GIRL ACCIDENTALLY DIALS BOYFRIEND’S DAD WHILE THEY WERE ‘DOING IT’

0

A girl shared a story of how she was snuggling up to her boyfriend and getting it on as usual one night but had accidentally dial her boyfriend’s father while in the process of ‘doing it’.

Her phone was in her jeans when it happened and she said that she might have accidentally called him because she was on his contact page.

She had wanted to call him after her boyfriend and herself were done with their ‘activities’ to ask him about some stuff related to purchasing a new car.

Here is the story

“So, tonight started out like any other. Snuggling up with my boyfriend and watching netflix together, drinking some wine, overall just having a good time. Before too long, one thing leads to another and, well, you get the picture.

About three minutes into the encounter, we realise that we have accidentally called my boyfriends dad. Both of us freaked out, and I quickly searched up how to delete a voicemail while it was being recorded. I tried to do what the internet told me to do (as one does), but it wasn’t working. So, we just hung up and finished what we started.

Afterwards, my boyfriend sent a text to his dad saying “hey dad, please don’t listen to that voicemail, I was watching some adult films and don’t want you to hear that.”

I thought that was a pretty good excuse to make him not listen to it, so I felt better. His dad is the type of guy to be pretty chill about stuff like that, so I felt like it would be okay. So, we proceeded with the evening and laughed about our mistake.

However, to my horror, we discovered about 15 minutes ago that we did NOT leave a voicemail, but that his dad had actually picked up the phone.

Which means he either picked up in his sleep (which is what I’m hoping for), or he answered the phone and sat there in silence listening to his son and future Daughter in law do the nasty.

I am so horribly embarrassed and I don’t think I will ever mentally recover from this.”

FATHER CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER SONS FOUND DEAD IN UPPER BUKIT TIMAH

0

Xavier Yap Jung Houn, 48-years-old, was charged in court earlier today (24 January) with murder following the death of his two 11-year-old twin sons.

The two boys’ bodies were found in a canal near the playground along Greenridge Crescent, at Upper Bukit Timah.

Yap appeared in court earlier today via a video link and his charges were then read out to him.

His lawyer, Mr Anil Singh Sandhu, said that the grieving family was still in mourning of the loss of the two young boys.

The police said on Saturday that they had received a call for help at about 6.25pm on Friday from a man along Greenridge Crescent.

Police officers arrived and the man’s two 11-year-old sons were found lying motionless and subsequently pronounced dead by a paramedic.

According to The Straits Times, the two 11-year-old boys were identified as Ethan and Ashton Yap.

The death of the two boys sparked the deployment of the police’s Gurkha and K-9 units, as they conducted a search in the forests near Toh Tuk Road, in Upper Bukit Timah.

The police then followed up on all the possible leads and investigations were conducted around the clock, Yap was then subsequently arrested by the police.

The offence of murder carries the death penalty.

Yap’s case has since been adjourned to 31 January.

GUY MENTIONED EX-WIFE’S NAME INSTEAD OF CURRENT WIFE WHILE GIVING SPEECH

0

A guy shared a story of how he screwed up a few years back while giving a speech in front of his friends, his wife’s friends and their families which resulted in awkwardness and the wife disturbing him about it from time to time.

He said that thankfully his wife was not mad at him over the incident but he still feels very embarrassed as a lot of people related to the both of them were present.

He wanted to thank his wife while addressing the crowd at a party, but ended up mentioning his ex wife’s name when giving his speech.

Here is the story

“I was married to my first wife for less than 4 years. I married my current wife 3 years later and have been happily married for 6 years. We have 2 lovely daughters and i have never been this happy.

On one of our daughter’s birthday, we held mini celebration and invited all our family, relatives and friends over along with out daughter’s play school mates and their families.

I was asked by my wife to say a few words just before the cake cutting ceremony as we have never really had celebrations or gatherings like this before and she thought that it would be nice to speak to everyone and get to let them know our little family better.

So i am at the end of my little talk and i am saying how happy and proud i was for having someone so special in my life and this is where i screwed up. Instead of saying my wife’s name, i said my ex wife’s name.

In that moment, time slowed down. I could hear my heart stop as I look at my wife who was standing to the left of me with the “oh crap” face.

I knew I was going to pay for that and I knew we were going to get in a fight when we got home.

Thankfully when we had a chance to talk she wasn’t mad, she understands that I go get a lot of jitters when I do public speaking.

However she and her family do disturb me here and there about my mistake from time to time and asked me if I still think of my ex wife.”

Editor’s notes: Lucky you did not call the wrong name when you guys are intimate.

MAN SAYS HE WOULD GIVE UP HIS MONEY JUST TO SEE LATE WIFE AGAIN

0

A netizen shared how his father once told him that he would give up all of his money just to be able to see his late wife once again for a few minutes.

Here is the story:

My mother passed away when I was one year old and it hit my dad hard. I feel like he hasn’t been happy since my mom’s death.

He is a great father, we are extremely close, he never dated with anyone else and it breaks my heart when he gets drunk and cries looking at my mother’s photos.

My dad is a successful lawyer and I am aware that we are considered rich. However, when I look at my dad I see that money is not the solution to everything.

Once, when he was drunk, he told me that he would give all of his money just to see my mom for a couple of minutes.

Once I saw an old photo of my mom and dad holding me in bed, both looked so sleepless and tired but my dad never looked so peaceful.

Sometimes I feel like my life is a badly written teenage movie.

Netizens comments

  • I’ve nothing to say that will help but he seems like a lovely man, look after him.
  • He sounds like an honorable man and a loving person. I hope he finds peace someday.
  • Honestly I don’t think I would date again if my husband died. I totally get it. Take care of him.
  • I pray that i find a man who loves me half that much. How heartbreaking. I truly hope he finds some peace.
PS. I hope you recognize how beautiful it is that you are the product of a love that strong.

MAN THINKS EX-WIFE IS BLACKMAILING DAUGHTER SO SHE STAYS WITH HER

0

Im a woman in my 40s and I have 2 children with my ex “Mike”, including “jane” (f17). She is at the age to go to poly and she is in the midst of deciding where she wants to apply for.

We have been lucky enough to save a small education fund, totalling $50,000 for jane. When looking at schools she was interested in, I sat her down and talked her through the process + her fund. (Mike lives in at Pasir Ris but knew we were having this talk.

I told her how much she had and discussed different options. I told her how public schools are typically cheaper and more recognized compared to private schools, and how she might have to take out a loan if she chose a more ‘prestige school’ or didn’t quality for scholarships.

I told her that if she didn’t spend all the money on schooling, it would still be hers after graduation. I also brought up how staying close to home(We stay in woodlands) would save on living expenses if she didn’t want to travel so far. I wanted her to make an informed decision with all the facts, especially financially. Because of this, Jane has looked at applying for Republic Poly which is nearby.

Mike called me furious, saying that jane was considering a school close to where I live and that it was only because I had scared her into it by telling her she couldn’t afford other private schools and travel arrangements.

I told him I’d had an age-appropriate conversation about education, finances, and student debt with jane and she was making decisions that are in her best interest, not mine or his. Before this, jane had considered moving in with her dad as he lived within a short driving distance to Temasek poly which she wanted to go too.

Now she is apparently looking at other schools and isn’t as on board with that discussion anymore. Mike said that I had financially blackmailed her so that she wouldn’t go live with him, and that I’d only told her all these things to scare her financially.

WOMAN COMPLAINS ABOUT HAVING SMALL CHEST, BUT HUSBAND LOVES IT

0

A netizen shared about how his wife has been complaining about how small her chest it but he loves her just the way she is.

Here is the story:

My wife and I have been married for 27 years. She’s always had a small chest. They were perkier when we were first married at 20 yo. They were bigger when we had our children and now in our late 40’s they are a bit saggy.

My wife has complained for years about how small they are. We’ve talked about augmentation and had put it off due to how the procedure was done (we know there are new ways) and the possibility of her losing some feeling.

I am going on a business trip and she is going with me to lay on the beach and by the pool for the 4 days.

One of the nights we may be going to a cocktail party so she has been trying on some of her dresses. She had on her cute little black one and again complained about her small chest because she doesn’t “fill out” the upper half of her cocktail dress.

I turned to her and said, “You know what babe? I wish you had a bigger chest too.” She replied, “I knew it!”

Then I told her “but it isn’t for the reason you think” I wish she had a bigger chest so she didn’t feel so self-conscious about how she looks in that dress, or her swimsuits or her blouses. That is the only reason.

I love her just the way she is!

Ladies, when you have a man that loves you more than anyone or anything on the planet please know that he loves you for who you are!

Everything my wife has been through has sculpted her body to the perfection I see in front of me every day. She birthed my children so that bit of belly she never got rid of is a testament to the sacrifice she made being pregnant.

So are those saggy puppies that fed our babies and those are the memories I will cherish.

Every scar, wrinkle, ache, and pain comes from a life well lived and shared with me.

This is love and I hope everyone reading this experiences this in their life.

Editor’s note: Very touching, I’m happy for you two.

WOMAN TRIES TO SHAME SINGLE FATHER STRUGGLING WITH CHILD

0

My son’s (6 months) been cranky all morning because he’s teething. I had to go grocery shopping and since it was just me taking care of him he came with me. Normally he’s calm when I have him in his baby carrier because right now he just wants to be held by me but I forgot that at my mom’s yesterday so went in with his stroller to the market.

The plan was to be in and out in under 5 mins because he really wasn’t having it today. This lady kept popping up at every aisle I was in.

Well it’s a small market too so not like she was intentionally following us. He wouldn’t stop crying then she’d say “he’s hungry why didn’t you bring his bottle” and I would tell her no he’s not hungry he just ate 15 mins ago. Then it was “uh oh sure hope your daddy remembered to change your diaper this morning” (diaper wasn’t dirty).

At some point I picked him up for a little bit, he calmed down when I rocked him then lost it again when we got to the check out line because I needed to put him back in his stroller so I could put everything on the counter and pay. It was already a stressful day for me, I’m overwhelmed trying to hurry up putting everything in a bag while my son’s crying.

This lady is at the checkout line next to mine and she says “maybe next time he should stay at home with mommy don’t you think?” Normally I’m not a confrontational person but this one really got to me. “Well his mom passed away so why don’t you just mind your damm business already and go”

She looked at me a little shocked and then there were other people there too so she was red. The lady didn’t say anything to me at all but then at the parking lot she apologized about his mom but she didn’t think I needed to be rude and throw that at her face because she didn’t know what happened.

I really didn’t wanna get into it anymore I just told her to get the hell out of my way and leave me alone. Got in my car and left. Im home now calmer and wondering if she had a point. Because like I said normally I’m not like that with people but since it was already a hard day and stuff it infuriated me so bad. Was it an overreaction though?

I get sometimes people think they’re helping when in reality know nothing when it comes to calming a baby and usually brush that off

GRANDMA ALMOST FELL PREY TO DEMON PRETENDING TO BE LITTLE GIRL

0

A netizen shared a spine-tingling encounter that his grandparents had when they were younger, with a demon who was pretending to be a little girl in the woods.

Here is the story:

This story comes down from my grandparents who grew up in a small town in Malaysia. This is one among many encounters with the paranormal in their lives.

My grandparents come from a deeply religious family many decades ago and Angels and demons are a real part of everyone’s lives.

My grandmother was 9 months pregnant with my uncle when her water finally broke. It was the middle of the night.

Unfortunately for my grandparents, their house was on the other side of the town river. Where lighting was poor and the roads were dirt.

To get to the town center to catch a ride to the hospital, my grandparents needed to walk across a narrow, poorly lit bridge and up a large hill.

An uneasy trek even when you’re not getting ready to give birth.

As my grandparents reach the river, they can hear the flow of the water and the cool breeze. My grandfather tells my grandmother to stay strong and focused. This is no time to be caught off guard.

As they are about to walk across the bridge, my grandmother hears a cry. A little girl. Barefoot and sitting on a rock by the river.

“Help me” she says. She can’t be more than 5 years old.

The little girl is looking right at my grandmother. “Help me, I have a splinter in my foot.”

My grandmother immediately feels a sense of motherly duty come over her as the little girl tends to her foot. My grandmother becomes very concerned for this little girl sitting on a rock in the middle of the night.

She approaches the little girl who’s got tears streaming down her face. As she reaches closer, my grandfather leaps in between them. He takes out a talisman and holds it in front of the little girl.

To my grandmother’s amazement, the girl disappears immediately. My grandfather turns to her and says “you know better than this. You know the devil disguises itself as innocent and inviting as it can.”

My grandmother begins to sob and thank my grandfather as they continue their journey to the hospital.

Editor’s note: That was chilling…

MAN LETS WIFE SLEEP ON SOFA, WIFE WAKES UP FURIOUS

0

My wife has a habit of falling asleep on the couch. She is a very heavy sleeper. When we sit down to watch TV she always tells me to wake her up to go to bed so she can take her medicine.

Well, 90% of the time when I try to wake her up she just tells me “5 more minutes” several times for a couple of hours. Sometimes it even gets past midnight before I can get her up. I am exhausted from the day and want to sleep too. So the last time this happened I tried to get her up for about an hour 1/2. She just got annoyed when I tried. So when 11:30 rolled around I just went to bed. The next morning she was furious.

I’m genuinely curious if I’m in the wrong here.

Here are what netizen thinks:

  • Maybe I and her need to move the TV or get a small TV for the bedroom… maybe that will help her sleep?

Perhaps the background noise helps her sleep, my grandma is the same (so you do not need to turn off the TV when trying to wake her or leave it on?)
Also its not fair that you, you have to be accountable to wake her up so she can take her medicine. Her meds, her responsibility and its nice that you have been helping but you also gotta take care of your health (getting enough sleep). She should set an alarm, or alarms, that are very loud to wake her up/remind her at or around the same time daily.
  • I used to fall asleep on the sofa all the time and it caused no end of stress between me and my husband. We got a TV for the bedroom and it has changed our lives!
  • she needs to chill, like take a seat as in back off and calm yourself. You tried and she can be responsible for getting herself up she is an adult. I fall asleep on the couch and when my husband wakes me up I move to the bed or stay on the couch. It’s not his responsibility to force me to move it’s just kind of him to try
  • She needs to go to bed earlier or accept she will be on the sofa. It’s not your responsibility to continually unsuccessfully try and wake her. Tell her in future you’re trying once then throwing a blanket on her and going to bed. NTA.

WIFE FOUND HUSBAND EXCHANGING EXPLICIT PICS WITH OTHER WOMAN

0

A netizen shared how she found our her husband has been exchanging intimate and explicit photos with another woman.

Here is the story:

So I basically got access to his phone and he’s been texting this woman and they’ve been sending intimate photos to each other.

His explanation? I never slept with anyone. I’m just chatting. That’s not cheating. (He’s got to be kidding me) we haven’t been getting intimate lately.

We have kind of drifted apart tbh. But we have been trying to fix things and make amends. I didn’t think he would do this. He says he’s trying to keep his mental stability by doing this. He’s always known this would be a hill to die on for me.

We have a 2yo. I feel bad I’d be separating him from his father but I really cannot live with this man after this.

This wasn’t an open marriage and I’ve always made it clear any form of cheating will end this. Should I really do this or am I being unreasonable like he says?

he said he doesn’t want to get separated and he won’t agree to a divorce but he won’t force me to stay either. Just that he doesn’t want me to leave.

We wanted to buy a house together. I’ve been saving up for this and waited for it my entire life.

My whole world seems to be shattering in front of my eyes. This looks like the end of world. I know it’s probably not but it looks like it from where I stand now.

He said all men cheat and that marriages are like this, because they get boring after a point. We’ve been married for 5 years now, if that’s relevant.
