A restaurant was recently rated 1 star on Google reviews after she found out that a Thai restaurant located at 57 Killiney road does not allow unvaccinated people to enter their restaurant.
A disgruntled woman decided to go to the restaurant’s Google review and rate the restaurant as 1 star.
Here is what the restaurant said on Facebook:
The article on ST highlighted some of the challenges we faced and how most restaurants had to adapt to the restrictions. We hope our customers understand that we are not discriminating anyone on their vaccination status. Businesses risk being shut down if we do not follow the rules. One upset individual decided to leave a 1 star review on our Google page because she felt that we “support the government’s move to discriminate unvaccinated people”
A netizen shared about her experiences which allegedly happened at Commonwealth Secondary School.
Her form teacher allegedly told her parents that if the majority of the students are targeting her, then something must be wrong with her.
She was also allegedly pinned against the wall by a schoolmate, and the school’s discipline mistress allegedly called her out during assembly, and told her not to make their school life like some Tamil drama or Tamil movie.
A 16 Y.O boy who suffered a cardiac arrest after receiving his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has received $225,000 in financial assistance under the Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Programme (VIFAP).
An independent clinical panel which was set up to assess the boy’s VIFAP application found that while the boy’s condition has been improving well, he will still need some time to recover and continue his treatment and rehabilitation.
The boy is currently recovering steadily and undergoing inpatient rehabilitation with no issues of performing his daily living activities by himself.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) also said that the boy will most probably be discharged in the coming weeks but will likely require outpatient rehabilitation for a period of time before he can resume his daily activities and go back to school.
He will continued to be monitored by the medical team.
Quick recap on what happened
The boy suffered a cardiac arrest six days after receiving his first dose of the vaccine, on 3 July 2021.
He had developed acute severe myocarditis which is a condition that causes inflammation of the heart muscles which led to his cardiac arrest.
MOH had said that this might possibly be caused by the vaccine and it is a serious adverse event.
It might have became most aggravated because of the youth’s activities like strenuous lifting of weights and his high consumption of energy drinks and supplements which contains caffeine.

MOH advised people to not take up any strenuous physical activities for one week after receiving the vaccine irregardless of first or second dose.
If symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath and abnormal heartbeats appears, to call for medical attention immediately.
It also says that those who develop myocarditis from the first dosage of the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines should not receive any more doses of it.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said in a press released on 15 August that the affected bus captains and staff at the Bishan and Sengkang bus interchanges clusters, all had mild symptoms of were asymptomatic.
The Bishan interchange cluster saw a total of 9 cases, including 9 bus captains; while Sengkang’s cluster saw 13 cases, with 5 bus captains and 2 staff members (at the time of writing).
