“The mechanic of JC Autoworks is on his last day of work, as so he asked the mechanic of Car Doctor (Right beside JC Autoworks) To come over to JC Autoworks to take back all the tools that they had borrowed from Car Doctor.
While the malaysian mechanic of car doctor was picking up the tools, the boss of JC Autoworks (Shawn Tan) shouted at the mechanic in a very rude manner ‘好了没有?’ The malaysian mechanic then asked Shawn to kindly lower down his volume and talk nicely.
Shawn than decided to head over to the mechanic and asked him in his face, ‘Then? Beat me la, here (points to his face) you malaysian work permit only lei! You dare beat singaporean meh? Come la try me’
He then proceeded to slap the malaysian mechanic in the face causing him to step back and almost fall.
Both of them than got into a fight and ambulances and police were called down. Shawn then told the police his CCTV was spoilt and cannot retrieve the footage (coincidence much??)”
An image appeared on Telegram recently showing a Ryde driver’s alleged statement of earnings.
A closer look at the statement shows that the driver in question has earned a massive total revenue of S$9017.22 in the month of September 2021.
Netizens have commented that this earning is probably photoshopped and one even did the math and said that this is done on purpose to entice innocent drivers to come on board.
Another netizen has also called for the driver to come out and share his knowledge on how to make such an amount in a month.
A girl shared how she was eating with her boyfriend when he suddenly told her that the fried rice they were eating tasted like his bestfriend’s nipples.
The confused girl is now wondering if her boyfriend is gay.

The PSLE maths question has been a hot topic among parents after many people said that the questions were too difficult for primary school students.
However, some parents pointed out that it is not as hard as imagined. Some parents felt that it is a secondary school question as it might require inverse proportional algebra to solve.
Here is the question:
Helen and Ivan had the same number of coins. Helen had a number of 50-cent coins and 64 20-cent coins. These coins had a mass of 1.134kg. Ivan had a number of 50-cent coins and 104 20-cent coins.
(a) Who has more money in coins and by how much? (2)
(b) given that each 50-cent coin is 2.7g heavier than a 20-cent coin, what is the mass of Ivan’s coins in kilograms? (2)
But there is more than 1 way to solve the problem, a man on Facebook posted his logical method of solving the question instead of using algebra.
An update on my post last Sunday on Springleaf Prata:
Never in my wildest dream that I would have to be escorted out of the restaurant by the police!
So, I was naive enough to believe that Springleaf Prata Place is sincere to offer that meal as an apology
Especially before the meal, I was told that I have to delete all my post on my last experience – T&C DEMANDED even BEFORE they have rectified anything.
I did oblige to their request as I thought that 好来好去。
In fact, when I went for lunch today, I was all smiling and trying to make friendly talk with the manager, Shalom.
He wasn’t keen in small talk.
No smile.
Business like.
Ask me to sit and he’ll get the food.
OK, fine.
So we sat down. 1st came one lime juice and then 1 Alfredo.
So I asked if that’s it. He asked me if I wanted to ordered anything else.
I was puzzled and said: u invited me back for a meal right?
And then he started to raise his voice. Saying that they only owed me a lime juice. He even threw in an Alfredo for free, what else do I want!
Gee!! Made me feels like a BEGGER!!
I had to show him what was written which he shouted that he was not aware. I hate to remind him that on the phone, he said he will treat me and my partner to a meal, anything we want!!
And yet we made no demand.
Anyway, when we were eating, he was staring at us, aiming his camera at us throughout the meal.
We got very uncomfortable and walked to him, asking if he is taking video or photo of us.
He suddenly turned to talk to his staff and claimed that he was too busy to talk to us (when for the last few minutes, he was staring at us and taking the phone high up to aim at us openly).
I requested to him nicely to show me his gallery which he turned away and ignore me
I texted Springleaf Prata Place to resolve the situation – my message was read but ignored.
Left with no choice, I called the police as the tension and atmosphere was getting very hostile.
Fearing of repercussions, the police escort us out of the restaurant as we were fearful of remaining in there after the police has left.
Lesson learnt: not all apologies are sincere.
Never will ever see us back at Springleaf Prata Place ever again!
A video was posted by Facebook user Kelly Kimberly, she wore her brother’s SAF uniform and recorded a clip for the audition of Ah Girls Go Army (A new upcoming movie directed by Jack Neo)
She stated her physical stats that she is 180cm tall and well verse in martial arts.
She was seen doing a high knee kick to the face of a practice dummy. She jumped so tall netizens worried if she would hit the ceiling of her home.
The video has since gathered over 600 shares and 100 over comments on Facebook.
The Police said that a 21-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a series of loanshark harassment by fire cases.
Between 27 and 28 of September, the police were separately alerted of 3 cases of residential units getting set on fire by loansharks at Jurong West Avenue 1, Boon Lay Avenue and Joo Seng Road.
CCTV
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Jurong Police Division, and Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man who was allegedly involved in all three cases through investigations and the use of CCTV/Police cameras.
The man was subsequently arrested on 29 September 2021, drugs were also seized.
Charged
The man will be charged in court under the Moneylenders Act 2010 (Revised Edition).
For first time offenders, the offence of loanshark harassment carries a fine of between $5,000 to $50,000, with mandatory imprisonment of up to five years, and mandatory caning of up to six strokes.
Investigations into the drug-related offences by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) are ongoing.
