PRC STUDENT PRETENDS TO BE RICH & LIVE FOR FREE IN BEIJING

0

In China, the rich are often treated differently. If you are rich or pretend to be rich the public often kowtows to all your desires.

A 23-year-old girl armed herself with a fake Hermès bag and dresses in some expensive clothes along with fake jewelry to convince others that she is high-ses to give her stuff for free.

She said that this social experiment as part of her graduating project known as “Eat and drink for free in Beijing for 21 days”.

She work at a comic event for 3 days and secured a free two-way air ticket to Beijing, during this period she spends her night sleeping on couches.

She sleeps in IKEA and even goes to public maternal rooms to shower.

She went to auction events hosted at hotels to get freebies, although she did not buy anything she managed to enjoy the free buffet from the auction.

In her 21 day stay in Beijing, she spends $0. Nothing at all.

GUY FOUND TEACHER ON WEBSITE ALLEGEDLY LOOKING FOR “SUGAR DADDY”

0

A netizen shared how he was on the website Sugarbook (a website that pairs women with potential “sugar daddies”) when he discovered a teacher advertising herself.

He then did some research and cross referenced her profile on Sugarbook with her profile on her social media to confirm her identity – the woman had purportedly used her real name on Sugarbook.

The man subsequently made a complaint to MOE, reasoning that he felt the teacher should be “held to a higher standard”.

According to GoodyFeed, MOE is aware of the complaint and is investigating the issue – they also added that they will not hesitate to take disciplinary actions.

The woman in question has also reportedly resigned from her post as a teacher.

Sugarbook

Sugarbook is a website that advertises “relationships” between men and women, with the women labelled as Sugar Babies while the men are called Sugar Daddies.

They promote their website as “where romance meets finance” and the rates for a hug can reach up to $500 while intercourse can reach over $2,000; depending on what the men offers the women.

However, these services may be illegal in Singapore, under the Women’s Charter.

CONTENT OF PACKAGES ALLEGEDLY STOLEN FROM MAIL

A netizen posted on Facebook after the contents of her mail were stolen, and it is not a one off incident.

She previously reported the incident to Singpost but she claims that she did not get a satisfactory response from Singpost.

Here is what she said:

Hello,

I’d like to share about Singpost and their thieves stealing content from packages time and again.

Previously I sent a colorful envelope to a friend and it was fully opened by some staff from Singpost in an attempt to steal from it. Today I was informed by a recipient that she received an open envelope (plain) with the content missing. These are unrelated incidents and I even taped the envelope to prevent thieves from stealing but the thief cut it open instead.

In the previous incident, I reported it to Singpost and they sent me a template reply every 3 days stating that they will investigate and after 2 weeks of spamming me with the exact same email they simply said it was inconclusive. But they clearly never investigated anything at all and did not compensate or take any responsibility in any way.

Fed up with the thieves that go around opening packages to steal like they’re not getting wages and a company that protects thieves and enables this disgusting behavior.

By the way, it is punishable by law to open mail that is meant for delivery but Singpost has been enabling their thieves to continue stealing by refusing to investigate

UNI STUDENT STRUGGLING TO MAKE FRIENDS IN SCHOOL, BUT NO ONE INTERESTED

0

A university student shared how he/she is stuck at home doing nothing after the end of university exams, while everyone else is out having fun and living their best lives.

The student added that despite trying very hard to meet new people, nobody seems to be interested in making friends.

Here is the story:

“It’s the end of exams of University. Everyone looks like they are having fun and going out, meeting friends, building relationships, and living their best life. While I’m stuck at home doing nothing.

I’d like to ask yall, where can I go to find friends, and meet new people, particularly of university age group?

I don’t really know how I can do this, given this situation and everything going on. I don’t really have anyone I’d consider as a close group of friends to talk about anything with and go out with to do random things, like hiking, eating at restaurants, etc.

I have tried reaching out to people in my social circle to go and do something, but I can’t sense much interest from them, and it gets exhausting to keep doing this.”

Editor’s note: You could try doing the things that you love by yourself, and you will eventually meet someone who shares the same interests as you.

GF THINKS EATING WITH A FEMALE FRIEND MEANS CHEATING

Am I an overly sensitive girlfriend?

My bf went out with a close female friend last week. They are close friends who meet up once every 6 months to catch up. While i would actually be ok with him meeting with a friend of the opposite gender 1-to-1, he shared some details with me which made me feel uncomfortable.

Prior to meeting my bf, he had a crush on this girl for 2-3 years during sec/jc days and went on a few dates with her during the beginning of their uni days although there weren’t any romantic sparks between them eventually.

The girl also knew about his repeated interest in her but they continued remaining as good friends.

As for their catch-ups, although he tends to reassure me that it will be a fast meal and catchup session, it often took ~5hrs and he will drive her home after the date as it is on the way.

I don’t want to be overly sensitive about this but he rarely drives his friends home and usually, it is only to the nearest mrt station but for this female friend, he would go all the way out to drive her home. Once when he asked me, I mentioned that i would prefer if he did not send her home, but he got defensive and say its his duty to ensure she got home safely at night and since its on the way, he dont see a reason not to.

Furthermore, he never invites me over to have a meal with her before as he mentioned that they only meet up once every 6 months and he would like to spend the time alone catching up with her instead.

Recently he is very busy with his school projects and we have been meeting up lesser. However, he still took the effort to reach out to his female friend and ask for a meetup while cutting short our dating hours and days. During the entire 5+ hours dinner with her, he left my messages on hold and replied only after he returned home.

My gut feeling tells me that he is still interested in the girl but im afraid im just being overly sensitive. Appreciate some opinions…

DRIVER CUTS ACROSS 3 LANES ON EXPRESSWAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF LTA OFFICER

A video emerged online showing a reckless driver cutting across 3 lanes on the expressway, right in front of an LTA officer.

The sheer audacity of the driver to cut recklessly across the lanes caught the LTA officer by surprise, who stared at the car in disbelief.

The driver of the infringing car in question then exited the expressway just in time before the officer could react.

The LTA officer had missed the exit so he couldn’t give chase to stop the car, as he took out his walkie talkie to report what he had seen.

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS COUPLE ENDS UP CHEATING

What Are Faithful Long Distance Relationships?

Have you ever found yourself halfway around the world, far away from the one you love? It can make you feel very lonely at times. At least if you had an obstacle like a mountain or an ocean to separate you, you’d know how hard it is to get together.

But when you live down the street from each other, see each other at work every day, and you still can’t be together, it can be even more difficult. In a long-distance relationship, you need faith.

A netizen shared a story of how COVID-19 resulted in a long-distance relationship.

Here is the story:

12 years relationship, married for 4 years, LDR since COVID happened. Things were pretty tough for both of us who are in different countries, but we tried our best to keep our relationship going and make our communication works.

But what went down as I found out my partner registered a dating app account, chatted and met with the opposite sex, went out a few times and we “did it” a few times.

Partner claimed that it was just the LDR that made lust got stronger but things happened a week before we finally met…. Partner has been a great person, friends around us see us as the modeled couple. Kinda lost with the situation, not knowing what to do.

Can this act be forgiven?

Or it will ruin the relationship if we continue? Crying for help……

Is it possible for long-distance relationships?

Finding the right partner is arguably the most important decision a person makes in their lives. Once you have found your partner, keeping them is the next step. When you are in a long-distance relationship, it is that much harder to maintain a happy relationship.

Most of the time its a pipe dream.
