the incident happened along the AYE on 4 January at about 1.30am.

“Encountered this while driving at AYE(Tuas) after exit 8.

Van was abandoned with engine running but hazard like not turned on, car I was driving almost rear ended this vehicle.

Strange that the door and windshield was damaged and airbags deployed but no one was found to be around and no sign of collision with another vehicle.

What do you guys think?”

“Hi parents,

Have ever had thoughts where you wished you never had a child. Or wished that your kid goes away with someone else to take care of them? Like forever?

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and I get very irritated, angry and frustrated. My husband helps a lot in taking care of the household and kid while inside of me just wanna cry frequently.

Sometimes I can be positive and happy when my child is at home. But I drag the feeling of picking my son back home.

I’m always triggered by several things like nonstop playing during meal times, taking hours to eat then refusal to put books and toys back to the original spots.

And the most triggers I have are relatively new toys where some parts are deliberately misplaced and forgotten by my child when I already asked that it’s placed back to the original place.

I’ve bought many of the books and toys and it eeks me that within a matter of mins, some parts get thrown around and it’s a junkyard every night.

Husband helps to keep but I’ve told him not to do it alone. It has to be with the child together so he learns to do it habitually.

And then my son would refuse to bathe, brush teeth, go pee, get changed etc.

The mornings are my super angry moments daily when I try to prepare my son for school. He would play immediately once awake or watch TV with his grandma.

Then nagging to brush teeth is like me having to threaten to let his teeth rot or no breakfast if there’s not enough time.

I even meanly let him go to school without breakfast and he’s ok. ????????????????????????

I feel such a horrible parent and I’ve tried from gentle parenting to tiger parents and my son just doesn’t respond or do as told.

I wished I could just run away from there and back to the times where there’s only my husband and I. I’m so sick of tired of feeling this way. ????????????”

SNEAKY MAN CAUGHT ON CCTV STEALING $800 WORTH OF ALCOHOL FROM SUPERMARKET

A man was caught redhanded on the CCTV stealing about $800 worth of alcohol from ACE Signature supermarket at Serangoon on 27 December.

A clip from the CCTV footage from shared online and and the man, who was wearing a blue shirt and brown shorts, was seen walking around with a basket and carrying a bag.

The man carried the basket and got down on his knees, hiding behind some stacked boxes to avoid being seen, snuck some of the items from the basket into his bag.

He then got back up and walked off calmly.

According to the manager of the store, the thief had stolen about 3 bottles of alcohol including 2 bottles of cognac and a bottle of whiskey, which was worth about $800.

A police report has also been made about the theft.

“BMW driver followed me into the Rail Mall parking lot.

I saw a white Mazda leaving as people were getting on the car so I got as close as possible to the parked cars and gave it space to leave and turned on my hazard lights to show I am waiting to park.

The BMW drove into the opposing lane, blocked my reverse-path into the lot on my right, and reversed into the handicapped lot.

A netizen shared how a Toyota tried to tailgate out of the carpark but the driver foiled the tailgater’s plans by stopping outside the gantry.

“This tailgating incident happened at Jurong Point… We were exiting Jurong Point carpark then when we were nearing the exit after the turn from B2, we noticed a white Toyota with headlights switched on.

But didn’t really bother until it suddenly speed up when we were reaching the gantry… We knew immediately this joker was going to tailgate us out.

Thus we slowed down when we were exiting the gantry and immediately stopped upon exiting and put our car into reverse gear (our car will automatically switch on when put into reverse gear).

And that’s when he knew he messed up and laughed with the girl beside him (you can clearly see their face and expressions) and started to reverse back.

OVERTURNED VAN FOUND ON CTE, BUT DRIVER WAS MISSING WHEN POLICE ARRIVED

A van was found overturned on the CTE on New Year but when the police arrived, the driver of the upside-down vehicle was nowhere to be seen.

The Singapore Police said that they were alerted to a van that had been overturned after what was believed to have been an accident.

When the police arrived at the scene at around 4.35am, along CTE towards the AYE, the driver was no longer at the scene.

They conducted checks and found nothing suspicious inside the van.

A video then emerged online showing the police, the K-9 Unit, police vehicles, enforcement officers as well as a tow truck at the scene.

Traffic on the expressway also slowed down almost to a halt near the accident site.

At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing.

The incident happened on 31 Decemeber at around 6.20pm at JCube and was captured on camcar’s dashcam.

The Honda Vezel was seen following close behind the camcar and tailgating out of the carpark, and the camcar catch up with the tailgating car on the road.

The driver of the Honda Vezel then stopped his car in the middle of the road alighted from his car and went berserk at the camcar.

He then went up to the window of the camcar and started shouting at the occupants inside, showing off his colourful vocabulary of vulgarities.

A netizen shared a story about how his childhood friend has been appearing in his dreams after she passed away and asking him to join her.

Here is the story:

“So for context, I had this childhood friend of mine. We were together since we were 6 years old. She got diagnosed with leukemia when we were about 17. I was devasted beyond words. Everytime I visited her at the hospital she would just smile and joke around as if nothing was happening. And I admired her for that.

During my last visit, we started reminiscing about our childhood. At some point, I turn my head towards her and noticed her silently crying. I couldn’t help it, so I cried with her.

She grabbed my hands and told me something that will forever haunt me. “I will always be watching you”.

At first, I paid it no mind. But as I started thinking about it, I kept wondering what she meant by that. Of course, the idea of her passing never crossed my mind. A few days later, I got the text. She passed away. I wouldn’t accept it. I couldn’t accept it.

I don’t even know how I managed to go to school the next day. Even now, I can’t remember those days. It’s just a blur.

After her funeral, I felt somewhat at peace. I thought “she is in a better place now”. Her father approached me and told me that she loved me.

I hugged him and said my goodbyes but before I could leave, he said: “She is always going to watch you. She said she wants to be together forever with you.”

I left without uttering a single word. I felt sick.

4 years have passed since then. I miss her. But the thing is, she never left.

Every now and then, she appears in my dreams. For instance, in one of these dreams, I saw her smiling. We were talking casually about how life has been.

But then, she turns towards me and says: “You should come visit me sometime. I’m lonely since no one else is coming to see me.”.

I woke up in a cold sweat and goosebumps were running wild in my entire body.

Another dream that occurred was that we were at a beach. The sky was grey and the sea was upset and black. She was smiling again. For a moment she was there and the next time I opened my eyes she was gone.

I started shouting and crying. She reappeared in front of me and asked me why was I crying. I told her it was because she went away.

So she grabbed my arms and with that smile on her face said: “Then, come with me. We will be together again. I will never let you go. You belong with me.”. And she dragged me in the ocean with her.

Once again, I woke up completely drenched in sweat and having this weird feeling of not being able to breathe well.

The dreams continue to this day. Sometimes they are lighthearted, others sinister. I miss her, but I don’t think she ever left my side. She is here. I can feel it.”
