She was apparently trying to be patriotic during National Day.
But she was waving the wrong flag, she forgot about the crescent and the 5 stars and was waving the Indonesian flag instead.

A video of a temperature scanner scanning by itself twice after a momentarily pause has emerged on Tiktok.
This type of forehead temperature scanner usually only scans if someone places their forehead there.
However in the video, there is no one at the temperature scanner when it suddenly decided to scan by itself not just once but twice.
Netizens commented that because it is the Chinese 7th Month, maybe one or two of our good “brothers” are back for visitation.

An incident occured at Penjuru Dormitory at Jurong involving a foreign worker.
He was apparently drunk and arrested by the police.
He was seen handcuffed and sitting on the kerb as he was surrounded by police officers.

He had goosebumps all of a sudden and took a quick snapshot on his camera.
He then cycled away from the place quickly because of what he saw in the photo.

He had apparently dropped his IC onto the huge transparent roof like structure and climbed down to retrieve it.

A man had claimed that a camcar driver hit his car, as well as wanting to hit his wife.
The man then rushed out to hit the camcar while scolding the driver and wanting to hit him.
The camcar driver then called the police and the man drove away.
The incident happened on 4 Aug at around 9.45am, at Whampoa Drive.

A woman has taken to Facebook to complain about the town council cleaners at her residential area Block 815 Jurong West Street 81.
She laments that the workers make a lot of unnecessary noise while working, disturbing her peace every weekday, weekend, public holiday.
However, because the workers are working on dismantling things that are bulky like sofas and cupboards, there is bound to be some noise involved.
She says that she had feedback to her Town Council and MP on many occasions to no avail.
Netizens have sided the foreign workers and commented that the lady is very self-entitled, and have scolded her for being ungrateful.

This is to relate to a bad experience with a Grab driver.
Was returning home with the family from Suntec. While coming to pick us up the driver made a wrong turn & went round the block once. We didn’t mind as it was just a few mins extra waiting time. I noticed that the driver had his mobile on his lap. This meant that he had to take his eyes off the road to loop at his phone.
Didn’t think much of it then. As we approached Hougang, the driver seemed to lose control while negotiating a curve at 80-90 Kms/per hr. He jerked the steering wheel & straightened quickly. It gave us all a real scare. Again didn’t say anything to avoid distracting the driver. 100 m further on, he missed the left turn & went straight at the signal.
Now, I had to tell him that he missed the turn. He flew into a rage, asking me not to shout at him or distract him & he was following the map & so on. I told him in no uncertain terms that he was driving badly. And asked him to correct the route. He made a U-turn at the next signal & got back in the right direction. Now, I told him to drop us off at the bus top ( opposite our condo).
He didn’t respond, so I repeated my instructions to him again. He just ignored & continued to drive, missing the bust stop! I had to tell him… ” I told you to stop here. You missed it”. He says ‘ Oh, I’ll take a turn”. Takes another U-turn & comes on the other side of the road, on the same side as the condo. Now I tell him, “Ok drop us here on the left, we’ll go from there”.
Twice.. Again he ignores & keeps driving. I had to raise my voice & tell him
” I’m asking you to stop, why are you driving on?”
Once more he goes ballistic :” Don’t shout at me. You need to show respect & so on…”
Have used hundreds of Grab trips & never had an issue. The drivers are always polite. They always pay attention to instructions. This one was different. Left a bad taste.
