TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR MARINA RUN 2018: SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE!

The Marina Run 2018 will be held on Saturday, 10 February 2018.

To facilitate the event, Marina East Drive will be closed on Saturday, 10 February 2018 from 5.30pm to 11.30pm.

During the closure, access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles. Auxiliary Police officers will be deployed along the affected road to assist and direct motorists.

Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed.

Members of the public may contact the organiser at 8177 8110 for further enquiries.

Members of the public have alerted IRAS that they have received suspicious calls from persons claiming to be IRAS officers and requesting that they pay their outstanding taxes immediately to unknown bank accounts. The telephone number displayed on the caller IDs included IRAS’ Individual Income Tax helpline “63568300”.

This is a scam. These calls were not made by IRAS officers.

Members of the public are advised to ignore such calls, and lodge police reports if they have fallen victim to such frauds.

My friend was pumping diesel halfway at Bukit Batok on 1st Feb 2018. Then this “hero” flashed out Donnie Yen’s movie weapon (retractable baton) but action to hit but dumped on the floor, then picked up again.

Even threatened the Bangladeshi who took this video sent to my friend.

People merely using the public pump, dunno what this “hero” thinking of claiming that is his pump..lol

Update: Thank you everyone for the help this far. We understand that Lum Jie is in Gunung Pulai. The rescue team and volunteers are covering the mountain but as the area is big, more teams may work faster. A few other teams are going in tomorrow.

Only help now might be to pull in more teams (with experience) to help. Would be sharing below some of the teams who are gathering numbers.

Hi friends, if you have already heard, my dear friend Lum Jie (Lums/Lumjie/Clarice) Lum Jie is missing and has remained uncontactable since yesterday.

We are very worried for her and grateful if you may help share this post or have a look out for her. She last left her house at about 8 am yesterday morning. Last seen in green top, tights, bag pack and running shoes (see photos). She is in Johor Bahru as per police records but we have no leads about who is/was with. A video is surfacing online about a lady who was visibly aiming for a car, walking around it and observe if there are anyone in that area to catch her. And she would be successful too, but she forgot about the camera.

Unfortunately for her, most cars in carparks nowadays have cameras to catch such crime. Even if she successfully blocks it, there are other cars in that area that could have captured her face.

Salam & Dear All Friends of Facebook. I’m Lia, 20 years old and I’m posting this concern as an Individual. I’m raising *Emergency Funds and willing to accept anything blessed.

*This is not for organisations or charities.*

Last Saturday 27th January 2018 approximately 12.37am, my home was caught on fire. it started from the masterbedroom. Valuables, Clothes, household items like Bed, wardrobe, Tv , curtains, desk were badly burned to crisps and damaged.
*Sadly, my Home was not covered in any insurance as expired in 2016.*

As this is very sudden, i’m not in financially prepared. I’m staying at an RC for the short time being while hoping to slowly fix the house back if you have anything useful to Bless
