Hello Durian Lovers

I was a durian seller for more 30 years since 1960’s.

I am revealing some durian sellers dirty tricks & the quality of the durians. This year the durians are very expensive & hope readers will decide after reading it.

1) never buy durian from display packaging pack why? becos the seller will assemble overnight or half spoilt durians into packaging pack & sell at fixed price. Actually overnight durians are almost worthless & easily get bad.If the durians taste sour pls stop eating & throw away the pack.

2) pls do not eat branded durians like Mao Shan Wang/D24/red prawns & others why? the durian farmers will spray toxic chemicals at the tree roots/bark & durians to prevent flying fox/snake/insects & others from attacking their expensive durians.As a result you can hardly see housefly & ants at the durian stalls nowadays.

3) FYI I lost 2 good friends ( died from throats cancer) by eating branded durians for few years. I did warn them Just try to eat Mao Shan Wang/D24/red prawns & others you can straight away feel the burning sensation at your throat during your sleep or next morning.This indicate the toxic chemical are working. Another gd example to confirm the above that there are no housefly or ants attacking the durian packaging sale pack although the durians are very sweet. Just check it yourself.

4) pls buy durians without any pre-opening why? the durians fell from trees snakes/insects will try to eat/attack at any opening of the durians—not safe
Made sure your durians are open in front of you & any pre-opening pls do not accept as the sellers are always tricky. They try to pass the bad one to you & after all they are businessman.( I know all their dirty tricks like using hand gloves or cloth to cover the durians & pretend to open it——actually the durians are already opened or pretend sweet talk to distract you)

Pls check all your buy durians before paying( they can switch them very fast) & also check their weighting machines.After all the durians is like the price of gold.

5) pls do not eat any durian cakes/pudding/deserts as the owners buy the cheapest quality.

GRAB DRIVER COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY MOLESTED PASSENGER

My name is Jeff (name changed to protect identity.)

I am not writting this article to gain any sympathy, there is no point doing so. I would like to reveal the mishandling of the case and action taken by Grab company.

My elder brother committed suicide on 19 June 2018. He was working as a Grab driver.

He joined Grab as a private car driver in 2014 during Grab’s early start up days.
Grab has grown to be quite a successful company now, even Temasek Holdings hold shares in it. I emphasise ‘Temasek Holdings’, which is a state owned company, which means the Government has a share in it.

Grab is a success in a financial sense, however in the morale sense, it is a total failure. Allow me to share the experience regarding the full incident.

On 15 June 2018, a passenger had made a police report and a complain to Grab for outrage of modesty. My elder brother picked up 2 passengers, 1 alighted in Choa Chu Kang and the other alighted in Woodlands.

The complain and allegation was made by the 2nd passenger.

Grab investigation team called my brother in for an interview, and the investigation officer asked if he did anything, he mentioned ‘no’ , and that it was a ‘false accusation.’ The investigation officer fired him from the job as a driver. He asked the investigation officer, if he clears the case with the police, can he continue driving, but the officer said ‘no.’

The point i am making is, the police had not interviewed him nor made any charge in the law court, so why did Grab fire him without an investigation made?

Their “investigation” is just by listening to customers, as customers are always right. Many Grab drivers will agree with me on this, how many of you got suspended for a few days just because customers complained?

With Grab’s incentives dropped and a 20% cut from the passengers’ fare as commission to Grab, many drivers would have faced financial difficulties. They have families to feed.

My elder brother felt that being fired out of nowhere would bring more financial difficulties to himself and his family. He committed suicide so that his family could get an insurance payout.

I went to Grab’s HR department and Invrstigation department thrice, but they brushed off the incident. 2 staffs who claimed to be the head of the investigation team ascertained that Grab did their investigation proper and that led to the firing off my brother. I repeat it was not a suspension, it was termination, without first clearing the case with the police.

This is so much for financial gains and neglecting morale values.

I urge the Grab drivers, do not waste your life away slogging for an immoral company.
For such an income, there are many safer jobs out there. This ensures your family ricebowl as well as your safety.

FIRST SPEEDING OFFENCE CANNOT WAIVE? PUSHED GUY TO EDGE

Im very upset…First time speeding offence why cannot waive? Then why you have an option that says “financial difficulties” in your list for appeal. Whole world knows I am cashless and now I have no extra cash to pay you, and I can’t reach you to ask for an extension for deadline  May I check if TP can allow instalment?

I really need advice, my deadline is 18th July…

MAID GET EMPLOYER IN TROUBLE AFTER LOANING FROM THE SHARKS

To all domestic workers: a reminder not to borrow from loansharks or give your employer’s address to money lenders, even the legal ones.

Your situation may be difficult and you need money urgently, but doing so may result in you and your employer’s family getting in trouble.

These poor babies currently reside in a vacated factory and is only fed by a worker who hardly can make ends meet. The person who reached out to us is also at her wits end as many AWGs are not able to help. Every second, these pups are also in danger as the area is ply with heavy vehicles.

CDAS focuses mostly on chained or confined dogs and have limited resources too. But every now and then, it saddens us when we come across pups in such a plight.

Let’s all share this post and hopefully these pups get some help?

CHEATER HIDE $50 AND SAID HE DID NOT RECEIVED HIS CHANGE!

BE WARY OF THIS MAN!!!

He was paying me $3 for a bowl of noodles with his $100 note. As I was passing him his change of $50 & the balance, he quickly put the $50 note into his wallet & claim he did not received @ all and kick up a big fuss out of it. I had no choice but to give him another $50 ( 5 pcs of $10) to pacify him and also as my cctv was not accessible at that moment.

However I was pretty sure I did give him the $50.
My boss showed me the cctv video the following day.It proved I am right but way too late.
So if he buys things from anyone @ anywhere… Please be careful…

This happens at Lorong Ah Soo Blk 118 coffee shop on 9/7/18 @ 2+ in the afternoon.
Whoever you are, you are such a disgrace! To yourself, to everyone who knows you!
U should reflect your own actions!

BAD ATTITUDE FROM SCOOT. HK TO SINGAPORE

My colleagues and I are extremely upset with regards to the SCOOT incident and services on 12 July 2018. We are supposed to be on board of our flight TR975 at 9:50 pm from Hong Kong to Singapore. 3 of us checked in and sat at Gate 215 area, there was no announcement being made.

As mentioned to the officers on ground and over the phone, should’nt there be any calling if 3 passengers already checked in when they are not on board? We saw the plane was still there and requested them to let us on board. They did not check and strictly just replied NO in a rude manner!!!

We have been waiting at Gate area 215 and there were 3 officers sat at their counter. Shouldn’t they have the courtesy to check with us if knowing there are 3 persons still missing to board? There’s no security check being conducted and the flight just left us at the airport!!!!

We questioned the officers and ended up Ms Josephine Cheung raised up her voice on 3 of us. We were totally annoyed by her attitude towards us.

I called 3 times to Scoot office and spoke to 3 different officers, trying to get help at the soonest possible. Surprisingly and being so disappointed there was no help being rendered to us.

We seriously felt that we should not be deserved for such a bad service from Scoot. Alvin who was the manager just told us to pay to arrange another flight back?!!! There’s nothing much if he could do and may go ahead to lodge a complaint.

Told me he will check and get back to me at his soonest possible, ended up what I found out from my follow up call from another customer service officer was HE WENT FOR HIS BREAK and not available. We are being left at Hong Kong airport with no assistance at MIDNIGHT!!!!

We are utterly disappointed with the entire encounters. Always hearing bad reviews and complaints for taking Scoots. Never expect that it was such a horrible experience!!!!

We strongly feel that the MANAGEMENT of SCOOT should look into the area of customer services and support! We demand the compensation for our monetary, time and emotional loss for this incident.

MAN TRIED TO RUN AWAY AT JB CIQ, SUSPECTED CARRYING ILLEGAL GOODS

Attempted runaway at JB CIQ. Officers said he threw something away while running away! *Edit : Suspect was running full speed away from gates (From Singapore) with 5 customs officials in pursuit.

They apprehended him soon after and took(carried) him away.The suspect was mumbling incoherently and had an unkempt look. I asked one of the officers and he said ‘U ada nampak dia buang apa apa tak?’

So I assume he was carrying illegal goods. Sekian terima kasih.

IS SIA STILL WORTH THE MONEY? READ THIS COMPLAIN

I have always thought of Singapore Airlines as the best Asian airlines and one of the best in the world. However, my recent experience in business class was very subpar.

First off, the seats were angled weird and made it difficult to sleep comfortably … really poor design. The entertainment consul remote was also not very responsive. There were way too many announcements causing frequent interruptions in watching movies (and don’t tell me they are necessary as I’ve never experienced so many announcements on any other airlines).

The bigger problem came to the flight attendant service. I “booked the cook” for all my flight meals when it was available. On NONE of the flights were any of the flight attendants aware that I had pre-ordered my meals (very disorganized). They always asked me what I wanted to order and I had to remind them that I had booked the cook. Even on one flight, the same flight attendant was very forgetful and asked me 2-3 times what I wanted to order. On my last leg back home (Seoul to LAX), same problem occurred, but this time they completely forgot to serve me breakfast (despite being awoken almost 4 hours before landing).

They served me the preliminary stuff but then I sat for another hour with no meal served. I went up to one of the flight attendants, and she notified me that she accidentally gave my pre-ordered meal to someone else. However, 10 minutes later, she came out with my correct meal, which tells me she simply just forgot to serve me. The head flight attendant was apologetic and offered me a 100 Singapore Dollar voucher to use on in flight shopping, which did me no good as the shop on the flight had already closed.

He told me it was good for one year, but I have no idea if I am going to take another Singapore Airlines flight within the next year, and especially not after this poor experience.

I just left the voucher on the plane as it did me no good.

This was such a terrible and disappointing experience. Singapore Airlines has definitely fallen behind in quality and service to other Asian airlines … you would be even laughed at compared to the Middle Eastern airlines.
