Minister Lawrence Wong posted a touching tribute to his Father who passed away today, which happens to coincide with his 86th birthday.
He spoke about the early years of his Dad’s life and his formative years growing up under his Dad’s care.
He added on about how his father taught him the guitar and how he inspired him to take up his journey of public service.
He ended by saying that he is sad to see his dad go, but continues to find peace and comfort in his memories of him and the certainty that he had fought the good fight, kept the faith and finished the race.
Let me show with u how domineering 霸气 of my multimillionaire sister is when she cannot get any compensation from the insurance company for my mum’s hospitalization fee.
She started to scream & shouting at me bullying me for nothings as if i own the insurance company. Why she is so mean to me? This is abnormal behaviour. She is very aggressive.
This is the kind of hell life i am living under the same root with her. My mum said nothings to side me. My sister is so ill manner. Do she has obsessive behaviour like my mother is this gene? They did a false declaration for my mum claiming she is healthy when purchasing the insurance. Usually, people with high blood pressure cannot buy insurance due to its complication. That’s why they get nothing out of it. Is it my fault why she shouted at me? I noticed that she likes to scream & shout at me because im too good to bully. I endured her each time because I respect her. But this endurance became an abuse.
She always did that to me. When i twisted my ankle my foot while walking in the rain. It is swollen for a month due to poor blood circulation which a stroke patient has. She forced me to go to work during that period. Her obsessive behaviour is abnormal? She asked my mum to scold me for that. Is that normal a real sibling will do that kind of cruelty to a younger sister? I really doubt her real intention. She is simply a cruel person without any empathy to a stroke patient who trying to struggle with her new life. As everything change over the night. Initially, I dragged my left leg to try to learn to walk.
Sometimes it simply feels nothings numbness like I have no leg. My left arm was also useless refused to work when one of my brain cells die-off everything changed. She enjoys mentally tortured me. She has obsessive 强迫症 behaviour which is a type of mental illness.
She does not provide me with moral support at all. She is a very cruel, inhuman person.

A man can no longer tolerate his neighbour after the uncle walks around in only a shirt and scratch his balls and spits all over the corridor.
Here is what the netizen said:
Till date, town council nor NEA has done any real action against a neighbour despite multiple reports. The corridor is full of spits, even the ground floor wasn’t spared. He also enjoys pouring water down to the 1st floor as well.
Already have no idea on how to deal with this person.
A netizen shared a story about a man who shows off his riches to him but ends up a fraud trying to bluff his friends for money.
Here is the story:
I have this friend let’s just say his name is ‘Chris’. We met him sometime back while we were drinking. He gave us a background that he was raised in the USA and came back to Singapore about 10 years ago.
We thought that his an “ah sia kia” but ends up he is a “pu bor kia”. He would often show off by asking us to dine at Marina Bay Sands and proudly say that the meals at the coffee shop are too cheap for him. He even told us that he stays in a condominium near MBS.
Then he told us that his father works in the oil industry and money is something he never has to worry about.
He convinced one of my friends to refer him to work and get an interview because he was too bored at home for being a “rich man’s son”. His story started to break apart after filling up the personal particulars. In the particulars form, it states that he stays at Jurong East and not at Marina Bay.
He failed to secure the job and we kept quiet even after knowing his secret, few weeks later he texted me and asked if I can lend him $20 to buy cigarettes.
I replied to him: hello, you stay “MBS” I stay Yishun leh, u need $20 meh. sorry lah I poor.
He said: MBS is my father buy one mah not me I just stay there.
I said: oh really ah, what’s your postal code.
He could not reply to me and realised his story is gone case.
A netizen posted photos of his irresponsible neighbour who threw all this rubbish out of their home and all over the floors.
Here is the story:
Last time rubbish chute inside home but now new flats rubbish chute outside and this is what we get.
Rubbish chute from inside the home was much-much better in many ways. It just needs to be vacuum tight! At least irresponsible people have to tolerate their trash in their own homes.
This is also much safer than having to go out which most times people don’t lock their doors in the process.
These kinds of people I really don’t understand. Why must they be like that? Can’t they think of others? Just throw it in! how hard can that be? Or maybe they are moving house or something but yet can ask hdb/Town Council to arrange for someone to come and get rid of the things ma.
A 20 year old man who cannot be named due to a gag order given to protect the victims abused his stepbrothers sexually and even tried to use S$5 to get his 10 years old stepbrother to perform a sex act on him.
Here’s what happened
Last August or September, the 20 year old accused visited his mother’s home to play on the PlayStation with his 10 year old stepbrother.
The stepbrother lost the game and was about to leave when the offender grabbed him and instructed him to touch his private parts as forfeit for losing the game.
He lay on the bed and flashed his “banana” to him.
The younger boy refused to oblige to the offender’s instruction and the offender offered him S$5 to which the younger boy agreed as he felt that the older brother was intimidating.
He obliged for a good ten minutes while feeling petrified and disgusted at the same time.
After the deed was done, he refused the money and ran out to tell his mother about what went on inside the room.
Second time it happened
On 5th September last year, the offender went to the Mother’s home again to take care of his two stepbrothers as the mother had promised him money.
He asked the eight year old boy this time to touch his private parts.
He refused as well but obliged ultimately because the offender was persistent.
The boy then left the room after some time to use the toilet and reportedly told the mother that he was going to wash his hands as they were “dirty” after stroking his brother’s private parts.
The boy’s father subsequently reported the matter on Sep 16, saying that his sons have been sexually assaulted.
The mitigation and sentence
The 20 year old pleaded guilty to two counts of procuring the commission of an obscene act by a child.
His dad signed a S$5000 bond to ensure his good behaviour.
He was sentenced to 21 months probation on Monday (16 August 2021) and 60 hours of community service.
He will be placed on an electric monitoring scheme and will have to undergo an offence-specific programme.
He will also not be allowed to be left unsupervised with a child and also not allowed to contact or visit his stepbrothers unless supervised.
He could have been jailed up to five years and fined up to S$10,000 or both.
