I hate how men value my body count

To start this out I’m 23 and have slept with 36 men which I know is more than average but it’s my life I wanted to have all the fun I can.

In the last year I’ve calmed down and want to settle down and find a man to settle down with and start a family but that’s impossible.

When I match with a guy or just meet one in real life the question they all ask is “what’s your body count?”

when I tell them I get a disgusted look usually and get ghosted .

one time I was told I’ve been ran through by a guy who I thought was so sweet. It just sucks

I’m more than the men I’ve slept with I have cool hobbies and interests and I’ve got a nice job after graduating high school.

I guess I’ll be cheap in every man’s eyes.

My boyfriend has slept with more women than I’d care to admit, but it was all when he was younger and I don’t care one bit. But for some reason I’d be extremely turned off by someone who slept around in their 30s.

“I’m in this XYZ company and there is a lot of extra crap they have us do for the most simple things. One of those things is tagging something out.

In a nutshell tagging out is if you have to change a light bulb you turn the breaker off that gives power to the light and attach a danger tag to it.

However, before you can touch that switch you have to prove that the breaker you are tagging is the correct one to ensure you are not tagging the wrong thing which eventually will lead to further consequences.

Anyways I was beating off to photos of my gf the night before and they were still opened up on the photo app.

Fast forward to the day I was doing work on a filter and needed to tag out the fan right by it, the plaque didn’t match up to what the paper said.

If you see the plaque it makes sense, but on paper it doesn’t. I’m sure you can see where this is going, but I take a photo of the plaques because they weren’t letting me tag it out without proof.

I go to my supervisor and she is right behind me as i open the photos app to find my gf lying on bed and looking seductively without anything on.

I quickly closed the app and said awkwardly “*sups name* meet my gf *gfs name*” she replied with “I wish you just said that was a random girl”.

I contemplated telling my gf this hilariously awkward story, but she is shy and very well might die of embarrassment. I am just glad it was at least a woman who saw it if it had to be anyone, but man was I avoiding her gaze the rest of the week.”

A guy recently shared with us a story of how his facial complexion got so bad after enlistment due to the constant camouflage that he has to put on his face while in training and as the company that he is in has crazy camouflage requirements.

Here is the story

“I enlisted almost ten years ago, did okay in BMT and then went on to Specialist Cadet School or like the old birds will say, SISPEC.

I was posted to Infantry (Advanced Term) after the basic Infantry course where all cadets have to go through prior to being posted out to their different vocations.

The company I was in was considered quite notorious in my time, with stringent rules and instructors of crazy personalities.

I was okay with all the rules but one thing which I could not take, was the constant amount of camouflage cream where we have to put on our faces.

Before you comment saying that camouflage is part and parcel of Army life, please hear me out.

A bit of background of my skin, my skin condition has been good all the while since young, I did not even have to use facial wash to wash my face and I still have perfect and clear skin, much to the jealousy of my friends.

I was not proud of any of my features, except my flawless skin.

When BMT began and as time progressed, I started to use facial wash to aid the removing of my camouflage cream whenever we were given time to shower.

Even during outfield, we were allowed to clean our faces with wet wipes every night and just have to apply back the camouflage cream by morning.

Even though that seemed a little dirty, it still helped to keep my face clean and flawless.

However, things changed when I went into the Advanced Infantry term.

We were not allowed to remove our camouflage even at night during outfield and in fact if it is fading away even before sleeping, we will have to apply it nicely again before we were allowed to sleep.

Sometimes, our outfield goes for as long as a week and throughout the week, with the constant application of camouflage cream to the face as well as perspiration, you can imagine how clogged up the face will become.

This made my complexion real bad, from flawless to full of acne and scars.

Even after I finished my service, the condition still did not improve and now it has been almost 10 years.

I’m saying this not to blame anyone or anything, but maybe just myself for not trying to find a way out to keep my face clean during that period of time.”

A lady was seen online asking guys on at which point of their life did they finally admit that they were no longer young anymore and realised that they are catching up on age.

This comes after the lady says that the guys in her social circle never once admitted that they were old even when all of them have already crossed their 30s.

Here is what some of the guys have in response to the lady

  • When it takes me 20 minutes to get out of bed in the morning
  • When I realised that this girl flirting with me at the petrol station was younger than my own son!
  • When I was at a party at the age of 27 and a girl that was 21 was flirting with me and said “I like older guys” as if it was a way to hit on me 🤣 After that I didnt think I was old…. but I wasn’t young anymore to the actual ‘young’ crowd.
  • I still have to remind myself I’m not young. I picture myself about 25 in my head. Especially when a cute young girl walks by. Then I remember I could be her father and my old age come roaring back in my head. 😂
  • As a Father the “pretty lady walk by” has definitely taken a huge change. Part of my brain stem can’t ignore it the other part says “that’s someone’s daughter you nasty old man!”
  • When I went to 7-11 to get a packet of cigarettes and then the cashier asks me for my IC and I’m like dude I’m 40 and then I realised that oh crap I am old.
  • When I walked into a bar, saw a beautiful woman, and looked at her left hand to see if there was a ring on it before approaching her.
  • When I reached an age where I remember when my mum was that age. Next year I reach the age of my youngest recollection of my fathers age. I am not ready lol

A guy was seen online asking for advice on how to not get a girl pregnant.

A brief summary of his scenario is that he is going to ‘do it’ for the first time with his girlfriend after talking about the topic with her for quite a while but they are afraid of getting pregnant.

Here is the question posed by the guy

“Hi everyone!

I’m posting because I’m about to have my first time with my girlfriend and we are going to live together. We have been talking about ‘doing it’ and she is extremely afraid of getting pregnant (we are relatively young and she absolutely does not want children), to the point of telling me that it pushes her away from having relations with me and that she is panicking and crying (she tells me that it is a rational fear but also irrational).

We have talked about the contraceptive methods that exist and she would like to have 2 to 3 contraceptives so that she is less afraid (she is still afraid of getting pregnant with this).

I’m coming to you to find out what would be the best method to be sure that she never gets pregnant by being the strictest in the use of non-hormonal contraceptives (it can be a particular combination of contraceptives etc.), knowing that we can’t abort because we refuse this practice.

The only methods that I know are wearing a ‘helmet’ and maybe the girl taking the ‘morning after’ pill as well as the not so safe method of ‘pulling out’.

Any other suggestions?

Several photos of famous eateries in Johor Bahru has been seen on social media and business are even extending their opening hours to accommodate the large crowds

Hiap Joo Bakery

The shop which specialized in fresh bread and snacks has seen its business double in size since the reopening.

Zao Bao reported that many Singaporean tourists went to visit the shop and the flow of customers doubled forming a queue outside the shop.

The shop is located at 13, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

Banafee Village restaurant

Famous for its red bone soup and penyet chicken rice, the restaurant with its relaxed concept is always lively at night.

The restaurant extended it’s opening hours and crowds were still seen at the restaurant even at 4AM

The restaurant manager said that business normally subside by 2AM but since the reopening of borders, it has been busy all the way and 60% of the customers are Singaporeans.

The people who are fighting seem to be Food Panda riders, the fight continued until a few of them falls on the road.

An eBay listing is putting up multiple life-sized wax figures of Lee Kuan Yew for sale at USD$15,900. This equates to about $21,571 Singapore Dollars.

A Twitter user found this listing and shared the post stating that there are 10 such life-size wax statues for sale. (While stocks last?)

The photos of wax statues are of him in a suit and sitting on a chair with his hands crossed.

Twitter users responded to his post with some funny comments, stating:

  • This is so frustrating. I need 11 wax statues of Lee Kuan Yew.

40 Y.O MAN STILL TAKES $8,000 ALLOWANCE FROM PARENTS

Just what it says. I’ve been interested in someone. He’s 40 yo. Lives at home. I have recently found out that he takes money from his parents. Not monthly allowance but every 3-4 months one of his parents’ FD accounts matures and they ‘give’ him the interest. It’s over $8k each time.

He works part-time like 30 hours a week (more like 15 cos he only works when there is assignments, most of the time he is on standby)cos he wants more time to pursue his hobbies. He takes home around $2k per month. His company has asked him many times to take more hours but he doesn’t want to.

He doesn’t give his parents any money though he lives in their flat and his mum buys everything for him including vitamins, daily food and snacks, all his meals, soap, shampoo, etc. He doesn’t do any chores.

His parents even gave him the master bedroom cos he is now ‘grown up’. They are middle class, his mum still works but wakes up early every morning to make or heat up a huge breakfast for him and usually buys his dinner. He will skip lunch so he has more disposable income for hobbies.

Personality-wise he’s fun, easy to take to and we have a similar sense of humour and hobbies. I enjoy his company alot.

But long term, do you think someone like this would make a good partner? I’m concerned that a 40yo guy who has never been responsible for himself and spends all his earnings on expensive hobbies, well he hasn’t ‘proven’ himself to be responsible yet.

Some examples of his behaviour with me are forgetting to pay me back when I pay for meals, offering to buy me dinner at coffee shops but when we share a normal meal that is 50-50 he will want to go to cafes and restaurants, he won’t attend movies or plays or music shows with me if it’s something he doesn’t like, unless I buy his ticket cos he doesn’t want to pay for stuff that he’s just going to keep me company. He will usually announce something that he’s interested in and ask me if I have time to book cos he’s busy, yet I work longer hours than him. He doesn’t send me home unless it is convenient for him ie not a detour at all.

I feel that I’m being so money minded and calculative by thinking this way. But at the same time I feel that he wants to find someone who is like his mother, always supplementing his lifestyle with money and labour??

The owner of Oreo, a Singapore Special who was lost in Changi Airport while being transported to the plane, has given an update on the situation about Oreo.

In summary, Oreo has not yet been found ever since she escaped from her crate while being transported to a Singapore Airlines Flight, SQ38 bound for Los Angeles, and went missing a few days back on 1 April 2022.

Here is what the owner said in her update

Hi all, it’s been almost 48h since Oreo went missing, and it’s heartbreaking that she has not been found. I have just spent the afternoon within the airport compound searching for her w the team and Toffee (my other dog).

Am very grateful to have been granted access for the search, but we didn’t find her today. I can’t describe how much it hurts that she’s still out there alone, hungry and scared.

I have had the kindest folks from CAG and their contractor who are searching high and low for her within the compound, and folks who are looking around. But the space is huge, and we could really use all the help we can get.

If you work within/around the compound, or are around the area, please keep a lookout for Oreo and report immediately if they see her to me or CAG Wildlife team (if you’re an airport staff). There is a small chance she might have exited the compound by now.

If you have friends/family who live/work around the area, please share this with them, or tag them in this post. Oreo is a black Special Special with white paws and chest fur. She has a brown collar with a name tag + AirTag, is 17kg, turning 6 this year, skittish but friendly with humans and doesn’t bite.

Oreo has been my baby since she was just months old, and Toffee’s best friend. She’s the light of our lives, so please help us to get her back. Thank you.

P.S. Oreo escaped her crate while being transported to the plane when we were about to board SQ38 to LA on Friday 1 Apr at T3.“
