In this day and age how are youngsters still being able to smoke in broad daylight in school uniform.

Singapore has a strict policy that the underage are not allow to purchase or consume any cigarettes or any tobacco products.

Currently there is a on going proposal to raise the legal smoking age from 18 to 21. But how is this going to stop young children from getting their hands on cigarettes.

Although Singapore is one the countries in the world that has the lowest smoking rate. We are still fighting a worldwide problem of the illegal sale of cigarettes to minors.

We need to make a stand and punish those who are selling or helping minors to acquire cigarettes, i believe a stricter enforcement to those caught helping minors get cigarettes should be impose.

Say Goodbye to the ERP gates where many drivers fear and try to avoid.

Singapore govt is bringing the new ERP system that uses a satellite system. The new ERP system is set to be operational by 2020, the satellite has the ability to cover all singapore roads and charge drivers by the distance travelled instead of the traditional fixed rates.

The new system will allow the govt to be able to charge fairly and justify road usage prices without only relying on fuel duties.

Locals are worried that the new ERP system might impose even higher fees. The future is still unknown. But always be prepared and save money!

Untitled-7Singapore Army Vs Mother Of The Dead

The High court case of a NSF who unfortunately move on in 2012 after exposure to fumes from a training session that requires throwing grenades.

On 3rd of March 2016, Four years after the tragic passing of the NSF, the court stays in favour of Singapore Armed Forced.

This news was a second blow to the victim’s family. The mother of the victim express her sadness and injustice that she did not taught her son well. Which she had to pay the price of the death of her son.

A mother will always love and nurture her offsprings to the finest caliber. But in life there are elements beyond a mother’s control. Such as a countries law which requires Singapore men to enlist into the army at the age of 18 or after completion of tertiary education.

Untitled-5Every father and every son goes through the tough phase in life of being a green man. Mandatory it is. As a home-grown Singaporean i have seen different fellow army boys that goes through the different phase of army life.

Phase 1: Enlist

Father: “You better get marksman and get into OCS or at least specialist course.”

Mother: “Be careful with the guns and jungle, don’t be a hero!”

GF/BF: “i will wait for you(ya right….90% of the time) To those who really waited and get married you have found the Mary Jane of Spiderman.

Friends: “HAHA! your turn!”

Phase 2: Shaving And Getting Ready To See Green Everyday

Training, running, cleaning and live in fear.  But some people are not afraid, there are some who are special, some would say chao geng (escape).

This is the story of a daring and smart guy that use every aspect of army law aka directive to live his life with maximum freedom.

Mr M was a aspiring young men that did not bother to do anything in life and did not put effort into anything till he went to army.

On enlistment, Mr M was 68kgs. Wanna guest his weight after BMT? 78kg!

As Mr M is well verse in medical field he did not have to lift a single finger to do anything. He is always on Attend B or C.

As Mr M is a mischievous by nature fellow he manage to win the hearts of his commanders and fellow company mates although he is a chao geng, He met Mr K a sabotage warrior aka sabo kia, Which made him get into punishments all the time. Somehow Mr M made the whole company laugh at him and did a couple of pranks to him till he had to go the mental institute. After getting rid of Mr K.

Somehow MR M completed the minimum requirements to pass BMT.

Mr M continue his journey to another camp for training. Yet another victim went to mental institute….the story will continue if there is more than 100 likes….
