s new Electric Medical Bus. It is also Singapore’s first electric bus to function as a one-stop basic healthcare mobile clinic.

When fully charged, it can run 200km and support the day’s operations.

The bus is equipped with the capability to provide basic healthcare services and other services like digital retinal photography and diabetic foot screening to the elderly and the needy, bringing preventive care closer to home.

Prevention is better than cure – we will continue to invest more in keeping Singapore healthy for the future. Primary care partners like SATA CommHealth will play a big role in our #HealthierSG movement.

GIRL’S BOYFRIEND KEEPS GROPING AND FONDLING HER, VERY ROUGH

0

Partner (31/m) keeps fondling and groping me (24/f) even after I say something about it

For background, I have been together with him for over 5 years now, been living together for around 5 years as well. Also, apologies for any grammar or formatting issues.

My problem is that he is very… handsy with me. He loves to smack and grab my backside, fondle and play with my chest, touch me between my legs etc.

And he’s not gentle with it either, he likes to grab it like he’s trying to take a piece out of me. He even sometimes bites my more intimate areas. This happens all the time, not only when we’re in the bedroom.

Now, I understand that people show their affection in this way. But I hate it! I don’t feel appreciated or special.

I feel like a piece of meat! Like I’m just an object for him to grab whenever he wants to. And it hurts! Both physically and mentally.

I’ve asked him to stop, told him that it hurts when he does that and that I don’t like it but he thinks I’m over reacting and gets annoyed at me about it.

I don’t want to sound insensitive but he acts like a kid when their candy is taken away. And he just keeps doing it.

It’s been like this ever since the beginning of the relationship and I honestly feel constantly on the edge. Like I don’t have a say over my body just because we’ve been together for so long.

Am I just over reacting to this?

CAR DRIVER VS MOTORCYCLIST AFTER NEAR-COLLISION @ HOUGANG CARPARK

A confrontation between a motorcyclist and car driver took place on 20 April at about 5.45pm, at a carpark at Hougang Mall.

Here is what the rider said

was riding my motorcycle intending to leave the carpark when I saw one white car bearing registration plate numberSML1742T coming out from a lot from my right.

This mentioned white vehicle then hit onto my vehicle when I was travelling straight. We both got off our vehicles and this driver started blaming me insisting that I should be the one slowing down to give him way to drive out from his parking lot.

Netiens’ comments

  • Hello biker, you right of way yes but carry on insist like that one day you meet with a nasty accident. You lucky the car is turn right. If he kuku turn towards you how?  You as rider already can squeeze later let him go first la
  • When you see a car I front slow down or stop. This is basic.
  • You don’t have to give way as you have the right of way, but then you can actually slow down to let the car come out as it is a distance away

M’SIA REGISTERED MOTORCYCLE BEATS RED LIGHT CAUSE “NO CAR” @ SENG KANG

In Singapore, driving or riding rules are normally strictly enforced. Traffic offences like beating a red light often come with a hefty fine and demerit points.

The strict enforcement usually keeps local vehicles in check and no one really wants to pay such a huge fine.

Malaysia registered vehicle

According to a Youtube video published by SG Road Vigilante, a Malaysian registered motorbike fail to conform to red light signal and turned when there was no oncoming vehicles.

One of the netizens commented on the video and said that: “That’s normal thing in Malaysia .. they will follow the rule if see a motorcycle with blue light or car that write POLIS and all Malaysian driver most feared JPJ

Some netizens said that it is not only Malaysian registered motorbikes and said that some Singapore motorbikes ride in a similar manner.

Penalties

Beating the red light is an offence – $400 in composite fine and 12 demerit points.

HUSBAND GOT PROMOTED, TELLS WIFE TO QUIT JOB AND BECOME HOUSEWIFE

0

My husband and I both work fulltime. He recently got a promotion and he now makes twice what I do. Since he got the promotion, he has been pressuring me to quit my job and be a fulltime housewife.

The reason that my husband is into this idea is because that would make me responsible for all the cooking and cleaning.

Right now we split chores evenly since we both work similar hours, and I like that arrangement. My husband is not a fan, he hates having to do chores around the house.

I admit that I would love to not have to work, but the tradeoff being offered is not appealing to me. I suggested that my husband should use some of the extra income to hire a maid service, and then neither of us would have to do the chores.

He accused me of “just wanting to coast off of his money without doing anything” and has been annoyed all morning that I suggested it.

Netizens’ comments

  • So he says you are “coasting off his money” but isn’t he wanting to “coast off your labor”. And whatever you do, don’t quit your job. Ever.
  • “Since he got the promotion, he has been pressuring me to quit my job and be a fulltime housewife.”
First red flag, that’s a big nope, good buddy.
“Right now we split chores evenly since we both work similar hours, and I like that arrangement. My husband is not a fan, he hates having to do chores around the house.”
Why do men think women LOVE cleaning? We do it anyway because we’re adults and not disgusting animals.
“I admit that I would love to not have to work, but the tradeoff being offered is not appealing to me.”
You are smart. You would lose the freedom that comes from having your own income, connections at work, and the ability to continue to grow your career, which will likely become stalled if you quit.

BUS DRIVER SHARES HOW CREEPY IT IS DRIVING ALONG LIM CHU KANG AT NIGHT

A bus driver shared a video onto his TikTok, @yourbuscaptain, showing how creepy it is driving along Lim Chu Kang at night.

In the video, he could be seen driving the bus service 975 towards Lim Chu Kang, the bus service goes all the way to Lim Chu Kang Camp 2, and then the Chinese cemetery.

The bus travels through a stretch of road that is dark and doesn’t have any functioning street lamps, and the driver has to shine his high beam to make sure there is no one along the road, and for better visibility as well.

The road is practically secluded with not a living soul around.

He captioned his video “975 has always given me goosebumps”, as a voice narrated through his video, “journey with me on 975 at night”.

The narration continues “some places are not well lighted (SIC)”, “at least proper light for now, the thrill starts here.

“As you can see the road in front no light, send help please. This is how scary it can be driving alone.”

“Okay driver faster a bit to end point cos I scared already”

One of the netizens commented that he heard form someone that the bus needs to stop and open the door at a certain bus stop to let the spirits alight from the bus, to which the driver replies:

“Yes correct. Open door for a few seconds then just say thank you. Close door move off”.
