A girl took to Instagram to share how a guy allegedly took photos and videos of her chest inside an MRT.
She wrote that she was on the train about to reach Newton station, and she looked up and saw the guy pointing his phone at her friend and her suspiciously.
She then looked at the reflection on the window behind him and saw the camera pointing at her chest, and he was snapping pictures and taking videos.
She then confronted him, demanding to look at his gallery, to which he said:
“Why cannot?”
She then told him:
“If you didn’t do anything, you can show me your gallery.”
The guy then went to his gallery and accidentally showed her pictures of her in his phone, but then he realised his mistake and tilted his phone away and changed to another photo album.
He then showed her an album full of racy pictures of p*rnstars and women.
The girl then tried to take his phone to change back to the album with her in it, and the guy became aggressive and defensive.
The girl then backed off and pressed the emergency button.
The guy then hurriedly deleted the pictures and videos that he took of her before the SMRT staff came down.
You can read her full caption below:

A Facebook user shared how her late husband died while doing delivery, and that when his phone was surrendered to her, she saw a lot of angry texts from customers.
Still digesting her husband’s death, she was right in front of her husband’s body and texting and apologising to each one of them while still in extreme shock.
She questioned why employers didn’t update the customers about the incident and arrange another date and time for delivery?
She pointed out that the food could be replaced immediately by dispatching another rider, or to refund the customers.
She appealed to the both employers and customers alike for compassion, asking for efficiency from the former, and patience and understanding from the latter.

MOH responded via a press release that there was “no truth whatsoever in the assertions”.
The assertions in question refer to the article by Hindustan Times published on 18 May: “Coronavirus variant found in Singapore can be India’s 3rd wave, extremely dangerous for kids, warns Arvind Kejriwal”, as well as an article by NDTV: “Stop Singapore Flights: Arvind Kejriwal To Centre Over New Covid Strain”.
MOH said that there is no “Singapore variant”, and explained that the strain that we have seen in many of our recent Covid-19 cases is the B.1.617.2, which actually originated from India.
MOH’s full state:
“The Ministry of Health refers to the reports published by Hindustan Times on 18 May 2021 (“Coronavirus variant found in Singapore can be India’s 3rd wave, extremely dangerous for kids, warns Arvind Kejriwal”) and NDTV on 18 May 2021 (“Stop Singapore Flights: Arvind Kejriwal To Centre Over New Covid Strain”).“
“There is no truth whatsoever in the assertions found within the reports. There is no “Singapore variant”. The strain that is prevalent in many of the COVID-19 cases in recent weeks is the B.1.617.2 variant, which originated in India. Phylogenetic testing has shown this B.1.617.2 variant to be associated with several clusters in Singapore.”
As of 24 April, all long-term pass holders and short term visitors who have a recent travel history to India (including transit) in the last 14 days, have been barred entry into Singapore.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, India’s capital territory, has urged India to ban all flights with Singapore.
He tweeted that a new variant of Covid-19, which he claimed was “found in Singapore”, is “extremely dangerous” for children and could launch a third wave of infections in India.
Kejriwal was referring to the B.1.617 variant, which was in actual fact, first detected from India and originated from there.
He then appealed to the central government, saying that all air services with Singapore should be cancelled with immediate effect and that vaccination for children should be main priority.
Several Indian netizens have also pointed out to him that the variant is the same one that originated from India, and not Singapore.
Hindustan Times also used the term “Singapore virus” when reporting Kejriwal’s comments.
