AUNTIE WHO REFUSED TO WEAR MASK BECAUSE SDA GOT “NO BADGE”, CONFRONTED BY POLICE

The auntie who refused to wear a mask and challenged a Safe Distancing Ambassador for “not having a badge”, was seen being confronted by the police.

In a different photo, she was once again seen without a mask as the police questioned her at what appears to be a carpark.

This time the police did have a badge.

NEW SOVEREIGN REFUSED TO WEAR A MASK: “IF YOU HAVE NO BADGE, DON’T SPEAK TO ME”

A video surfaced online showing a middle aged woman refusing to wear a mask when asked by a Safe Distancing Ambassador.

The auntie could be heard saying that she doesn’t have to do what she says because the SDA doesn’t have a badge.

She said: “If you have no badge, why are you asking me to do something?”

She then accused the SDA of harassing her and trying to cause a scene, repeatedly asking her to “put on her badge”.

She said: “If you have no badge, don’t speak to me”.

The incident purportedly happened at Marina Bay Sands.

NTUC FAIRPRICE: WE HAVE SUFFICIENT SUPPLIES TO MEET YOUR NEEDS

NTUC FairPrice issued a statement on Facebook yesterday (14 May), assuring all customers that they have enough supplies to meet people’s needs.

They said that their stores remain open islandwide and that their key priority is to ensure people’s daily essentials remain available at any time, all the time.

They added that while they have no imposed any purchase limits at the moment, they are monitoring the situation closely.

The reiterated the need for people to maintain safe distancing as well as to only buy what they need.

SECURITY GUARD CONTROLLING TRAFFIC KENA BANG BY CAR

A video emerged online showing a security guard who was controlling the traffic getting hit by an SUV.

The driver could be seen lying on the ground and grimacing in pain, unable to get up as the driver and several passers-by rendered aid to the stricken man.

Singaporeans were seen panic buying and stocking up on supplies following the announcement of tighten Covid-19 measures.

Toilet papers and instant noodles were among the hotly contested items being cleared off the supermarket shelves.

SG GUY SAYS GOVT PURPOSELY DON’T LET MALAYS CELEBRATE HARI RAYA

A Singaporean guy took to Instagram to lament the government’s decision to implement the upcoming tightened Covid-19 measures.

He says that it’s “obvious that the government is trying to make us not celebrate our festival (SIC).”

He added that Singapore went from Phase 3 to Phase 1 just like that, and that the Chinese at least got to celebrate Chinese New Year last year and this year, highlighting that the government leniently said “be safe and adhere to the new rules and social distancing”.

He then called them out, asking why can’t they do the same for the Malays.

AUNTIE STOCKING UP TOILET PAPER BECAUSE SHE GOT A LOT OF SH*T TO DEAL WITH

An auntie was seen hoarding and stocking rolls and rolls of toilet paper from a supermarket, along with many others who were seen doing the same.

Shelves at supermarkets were seen cleared and emptied out as Singaporean showed up in droves to panic buy.

These come in the wake of the government implementing tightened Covid-19 measures that will see all dining in to be banned, as well as the limiting of social gathering to a maximum of 2 persons.
