An employee working at a fish farm located at Lim Chu Kang was jailed after he attacked his co-worker with a mallet that is meant to kill fish. Although the mallet does not have a metallic surface it still can deal substantial damage to a person.

Earlier today 35-year-old Saw Paing Soe Thu (Myanmar national) was sentenced to 1 year and 1-month in jail after he attacked his colleague Aung Win Htut with a dangerous weapon.

Months before the incident happened Saw Paing Soe Thu and Aung Win Htut had a dispute because Aung was walking around naked on the farm.

The incident happened on 9 April 2021, Aung Win Htut was again walking around naked because he was going for a shower. Saw Piang Soe Thu was not happy and felt uneasy for his co-worker walking around without clothes on.

Saw Piang Soe Thu who just drank some wine went to retrieved a mallet meant to process fish and bash the head of his co-worker on the head which lead to Aung Win Htut falling and bleeding.

Aung Win Htut did not retaliate and he contacted his boss which alerted the Police. Aung Win Htut was later sent to Ng Teng Fond hospital for treatment.

There are many documented cases of drivers being “stuck” while driving, and cannot move on.

It’s like when you are driving down a road and it feels like you’ve been driving for hours and you just can’t seem to get out.

This phenomenon is described by the Chinese as “Gui Da Qiang”, where apparently a person’s eyes is “covered” by a ghost.

A netizen shared how he was driving on the ECP at around 11pm, heading home.

He drove into the section of the expressway that was lined with palm trees, and there were no cars in sight.

The drive along the stretch with the palm trees usually lasts about 5 minutes but he had been driving for almost 20 minutes.

He then stopped his car, turned off the engine and closed his eyes; before turning on the engine again and driving off, this time the road finally curved.

But the curve bent to the right like a u-turn, which didn’t make sense because this is the expressway.

He then followed the bend and drove down, and eventually the road u-turned again.

The ECP became something like a closed loop, and he was driving round and round.

He said that he easily spent 2 hours circling the loop and being unable to get out, with not a single car or anything in sight.

He even called the police and his friends, who drove up and down the ECP to look for him but couldn’t find him.

He said that he then saw something moving under the moonlight, a strange dark blob.

He then decided to drive towards the moving thing and suddenly the streetlights turned on and he was drifting from the centre lane to the right lane.

Suddenly he could see other vehicles on the road, and a taxi was honking him from behind.

He gave way to the driver, who wound down his window and asked him to pull over.

The driver asked him if he got “kena” anything off or not, and he told him that he was “stuck” driving round and round.

The taxi driver then said “no wonder, you suddenly appear in front of my car”.

He then advised him to go temple to pray the next day, since it’s about 3am already, if not things will get worse.

Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung, said that the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) has repeatedly made false statements that the Singapore-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) gives Indians a “free hang” to work in Singapore.

Address PSP’s NMP Leong Mun Wai claims that foreign professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMETs) and free trade agreements (FTAs) have affected the jobs and livelihoods of Singaporeans, Ong said:

“These statements are false. They have been repeated for too long.”

He added that FTAs and the CECA have been made into “political scapegoats” to discredit the policies of the government.

Ong also touched on how xenophobia and racism against Indians have been rising over the past few months, noting that PSP has claimed that FTAs and CECA have led to the inflow of Indian professionals into Singapore to displace Singaporeans from jobs.

“This is a seductively simplistic argument that workers facing challenges at their workplaces can identify with, and has stirred up a lot of emotions.”

“Words gradually became deeds, and toxic views turned into verbal and physical assaults on Indians, including our citizens. It is sad, that serious issues concerning the economic well-being of our country and workers, have descended to this.”

Mediacorp actress He Yingying, shared an incident years ago (in 2017) that resulted in her crying.

She said that she was at a store opening with a few other celebrities.

The photographer then gathered all the artistes for a group photo, but then told her to get out of the picture in front of everybody.

A man was caught by his girlfriend after sleeping with numerous women, she is angry that he has cheated but she thinks about the times the bf spend money on her.

Here is the story:

I have been together with my boyfriend for 2 years and I recently found out that he had been cheating on me with a few girls.

I was devastated and he begged me not to break it off with him. He promised to change and really did what he said by letting me go through his phone, coming clean with those relationships and informing me wherever he goes and with who. Though I could see his efforts a part of me felt that he might do it again.

As I went through his phone, I wasn’t so sure if he would follow through with his promises. On the other hand, he treats me really well by spending his free time and money on me. Sex was good too.

I admit that I’m hunkering after his affections and love but deep down I don’t trust him. It’s probably a phase to overcome cheating and I can’t deal with the fact that he slept with multiple girls and in my view, that makes him dirty and disgusting.
