NETIZEN FEELS UNHAPPY BECAUSE PARK IS DOMINATED BY FOREIGNERS!

0

At Kallang. What’s going on to our peace and green country??

The whole field become a bangla-filipina picnic zone. Why not tell them to picnic at East Coast park or Pasir Ris park instead of a field juz next to an MRT station. It’s v unsightly to others. Can something be done abt this??

HOW THIS FT TRUCK DRIVER PASS HIS DRIVING LICENSE?

Reckless driver (foreigner), luckily there was no one running passed the driver.

Be careful everyone. He was also rude to the man talking to him.

What do you guys think?

$3300 FOR NATIONAL DAY BILLBOARD. WORTH THE MONEY?

NATIONAL DAY, worthAs tall as a bus. Unnecessary waste of taxpayer money. All this for the national day, worth it?

In 2010, I wrote to this same Ang Mo Kio Town Council to ask how much these billboards cost.

They replied:

$3,300 per billboard.
$50 for electricity to light each board from 7 pm to 7 am every day for a month.

I don’t know how much they cost now.

For the sake of national day and putting this up for a month, besides that it could easily feed the poor.

LOST YOUR EZLINK CARD? SMRT TAKES 48 HOURS TO STOP YOUR CARD

Hello, I cannot understand why I need to wait 48h after I report card loss. I can see that my card is being used while I am waiting during that 48h.

Does it even make sense to wait for that 48h?

This is the efficiency of SMRT. Never ever top up too much.

According to EZ link

WHAT IS CARD BLOCKING?

“Card Blocking is a free service by EZ-Link which enables you to have a total peace of mind when you use your ez-link card. Block your ez-link card and recover remaining funds if you lose it and be covered in the event of unauthorized usage on your lost car”

Piece of mind my a**

NETIZEN CLAIMS. “NO POLICE FOLLOW UP ON BANK CASE AFTER 1 MONTH”

Hi,

I writing in regarding a case file on 7th July 2018 when I have 15 unauthorized transaction done on my debit card. Not to mention the filing of police reported needed 2 hours (11pm till 1 am) where the police officer on duty at the Sembawang police post spend 45mins questioning me the purpose of filing the report (shouldn’t I file police report when there is unauthorized transaction done?) by asking me “ What is the purpose of filing this report?”

After the filing the case I was advised that my case IO will call me the next day to follow the case however 1 week past yet I received no calls.

The bank did follow up a call with me for updates as they did not receive any follow up from the police and I try reaching my IO on that week, but none of the call I made able to reach him! When he finally reached me after I left him a message ( previously I did not left him any message) he actually asked me who he should contact to follow up my case ( honestly am I the only fraud case happening in Singapore?).

Today I called the bank for follow up and the bank told me that no police officer have approached them for following up after 1 month plus. So I ring my IO again just, which I cant reach him still. I called investigation branch contact centre wanted to feedback on my case but I was advised that I can only call my IO direct line or email him directly IF I want to feedback. Can you pls advise who can assist my case?

A GUIDE TO HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL. ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

The Hungry Ghost month in 2018 starts on 11 August starting 11pm (rat hour) to September 9th. Zhong Yuan Festival is on 25th August. This is when spirits and ghost are released from Hades to roam the living world. You can setup your offerings in the South sector during 11pm onward.

Gate of Hell Opened

For private houses, the Gate of Hell is open on the first day of the Ghost Month, on which ghosts come out to the mortal world and the sacrifice ceremony, grand or simple, is required. The grand sacrifice ceremony means offering a good meal while the simple means preparing some fruits and desserts to show respect. As the saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. This kind of sacrifice ceremony implies bringing me no trouble once eating my food.

Gate of Heaven Opened

For public places, the Gate of Hell is open on the second day of the Ghost Month. In ancient times, shops and government offices held the sacrifice ceremony one day after the private houses to pray for safety and no mysterious case in the month.

There is nothing one need to be fearful of, as they are also considered energy in the human world. In most cases, we don’t usually do renovation commencement in this month. Do however follow simple guide line below to ensure a smooth month transition.

1. Don’t response to someone calling your name if you are walking alone at late night. Yin energy is strong right after 11pm.

2. Hotels are considered Yin places, together with hospital. If you can avoid visiting them is better.

3. Stay away from beaches, places with huge amount of trees

4. If you have 6th sense since young, it’s better not to go home late.

5. It is not advisable to swim in this month

6. Avoid making major decision in contract signing.

7. House renovation is best not to commence in this month.

8. Do not pick up anything on the road, such as mattress, coins, money and abandoned stuffs.

9. Do not make fun of spirits and it is best to be respectful.

10. If you find yourself having a lot of negative (or suicidal) thoughts for this month, visit the temple / churches and say your prayers often.

11. Keep a positive mindset and always do good deeds and accumulate good karma.

Some idiot Hit & Run on my VW at Toa Payoh PIE entry @ 3.45pm,11 Aug 2018 with my son in the car. My wife was driving and claimed that this grey car of plate number should be if never remember wrongly, SJS6628G hit from behind and sped off then after instead of stopping!

thank you!

NETIZEN CLAIM SMRT BUS HIT AND RUN @ TOA PAYOH

First ever hit and run case of my life. And by an SMRT bus no less- side-swiped and scraped on the highway today Aug 12th at 4.25pm along PIE towards Tuas, around Exit 15, near Toa Payoh Swimming Complex.

They were merging lanes, I had right of way (being on the right and hence closer to the highway), and even slowed down to let him pass, to be safe. Instead, the driver cut sharply into my lane and sliced into my passenger side, leaving colourful marks in its wake and violently snapping my window inwards. Had it not been a sturdy continental make, more severe dents (and even personal injury) would have been sustained.

Shocked, I honked loudly and repeatedly after him. Instead of stopping, he drove off. I tailed after him, going to his right to get a good look at his face. He abruptly exited the highway without signalling, making it impossible for me to follow without further danger.

I can’t believe a public bus driver just did that- rammed past me, ignored all signals to stop, and essentially did a hit and run with all those passengers on board.

A police report has been made, and the police has officially classified this as a hit and run case. I hope this errant and unrepentant driver never gets to ferry a bus load of passengers again, if only for their safety, and that of other users on the road.
